THE GLOSSARY

★ Members = Tributes | The ones who'll be reading books assigned to them.

★ Admins = Game Makers | In charge of handing out tasks to the Tributes.

★ Moderators = Mentors | Who'll oversee whether the Tributes have completed their tasks.

★ Member of the Month = The Victor | The Tribute with the most points for the specific month will have their book considered for the Book Of The Month for the next month.

HOW THE GAMES WORK?

➵ Each Tribute will be paired with another on the 1st of every month.

➵ Tributes will exchange each other's books and read 5 chapters of the book, leaving 5+ in-line comments on every chapter. In case you're paired with a reader-only, another book will be assigned to you by the Game Makers.

➵ Additionally, you must read 5 more chapters of Victor's Book for that specific month, leaving 5+ in-line comments on each.

➵ You can read more than 5 chapters for books assigned to you, earning you extra points as elaborated later on.

➵ The Tribute with the most points for the month will be crowned "The Victor" and have their book be considered as Book Of The Month for the next month.

RULES

The Hunger Games might not have rules but The Youngling Games do!

➵ The Tributes must be 13+ years old.

➵ Books entered must adhere to Wattpad Guidelines.

➵ If your book has Mature Themes then it should be marked accordingly. We also ask for your age (Minor/18+) to ensure you're assigned a book appropriate for your age.

➵ Reader-only roles are available too.

➵ Books entered must be in English as the primary language and have their audience set to Young Adults.

➵ All Genres are allowed. However, we're currently not accepting short stories/poetry.

➵ Books need not be marked as complete. They must be updated frequently and have 6+ chapters posted before you enter.

➵ Discord is mandatory for communication. You'll be asked to submit Weekly Progress every 7 days in the server. The Mentors will send you reminders in case you forget.

➵ You cannot apply for a hiatus for more than 2 months. It is to ensure the book club remains active and does not turn into District 13.

➵ Not following the club rules will trigger a warning and repeated violations might place you in District 13 (our timeout zone).

POINTS SYSTEM

★ For completing the task: +5 points

★ For reading 5 chapters of Victor's Book: +10 points

★ For each additional chapter read from the Tribute's book: +1 point

★ For each additional chapter read from Victor's Book: +2 points
