Dabi awakens Kivi. "Time to get up. There's been a change of plans."

Kivi sits up, rubbing her eyes. "Change of plans?"

"We got a call from some asshole last night. He has our broker, and we're going to get him back."

Kivi looks up at him. "That's what heroes do."

"Shut it and get up. You're gonna help us take them down."

"What about my brother?"

"Twice is gonna measure you and make a clone of you to watch over the boy while we're gone."

"You're trusting me to stay with him by myself? What makes you think my clone won't take him and run?"

"Twice is also gonna leave a Mr. Compress clone." He throws some clothes at her. "Get dressed in this."

"Of course." She sighs and gets off the couch, leaving her sleeping brother behind. She looks at the suit given to her. "Is this supposed to be my villain suit?"

"It's all we got so deal with it."

Kivi looks at herself in a full length mirror—that Dabi for some reason has—and sighs. "Red really clashes with my hair."

Dabi makes his way up behind me. "Once we get some money we'll get you a better outfit, Kivi."

Her brows furrow. "Don't call me Kivi. That's not my name. Not anymore..."

"Then what is it?"

She stares at her now purple eyes. "I'm not going by her name." She thinks. "Apate. That's my name now."

"Apate?"

"Apate is the name of a Greek Goddess. If you're curious as to what she's the goddess of, you can look it up yourself," Kivi scoffs.

"I don't really care, Apate. We need to get going before dermatitis starts bitching at me," Dabi scoffs and makes his way up the steps.

Kivi heads over to her brother and kisses his forehead. "I'll be back soon." She stands and follows behind Dabi.

After getting Kivi measured and cloned, they all head out towards Deika City.

"You once said that you can track anyone who's energy you've taken, correct?" Shigaraki asks Kivi.

"Yes."

"Do you remember Giran, the man with the glasses?"

"I do." Kivi points to the tall tower straight ahead of them in the distance. "He's at the top of that tower."

"Then that's where we have to go."

"Talk about the 'burbs. Not too small, not too big..." Spinner voices.

"Nice atmosphere around here," Twice says. "It ticks me off!"

"One hour and forty minutes until our oversized friend awakens," Compress says. "Making them clash with Machia will require that we fight as well. This will be no walk in the park. I dare say."

"Yeesh," Dabi groans. "Why'd you have to drag me into this?"

"Hey, Giran brought you into the fold too!" Twice shouts.

"Like I care?" Dabi answers.

"You bastard!"

Kivi and Toga turn at the same time, hearing something.

Toga decides to voice it. "Someone's coming!"

Everyone immediately gets ready to fight.

Said person skids to a stop a few feet away from the villain group. "Not another step! I was ordered to guide you down into town!"

"A hero?!" Spinner shouts confused, looking at his attire. "I don't recognize this one."

"If you want a face-to-face with the liberation army's commander... then you'd best follow me, okay?!"

"Damn he's annoying," Kivi groans.

Dabi nudges her with an amused grin. "Ssh, you're gonna get us in trouble."

They all follow the strange 'hero' into the city, finding the whole place basically empty.

"Not a soul around..." Compress voices.

Shigaraki looks around, seeing some hero looking people all along roofs. "This whole city, huh?"

Their guide speaks up. "This place isn't usually my turf... but today's a big exception!"

A man and a woman make that their big entrance.

"Just as the man says! Here in Deika City... 90 percent of the population, heroes included, are liberation warriors, lying in wait. This is a liberated district!" the man says. "Thank you for making the trip, and welcome! This is a day of celebration, and you are the guests of honor. Shall we start the festivities?" He pauses for dramatic effect. "This is the metahuman liberation army's revival celebration!"

Then all the heroes attack at once, forcing Kivi to cover them in a force field.

"I knew it was a good idea to bring you along, Apate!" Toga squeals, and latches on to Kivi.

"That's Hanabata, leader of the Hearts and Mind party!!" Compress says shocked.

"Is he some big shot?" Spinner asks.

"Yes! Someone who could easily have 110,000 followers!" Compress replies.

"Hmm, it seems that you have someone new on your team that we haven't accounted for," Hanabata says, looking at Kivi. "That could be troublesome..."

"So what? We were promised we'd get Giran back! What an obvious lie!" Twice shouts.

Kivi sends the force field out, knocking back any nearby liberation members.

Shigaraki blasts out and disintegrates a couple weirdos. "Off to the tower!"

Toga ends up getting cut off by the woman from before. She ends up using Ochaco's blood and transforming into her. Toga then discovers she can use the quirk of the person she turns into.

