Little six year-old Izuku clutched on her grandfather's back, hiding behind him after she saw  two older boys. The two young boys stared at her curiously.

"Who is this girl, Pops?" 10 year-old Hari asked, purely interested to know about the shy girl. Pops smiled at the kids and ruffled Izuku's curly hair.

"This little one here is my granddaughter, Chisaki, Kurono. Her parents... My son and my daughter-in-law passed away in car crash a few days ago..." He paused there before looking at his granddaughter back. She was still clutching on him, lips quivered from nervousness.

"In other words... You are going to take care of her now...?" Kai started. Pops nodded his head in agreement.

"Come on, Izuku. Don't be shy. Say hi to Kai and Hari." The middle-aged man gently pushed her forward. Izuku started bursting into tears when he did that. "Waahhh!!!!" Her cries echoed in the entire hallway.

"Granpa!" Izuku hugged his leg immediately, feeling scared to face the two new kids she met. Pops sighed in defeat. He ruffled her hair in pity.

"I hope you don't feel offended with her behavior. She has gone through too many hardship..." Pops apologized. Hari stared at her sympathetically, while Kai resulted to silence.

Izuku was sitting in the living room, quietly staring at her All Might plush, the one her father gave to her as birthday present. She hugged the plush close to her chest, tears rolling down her chubby cheeks.

"M-Mommy... Daddy..." She sobbed in misery, missing her deceased parents.

All of a sudden, someone wiped off the crystal liquid trickling down her face. The warmth of this person's hand shocked Izuku. She looked up to the said person. Hari was standing before her, a smile decorating his face.

"It must be painful... To get through this hardship by yourself... But, everything is fine now." Hari tried to give her words of encouragement.

The arrow-headed boy sat in front of her and brushed off the tears. "Pops is here for you. He will surely take good care of you, Izuku." He grinned from ear-to-ear.

"And you know what? When you join Shie Hassaikai, we are one big family. Pops, Kai, you, me and the others are all family here. So don't feel scared to talk to us." Hari ruffled her hair lovingly, closing his eyes in joy while grinning widely at her.

"Hari... Izuku... Are family?" Izuku tilted her head in confusion. "Yeah!" He earnestly answered.

Izuku's eyes sparkled with realization. Her emerald irises glimmered brightly. A small smile slowly laced her cute face, her tears had stopped flowing down.

Seeing her reaction, Hari mentally sighed in relief. He was glad the girl had stopped crying. Gently, he picked her up. Izuku squeaked in surprise.

"Yosh, now why don't we go out for a little walk? Or you wanna go to the park?" He asked her in friendly tone.She shyly nodded her head in happiness. "I want to go to park!"

It was nighttime, and everyone just finished eating their dinner. Kai was in the library, reading a book. Izuku was peeking at him from the door, eyes sparkes with interest.

Kai was too immersed in his reading, while his mind recalled his conversation with Pops. He couldn't stop thinking about it.

"She is... Quirkless... A girl who is free from the illness..." He murmured under his breath in amazement.

Kai closed his book and walked toward the door. Izuku began panicking. She was about to run away from there when she tripped on her foot, falling face-planted on the floor.

Hearing the loud thud, Kai stormed out of the library. He was shocked to find her laying on the floor.

Slowly, Izuku got up. Tears flooded her big eyes again. She burst into tears when she sensed the painful sensation on her bleeding knees.

Kai rushed to her side immediately. He observed her condition in complete worry. "Your knee is bleeding..." He mumbled.

"I-It hurt...." The cinnamon bun sobbed as she wiped off her tears. Kai narrowed his golden eyes in determination.

"Stay still for a second. This may hurt you a little... Please bear with it." Kai placed his palm on her bleeding knee. Izuku hissed when she felt intense pain in her knee.

Several seconds later, the pain disappeared. Izuku stared at her knee in shock. The bleeding had stopped, and the injury was healed!

"This is the work of my Quirk... I hope you don't mind.." He spoke up flatly.

Izuku looked up to him in awe. "Kai... Awesome... Kai is awesome!" She giggled gleefully as she clapped her hands.

