So this Au Is exactly what it sounds like, but Cody was born blind.

He's never seen his brother's face, nor his family's. He's bullied at school, and he doesn't even know what his best friends look like. He has to be guided everywhere.

Until he meets a special person who can change that.

He goes through surgery to get his vision corrected, although it doesn't work completely, it allows him to see through one eye.

The first face he sees is his brother, and the rest of his family. He's overcome with joy and emotion as they hug him. Although the surgery caused the failed eye to become grey, Cody can see now, and that's what matters.
