Kivi skids to a stop in front of the preschool, bursting inside in clear panic.

Kivi shouts.

This obviously startles the front desk lady. "Little A-Akiba was picked up by Mayu-san."

"Did she pick up her son?"

"She came earlier and got him before coming back and saying she was getting Akiba too. She told us you called her to pick him up."

"Did Akiba act strange?"

"He was screaming that her aura was wrong."

"Why didn't you listen to him?!" Kivi shouts.

"Children pitch fits all the time, we figured he just didn't want to leave yet."

A pulse of energy blasts off of Kivi in every direction, destroying whatever it touched. Her eyes glow purple as she snarls at the woman.

a demonic sounding Kivi growls.

Aizawa wasn't far behind Kivi when she raced out the classroom. He makes it to the preschool, heading inside through the now broke windows and activating his quirk to use against her.

But he's too slow, Kivi already has him in a bubble.

Kivi grabs the woman by the throat, lifting her off the ground as Kivi begins to float.

"Kivi!" Aizawa shouts, pounding on the bubble with his fists. "Don't!"

"My name isn't Kivi."

"Lunox, please! We'll get him back! Don't take it out on this preschool worker," Aizawa pleads.

She drops the woman, who takes a deep strained breath and grasps at her neck. She turns to glare at Aizawa. "That little boy is everything to me. As much as I hate it, he's the one important thing that transfers to me from Kivi. No matter how hard I try to rid this problem, I can't. But it's the biggest switch to let me be in control. Tell me what you can do that I can't?"

Aizawa thinks long and hard about his response. The wrong thing could set her off, and he won't get another chance.

The office lady decides to make a move instead and rushes behind Lunox, placing all 5 fingers on her leg.

Kivi eyes and hair stop glowing, and she drops to the ground on her knees. The shield surrounding Aizawa disappears. He immediately puts his quirk to work on the teen.

The office woman's quirk is the same as Aizawa's, accept hers is by touch. Very helpful for when a child's quirk goes outta control during the school day.

Aizawa is beside Kivi in an instant, scooping her up to stand.

She looks up at him, tears welling up, before burying her head into his chest and wrapping her arms around him.

He releases his quirk's gaze on her and holds her in his arms as she breaks down in sobs. "He'll be okay..." he whispers to her. "We'll get him back."

She sniffles. "He's a-all I have, Aizawa... She's c-coming, and I... I-I won't be able to stop her ram-rampage."

"Don't worry. We'll get him back," he mutters, squeezing her a little tighter. "I promise."

Aizawa and Kivi filed a kidnapped child report to the police. Kivi is unable to sense him. His aura disappeared when Toga took him to the rest of the villains. They're all long gone from that spot now. They assume Mr. Compress used his quirk on him. Kivi at least knows he's still alive otherwise she would've felt his death. It's now almost 7 pm.

Kivi was given the job to notify their parents. She sits in a room provided for her along with Aizawa. She sets the phone on the table in front of them on speaker.

"Hello? Who is this?" Rose answers her phone in clear French.

"It's Kivi, mother." She sniffles.

"What is it? Why are you crying? What did you do?"

"Mrs. Quacchio," Aizawa speaks up. "This is Kivi's teacher, Aizawa Shota. I'm the caretaker who's watching over her. You do speak Japanese, correct?"

"Yes, what trouble did my daughter get into this time?" She easily switches to Japanese.

"Nothing," Aizawa replies. "This is concerning your son. He's been kidnapped by villains."

"Kivi?"

"Yes, mother..."

"Are you unharmed?"

"Y-yes..." she sniffles, trying to hold it back as much as she can with all the pain she's going through.

"Good, that's all that really matters."

"Ma'am, your son–"

"He's not important. You just keep teaching my prized child. And Kivi, you're really crying over that mistake? We raised you to be strong. I knew we shouldn't of let you get as close to your brother as we did. We trained you to be stronger. Obviously you need more training as you couldn't even keep your younger brother safe. I thought we sent you to learn at the best hero school in the world? Are they teaching you anything?"

Aizawa looks at the phone is surprise and anger.

Kivi's fists shake at her sides, angry tears streaming down her face. "Mother." She holds herself together, trying so hard not to lose herself.

"You are our prized creation," Rose continues. "Don't waste time trying to get back the mistake." She pauses. "Shota, is it? You need to begin training Kivi harder than the minuscule things you're currently teaching her. She obviously needs more training if she can't even handle one child. She'll never be a good hero if she can't. You can leave the boy for the police to get."