Kai was a bit stupefied with her reaction. Here he thought she would get scared like earlier. But his guess was wrong.

Izuku suddenly held his bigger hand with her smaller one. She studied his hand quietly, before lifting up her head back. "Kai... Izuku... Family... Right?" She asked.

Kai stared at her in disbelief. The once timid girl was holding his hand bravely.

A smile graced his face. He patted her fluffy head softly. "Yeah, Izuku." He agreed, making her smile widely.

The brown-haired boy picked her up. She wrapped her small arms around his neck and nuzzled her cheek with his. "That's tickle." He chuckled heartily. Both of them giggled in glee, happy to be with each other.

Izuku's POV

I opened my eyes slowly when I heard a loud thud. I scanned the whole surrounding.

This is... My room...

I seated up myself in my futon. I was still trying to process everything that happened... Including the dream I had.

That dream... That memory...

It was around the time I first met Hari... And Kai...

When I recalled their name, tears suddenly fell from my eyes. I couldn't bear this pain in my chest, after I realized what they had done to Eri... And me...

All this time... They lied to me. Hari, Kai, Setsuno-san, Nemoto-san, Rappa-san... Everyone...

Behind my back, they showed their true colors... And torture Eri...

Why did you guys do this to me...?

"Ya are awake." Rappa-san's voice caught me off guard. I instantly raised up my head, stupefied to see him here. "... Why are you here?" I asked with cold demeanor in my voice.

Rappa-san scratched his head in cluelessness. "I have been watching ya' the whole time, ya' know? Ya' should appreciate that." He stated.

"I don't need you to watch over me. I can take care of myself, Rappa-san..." I said, my voice darkened with what seemed to be... Despair..

I got up from my futon and walked over to my yellow backpack. I began to put some of my important belongings -- clothes, money, identification card, phone and everything else -- into it.

"What are ya' doing?" The curiosity in Rappa-san's voice echoed in the room. "... I want to run away from here." I said emotionlessly.

"Wait, what?"

"You heard me. I won't repeat it anymore."

Rappa-san let out a growl of frustration. "The hell are ya' thinking? That won't sol—"

"I know Kai and Hari very well... Too well, to be exact. Kai... Once he planned something, he wouldn't stop. Plus, he would do anything to achieve his dream. Even if I tried to reason with him, he won't listen to me. Hari... Well, he would always agree with Kai. Never argue with him. So my effort will be futile." I explained my reason in long details, hoping this would quiet him.

"If running away is the last thing I can only do... Then I will do it. I will do anything to save Eri." I exclaimed strongly, my trembling teeth gritting. Just remembering them was enough to enrage me.

"...."

When I was about to turn around, Rappa-san slammed his big hand beside my head. He lowered his head close to my face. I could sense seriousness lingering in his unexpected rough action.

"Ya' know what? One thing I like about ya' is you're not an idiot. But right now you're being an idiot, Young Lady." Rappa-san husked out while I looked away from him.

"... I understand your feelings... I care for ya'... But this ain't the right thing to do."

"... Um, can you step back, please?" I didn't bother to reply to his statement, though deep down inside I actually agreed with him.

Rappa-san didn't budge, which of course ticked me off. I tried to shove his huge body away, but urgh, he was too strong!

He roughly hold my hand when I had lowered my guard down. I looked up to him with teary eyes, begging for his mercy.

"Please, just please... I-If you truly understand my feelings... And care for me... Please respect my choice. let me leave this place... Let me save Eri..." I begged desperately.

My whole being was shaking, my heart was sinking in sadness. I looked down to the floor again, tears fell from my eyes.

I heard Rappa-san sighing deeply.... Before he released me from his grip.

"Tch, fine." He reluctantly agreed, averting his gaze from meeting mine. I was pretty much surprised with his obedience, but quickly regained my sense.
I wiped off my tears ans sling my back pack on my shoulders. "Thank you, Rappa-san..." I thanked him along with a sad smile.

"You are really kind. Thank you again... For everything you have done for me." After I finished saying that, I exited my bedroom, rushing to somewhere else...
