"Hey! Alia did you just see the new boy? He is so cute and so hot altogether." Shouted Alice.

"Umm... no. And I'm not interested too because I still have my internship project left. I don't know what what will Mr.Derik say? I can even get suspended for this. I'm really tensed." Said Alia.

"Okay. Do your assignment. I'm just leaving I need to reach to my appartment it gets dark. By the way how will you return home?" Said Alice.

"I'll call up my uncle and just tell him to pick me up from the campus gate." Said Alia.

"But it'll soon get dark and you need to cross the boy's appartments to reach upto the campus gate." Said Alice.

"Its just fine and not all boys are bad you know." Said Alia.

Alice nodded in agreement.

"Okay then see you tomorrow in class. Bye." Alice bid good bye.

"Yup bye." answered Alia in return.

She was left alone in the big lecture room. She looked outside and saw all the students laughing and talking and enjoying outside. She had wasted her time alot and so had to stay back that day and complete her pending works.

She slowly started walking towards the library. She passed through a corridor and then entered another corridor which was completely deserted. Suddenly she heard footsteps coming from her back. She got stunned as during that time no one used to go in that corridor as it was evening time and the time when everyone used to return back deserting the university's Economics department.

As she looked back, she saw a guy in an orange jacket and having a bege backpack.

By seeing her, he started walking faster with bigger steps and went towards her.

He said in a hurry," Thank god you were here. I was almost lost. Can you just tell me where is the staircase and exit from this building? Actually I'm new here and this is my first day so I got a bit confused."

"I don't think even if I tell you then also you'll be able to find the exit. It took me a whole month to just learn where the staircase is and you are saying that its your first day today. But I can guide you till the exit." Said Alia.

"Yup sure it'll be of great help." answered he reluctantly.

They passed through that corridor and then took a left turn which led to another corridor and then they got into a very narrow corridor which led to a hallway which had many doors. Alia went to one of the doors and opened it. The door lead to another long corridor and they passed through that corridor to a small café and exited that café through another door which led to a spiral staircase.

"So this is the staircase." Said Alia.

"I think it'll take year for me to learn where the staircase is." Said the boy.

"You just walk down to the ground floor and you'll get to the main entrance of the building." Said Alia.

"Thank. If you weren't there then I think I would have remained searching for the exit all my life. By the way looks like you're Indian" Then he slowed down and said," Or... may be not."

"Yup. I'm from Indian origin and both my parents are Indian." Said Alia.

"Oh! Nice meeting you. Good Bye." He said so and went down with a hurry.

Alia then walked in the library. It was calm and quiet inside the room. A chilly atmosphere was created in the hallway due to the peace and calm in it.

Alia went and took a seat at a table close to the window from where both the inside and the outside view of the library was clear. The librarian was busy reading a book and ignored Alia even after seeing her.

"Hello Ms.Mathews." said Alia.

"Hello. Again you will have to stay back to complete your assignments. Dear why do you always waste your time?" Lectured Ms. Mathews.

"And why do you always read all those nagging love story books?" Alia said with disgust.

"Dear love is something which is the only pure thing on earth." Said Ms. Mathews.

"I feel that you are too philosophical Ma'am." Said Alia.

"As you think dear. By the way do you have a boyfriend dear? " Asked Ms. Mathews.

"Fortunately not." Said Alia.

"That is why you don't know what love is actually." Said Ms. Mathews calmly.

"I feel love is nothing except for distraction and imprisonment." Said Alia.

"Yes its a distraction but a very beautiful one. But why imprisonment?" Asked Ms.Mathews.

"Because you can't check out other guys when you're committed." Said alia by leaving a deep breath.

Ms. Mathews laughed and said," That's a good reason darling. Now focus on your work."

"Yup." Said Alia and looked down on her stuff to complete her assignment.

She had almost completed her assignment when her phone beeped. It was her dad calling.

"Hey dad." Said she.

"Cool darling." Said a man from the other side.

"Yo. How's my mom? I'm doing fabulously here Yo. Yo. Daddy." Said she funnily.

"Your mom and I are fab here except for one thing." Said the man.

"What?"

"We are missing our little joker." Said the man.

"I'll go home next month. Okay now." Said Alia.

"Yup. But next month?" Said the man.

"Actually I'm going slow in my assignments. So." Said she mischievously.

"Alu never compromise your assignments for anything okay?" Said the man. "And yup got any boyfriend?"

"Dad!!!!" Said Alia elongingly.

"Okay. Okay. Bye sweet heart." Said the man.

"Bye dad." Said she.

She finished the work and bid Ms.Mathews good bye and walked out from the library.

She was walking down the staircase when she remembered the face of the new guy.

"He's cute indeed." She said to herself and smiled.

She walked away and to the campus gate where her uncle was waiting in a car.

She got in the car and her uncle drove the car away to his house in London.

She opened the door of the house while her uncle came back after parking the car. As she opened the door, she saw both her dad and mom sitting inside the house.

She quickly ran to her dad and hugged him tight with a big joyous smile on her face.

After her hug was completed, she broke the hug and started to hit him on his shoulder and sat down on the sofa with a frown on her face.

"What happened to my Aloo ka paratha han? Why is she sad?" Asked her father dramatically.

"I'm not sad. I'm hell angry on both of you. Both you and mom. I hate you both. I'll never talk to you again. What kind of a surprise is this huh?" By saying so she got up from the sofa and looked at her family and laughed out loudly.

Alia was lying on her bed with her eyes wide open. She decided to doze off so she turned at one side and closed her eyes. The very next moment a glimpse of him came infront of her eyes.

She immediately opened her eyes and sat up on her bed.

"What has happened to you Alia? Why are you thinking about that guy? Do you like him?" Said Alice excitedly.

"Don't know. I simply don't know may be." Alia said with a serious face.

"Whatever but he's damn hot. He is so cute. I would surely fall for him. You talked to him yesterday in that desserted corridor? How romantic." Said Alice dramatically.

"By the way are you going to Jai's party tonight?" Asked Alice.

"Yup. Who is not going after all it is our dear buddy's party tonight." Answrred Alia with excitement.

"Okay meet you tonight then." Said Alice and left.
