Marigold's p.o.v
I woke up to be in a different room than my own.Then I remember.Katherine drinking stefan's blood,me telling dad,damon and stefan beating me half-to-death and someone saving me.I got up to open the curtains when a soft voice stopped me."I don't think that is a good idea,love".I turned around to see that man from the forest."Hello and who might you be?"I asked him.I am Niklaus Mikaelsson but you may call me klaus."He said."And who are you?"He asked."I am marigold Salvatore.I am going to call you nik.I said.It really suits you more."I said and he just smiled."Here I suggest you wear this."He said handing me a lapis lazuli ring with a silver band with flowers on it."Thank you Nik."I said hugging him.I felt him stiffen or a moment before I feel him hugging me back.I guess he wasn't use to people being nice to him.When we pulled part we just stared in eachother's eyes.His blue eyes staring into my blue ones.Before I knew it we both started leaning in and he brushed his lips on mines.I closed the space between us and kissed him.After a couple more minutes we pulled apart.When I looked up Klaus' eyes were glossed over."This means you are mine and no-one else's."He growled.I got to admit it was kinda cute.I liked his possessiveness.
"So am I a vampire now."I asked."Not quite your in transition.You have to drink human blood or you will die."He said."But I do not want to kill an innocent human."I said."But you don't have to."He said."But what if I cannot control it Niklaus?"I asked sadly."Do not worry I will teach you everything I know."He said putting his hand on my cheek.He left the room and not even a second later he was back.He was holding a man."You have to make sure the person doesn't have any family or loved ones.I will also teach you how to compel."He said."Ok."I said looking at the poor man.I walked up to him."Concentrate.Think of him being under your control.Just look him in the eye and say what you want him to do."Klaus instructed.I just nodded.
I did as told.I looked him in the eye."I want you to calm down.Do not make any noise.When he removes his hand you are going to answer these questions.Nod if you understand."The man nodded.Klaus removed his hand."Now when I ask you these questions nod for yes shake your head for no.Do you have any family what so-ever?"He shook his head no."Do you have and friends or loved ones?"I asked and he shook his head no."Ok now do not move or scream."I compelled him.I started drinking from him.It tasted good until Niklaus pulled me away."Okay that's enough."He said and fed him his blood and compelled him to forget.
*A couple hours later*
"So tell me about yourself marigold."Klaus said.We were walking in his garden."Well,I was born on september 19,1849.My brothers had to practically raise me since my father seemed to hate me.Me and my brothers were very close until a girl named Katherine pierce came along.Then me and my brothers became distant.All they would ever do was spend time with her.My oldest brother damon was at war when we received the news that he was coming home.That was the day Katherine came.All I wanted was to spend time with damon but it was like I never really existed to him.When Katherine was around I always felt self conscious.I was ugly compared to her."I said."Hey listen to me."Niklaus says hold my face in his hands."You are a very beautiful woman.She must be nothing compared to you."He said."Thank you Klaus."I said then kissed him on the cheek."One time I saw Katherine drinking stefan,my other brother's blood and I told my father.At first he slapped me because he did not believe me.So when my brothers found out they said that I made them miserable and they wished I was not my sister and then th-they beat me half-to-death."I said sadly.
By the end of the story I was crying in Niklaus' shirt while he was holding me whispering that everything was gonna be alright.That day he told me all about his life.We had a lot of things in common."You know what I noticed."Klaus asked."What is it?"I said."Two things.One:you smell different than a normal vampire.Two:You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met."He said and on that last sentence I was blushing like crazy.We went to see a witch and she said I was part siren,werewolf,witch,and vampire hybrid and I had great power.When we got home I saw a blonde girl sitting in the lounge room.I later found out that she was Nik's sister and we got along very quickly.The rest of the day was spent knowing each other.It was a good day.