Reminder to never let her get my blood. Kivi thinks, watching as she drops the woman and her followers from way up, killing them as they smash into the concrete. Kivi turns away and continues to follow Shigaraki, Dabi, Compress, Spinner, and Twice.

"How much longer until wakey-wakey time?" Spinner asks, dodging people.

"One hour, 20 minutes!" Compress replies.

Kivi drains the energy of anyone that comes up to her.

"For real?!" Spinner groans. "Even though we knock 'em down, they just keep coming."

"You haven't taken a single one out yet," Dabi comments. "Our newbie is doing more."

"Where'd Toga run off to?" Twice shouts.

"She got held up," Kivi says. "She's currently dying in a shed at that blue house over there."

"Why didn't you say so sooner?!" Twice shouts.

"You guys act like I care if you die," Kivi retorts.

"Harsh!" Twice shouts. "You got that from Dabi, didn't you?! I vote she stops hanging out with him!"

"I didn't teach her that," Dabi replies.

"I'm going to get Toga!" Twice shouts, running off.

A van appears out of nowhere with Hanabata reporting from the top of it. "Attention all! I have tragic news to report! Ms. Curious has fallen in battle! She gave her life to the liberation cause!"

The army around the villains gasps. "Ahh! How awful!! Any word from the grand commander about this?!"

"'Do not let her sacrifice be in vain,' he said."

That gets everyone wound up and they all come for Shigaraki in one big hoard.

"I see Hanabata's playing role of preacher gathering his flock," Compress says. "This isn't an army. It's more like a religious sect."

"I toldja there's money in religion!" Twice shouts.

Shigaraki jumps up and lets loose a big disintegration on the horde of people coming for him, making the league look on in surprise.

His decay spread to people he wasn't even touching! This is bad! They're getting stronger! Kivi groans as she blasts another away.

"Shigaraki... you..." Spinner gasps.

"If our dear leader's racking up bodies, then I'm going all in too," Dabi says. "Hanging back and taking the pacifist route was never my style..." He lashes out a giant pillar of fire only for it to get stopped by ice. "Ice, huh...?"

Kivi stops, wondering if she should stay and help or continue to follow Shigaraki. "Dabi–"

"Go, I can handle this loser."

She nods and continues to follow the others. After a bit the area explodes with dozens upon dozens upon dozens of Twice's. He's seemed to overcome whatever made him not want to clone himself. He then begins to replicate Dabi and Compress and Kivi. The Kivi's alone are enough to take the rest of the measly followers coming for them.

They end up getting to the tower and sending up a clone of Shigaraki, Twice, Dabi, Kivi, and Compress. The real Kivi and Shigaraki hang right outside the tower.

"So, now what?" Kivi asks.

"Patience," Shigaraki says, hovering a hand on the tower.

He eventually places his whole hand on it and totally decimates the tower when he gets a signal.

"Some warning would be nice!" Kivi says, throwing a shield over the two.

The Kivi clone floats out carrying Giran before the tower falls.

The tower plummets to the ground and the only survivor is the boss. He stands up, the tower crumbles rolling off of him.

"People're s'posed to die falling from that height... so I take it you're the boss? Hang on..." Shigaraki says, looking at the man. "You... You're the one in those detnerat commercials!"

The man looks up at the two. "I suppose... you missed my question earlier..." The man seems to grow in size.

"Were you always such a hulk?" Shigaraki asks.

Kivi sighs, grabbing Shigaraki's arm. He looks to her in disgust. She rolls her eyes and gives him a bunch of extra energy, making him grow a few sizes bigger.

"That's all the help I'm gonna give you," Kivi says. "I'll handle everyone else."

"And who might you be?" the boss asks.

Kivi turns to the large man. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She then dashes off.

"Tell me, Detnerat... How're you feeling right about now?" Shigaraki asks. "Crappy, I bet. Your plan was to let the masses do the fighting while you sat back in your comfy tower. You thought we were beneath you, so you set up this city and sent your mob after us... Never, ever expecting us to get this far. Noooo... not scum like us. But here I am and I've knocked you down a peg. So let me ask ya, how's that feel?"

Kivi manages to head back towards Dabi and Compress, helping out where she can. Machia makes his appearance and runs straight through and destroys anything in his path as he heads straight for Shigaraki.

Shigaraki manages to power up and create a giant crater, diminishing anything around him from the place he used his quirk on. It spreads and ruins over half the city in a crater.

Kivi quickly floats the villain members off the ground, so they don't get disintegrated. The liberation boss managed to cut his feet off before his whole body was disintegrated. He admits defeat and hands the ownership of the liberation army to Shigaraki.

Shigaraki is now the leader of a very large and powerful organization. Well fuck.