"Do you not understand the place your son is in?" Aizawa says. "He's been kidnapped by the League of Villains. The number one dangerous group of villains in all of Japan. Your son is in a lot of danger."

"As long as Kivi is alright and hasn't lost control of that second quirk, it doesn't really matter what happens to the boy. Her power is an unstoppable force and she needs the training to control it. That boy is nothing compared to her," Rose replies. "I have to get going. I have an important meeting to get to."

She hangs up and the few beeps after are the only sound in the room.

Aizawa now realizes the position Kivi's in in her family. The only thing her parents care about is power. Kivi and Akiba are just things to them. He moves over to the shaking Kivi and pulls her in a hug, making sure to keep his quirk active on her every once in a while. "I'm sorry that you've had to deal with that insufferable bitch all your life."

Kivi returns the embrace tightly. "M-Me too."

Everyone was told to be in their dorm rooms before Kivi and Aizawa returned. They didn't need to crowd Kivi on what was happening. Eri stayed in the teacher dorms for tonight.

Kivi heads up to her floor, ignoring all her cats once she arrived. She shuffles into the room and heads straight into Akiba's room and sits on his bed. She buried head into her hands.

"Mother was right, how can I ever be a hero if I can't even protect you..."

Aizawa gathers all of class 1A down in the common room to explain what's going on. He knows they care for Akiba almost as much as Kivi does.

A soft knock resounds off Bakugo's door, so soft he almost didn't hear it. He grouchily gets up and heads to his door, flinging it open. Standing before him is Kivi with her head tilted to the ground. He sadly sighs, moving to the side for her to walk inside. She takes the hint and walks inside. Bakugo closes the door behind him and moves beside Kivi to find her shaking and sniffling. Tears well up in his eyes, knowing the reason for her pain. He feels the same way. He quickly wipes away the tears with his wrist before gently pulling Kivi into a hug.

She sniffles, burying her head into his chest. "Dammit...." She circles her arms around his waist with a faint squeeze. "I-I guess n-now... we're e-even–"

"Don't even fucking joke right now. You're in fucking pain and need to cry it the fuck out," Bakugo harshly replies. "Shut the fuck up and let it out."

Kivi resists for a few seconds before it all pours out. "Th-tha..." She harshly sniffles. "...ank you... Katsuki..."

She continues to cry until she passes out in his arms. He lifts her up and gets them situated in his bed before he falls asleep himself.

Kivi awakens from her nightmare to find herself in Bakugo's grasp.

"Nightmare?" Bakugo drowsily asks.

Kivi sighs, turning to face him. She flinches as her quirk gives out Akiba's location being a few blocks away. He is on a corner with Shigaraki, Dabi, Twice, and Toga.

"You know I love you, right?"

"Mhmm," he grunts in reply.

"In a sibling sort of way."

"I figured cause you're in love with that... purple haired bastard from... gen ed," Bakugo replies with a yawn. "Right?"

Kivi can feel her cheeks tinge pink. "Is... is it that obvious?"

"If they have eyes. Shitty Hair and Pikachu owe me money now," Bakugo says. "Pikachu thought you liked me." He laughs. "Shitty Hair was going for half n half."

"Of course you made a bet..." Kivi grumbles. She sighs, moving her hands up to his cheeks. He looks at her confused. "Thank you for caring for Akiba. You really are our brother."

"Best damn older brother you'll ever get."

"Of course." Kivi chuckles, retracting her hands. She moves out from his embrace.

"Where you going?" he asks.

She slides her legs off his bed, sitting up and facing away from him. "I need some fresh air."

"I'll come wit–"

"No, I need some time alone to think."

He skeptically looks at her and sighs. "Don't do anything stupid."

"No promises, Katsu-nii," she replies, standing up.

She quietly leaves Bakugo's room and heads to Shoto's. She knocks before letting herself in and slides onto the futon beside him.

He shuffles and faintly groans, blinking away the blurriness to look at his guest. "Kivi?"

"Yeah... it's me Shoto..."

"I'm sorry about your–"

"Please take care of my cats. You know how to do it."

"What? Why are yo–"

"The League is trying to draw me out," she cuts him off. "I... I don't know what they want with me, but they have my brother. Akiba is my whole world. I can't risk bringing Lunox out again."

Shoto sits up next to her, now completely awake. "You can't be serious."

"Sho, you know how much my brother means to me. I'm going. I only wanted to tell you. Don't tell anyone."

"I won't." He pulls her into a hug. "Be careful and come back."

She nods, returning the hug. "I will." She stands up and heads to the door. "If I don't come back... please..."

"I promise that I'll come get you back."

Kivi releases a somewhat happy sigh. "See ya." She leaves his room and heads downstairs, stopping as she senses Aizawa in the common room. She heads up to her room instead.

"Merow?" Dusk pops his head up from the couch.

Kivi moves over to him and gives him a few pats on the head to which he purrs at. "I'm sorry, Dusk. Shoto will take good care of you. Be good." She heads out onto her balcony, closing the door behind her and flying off to the gate of the dorm area.

She doesn't go unnoticed.

"Where are you going?"

Kivi stops flying and lands a few feet in front of him. She doesn't answer, spinning around and gripping his arm to turn off his quirk. "You're not going to stop me."

"I heard about your brother," Hitoshi says. "Floaty girl told me all about what happened, figuring I needed to know."

"I'm going."

"I don't think you should go," he continues.

"You know how much Akiba means to me. I'm not going to let this fly. They're luring me out."

"I'm not gonna let you go. You know it's a trap."

Tears begin to form in Kivi's eyes. "I know."

"Then don't go."

She knocks him to the ground, leaning over him. "I can't let anyone else I love get hurt because of me. Shoto, Katsuki, Eri, Aizawa, Ochaco, my other classmates, and especially you! I came to this school because I had to! I came to this school to be put under watch and make sure I didn't go out of control again! I came to this school for one thing and that was to become a hero and protect my little brother from my parents. I didn't plan on making friends! And I certainly didn't plan on falling in love with you!"

"You're... you're... y-you love me?"

"...Yes."

"You..."

"I love you."

"I–"

"I'm sorry. Please don't tell anyone of my whereabouts," Kivi says, eyes becoming cold. "But I have to do this."

She pulls her arm back to move into a punch. Hitoshi squeezes his eyes shut, bringing his arms up defensively. She punches the ground beside him, making a crater appear. She holds it there for a few seconds before hurriedly getting up and running off to the gates.

Hitoshi opens his eyes and quickly gets up. "Wait!"

"Looks like they've updated security." She absorbs the energy around her, killing some trees in the process, and grows to the size of Mt. Lady. "That's not gonna stop me!" She bursts through the gates after a bit of struggle, and shrinks back to size to quickly squeeze through.

"Kivi!"

Kivi turns to the voice as the gates begin to reclose themselves, seeing Hitoshi on the other side. "I'm sorry, Hitochan. Je t'aime."

"Ki–"

The gates slam shut as the sirens continue to go off, alerting the whole school.

Kivi sighs, wiping away her tears, then quickly flies off in her brother's direction.

"Ugh! When is she gonna get here! I'm tired of waiting!" Twice groans in annoyance. "Patience is key!"

"She'll be here," Shigaraki says, arm resting around Akiba's shaking form.

Covering Akiba's mouth is a piece of duct tape to keep his whimpering down. His arms are tied behind his back.

"How do you know?" Toga asks. "I'm sure she's asleep."

"There's no way she's sleeping when the person she cares about most is in danger," Shigaraki says.

"If you say so!" Toga shrugs.

They're all suddenly surrounded in shields.

"See, I told you she'd be here."

Kivi floats down to the ground in front of them, eyes blazing and livid. "Tell me why I shouldn't just put an end you right now?"

"Well, heroes don't do that. Only villains do," Shigaraki grins. "Besides, your little brother has a little something special implanted in his body. Just a little bomb, that will indefinitely kill him." He flashes a device in his hand. "And I have the trigger here."

He presses the button and after a few seconds Akiba explodes into a millions pieces.

"Akiba!"

Shigaraki grins, tilting his head and watching her with amusement. He cackles evilly. "There you go."

Her body shakes and cracks form all along her skin, purple emerging from underneath. Her skin disappears and glowing purple completely takes over.

Immediately standing before him is Lunox in all her pissed off glory.

Lunox grabs Shigaraki by the throat. "I'll make sure to do it slowly and painfully, so you'd wish you were dead."

"Chill out. I'm... just a clone... Besides... that... that wasn't really him..." She drops him and he gasps for air. "...and if you had your head on right you–" He inhales sharply. "–would know that."

Lunox looks angrily down at the puddle of goo that was one of Twice's clones. "Where is he, and what do you want with him?"

"Don't worry, Mr. Compress has him snugly confined in one of his little marbles. We don't want him, we wanted you, Lunox," Shigaraki says, dusting himself off. "And the only way to bring you out is when something happens to the boy. We want you helping us."

"Fine."

"You–wait, you said yes?"

"As long as I have the real Akiba with me."

Shigaraki grins. "We can arrange that. Welcome to the League of Villains."

"It's about time for my true calling."
