Chapter 39
Shie Hassaikai underground facility,
Morning...
Mirio's POV
Ouch ouch! Dang, that punch did a great damage on me.
Hold on, this is no time to whine! Chisaki hasn't been defeated yet!
I guess it is time to use that...
Carefully standing up on my two feet back, my icy blue eyes locked on my enemy ; Chisaki. He looked very desperated and frustrated when his attack was once again cancelled by that girl Midoriya.
She is strong at defence... But I don't think she is strong at offence. Then, I need to help her.
Blueish lightning emitted around my body, as I focused the flow of my new power; One For All. My conversation with Nighteye and All Might a few months before echoed in my mind.
I never expected to be chosen as All Might's successor! This power he passed down to me, is really strong...
I can use this Quirk at 100%, but I only use One For All during work study or mission. Mostly, I use my own Quirk, Permeation during practical class, exam or lesson. Well, it is because I don't really want to stand out because I have a second Quirk.
None of my friends know about my second Quirk that I got from All Might. Both my mentors asked me to keep it secret from everyone, including my own parents. It is to guarantee my safety.
I charged myself toward Chisaki who was distracted by Midoriya's power. Aware of my presence, he resorted to panic action. But he was too late and didn't make it in time to create spikes or wall to stop me. I was already in front of him.
"AHHHHH!!!!!"
I let out a battle cry before landing a heavy, strong blow on his face. Chisaki was sent flying across the room. His body went through the first wall and stopped at the second wall, slowly sliding down lifelessly.
But he was still conscious.
This man is really stubborn. He really won't give up, huh? This is going to take a while.
I shifted my gaze to Midoriya, Eri and the two yakuzas who were protecting them. The wings on her back hadn't disappeared. In fact, the light emitting from the giant angel-like wings shone brighter than before.
If Midoriya's Quirk cancels the Quirks around her, then I have to keep a distance between us. Can't get close to them.
"Lemillion! Watch out!!!" Midoriya's scream of warning snapped me back into reality. I turned to my front and giants spiked were charging toward me.
Crap!!
Before I could comprehend the situation, Midoriya appeared before me at the speed of lightning. She wrapped her arms around my body and the wings surrounded us. I could hear the spikes crumbling to little pieces.
She is so fast—
All of a sudden, I felt my body burning from inside. Pain-filled whimpers escaped my mouth as I tried to fight back the hurtful sensation.
What is happening...?
Izuku's POV
When I heard Lemillion whimpering in pain, I gasped in horror. I immediately deactivated my Quirk, which caused my wings to disappear. I held the hero gently, staring at him in worry.
"Le-Lemillion, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!" I asked almost shouting at him. He shakily looked up to me, a small smile spread on his face.
"I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me, Midoriya." Lemillion grasped my forearm to assure me. I released him from my hold and darted my eyes to Hari, Shin and Eri.
I stared at them with seriousness clouding my feature. The two yakuzas were hesitant, but they nodded their heads, unwillingly agreed with my idea. Our brief conversation echoed in my mind.
"Hari... Shin... I beg you, get Eri far away from Kai..." I told the two men without asking their opinions.
"But Izuku, how about you—"
"You don't have to worry about me. I will stay here to help Lemillion. You two run away with Eri. Go to the heroes. It will be much safer." I cut off Hari's sentence, not wanting to hear his remarks.
"Young Lady... We can't leave you here." Shin was also stubborn. I clenched my jaw before standing on my two feet again.
"I don't want to put all of you in danger. So please... Please, Hari, Shin... Please leave this place." I clenched my fist.
"Neechan, don't go there! Come with us!" Eri cried out, but I ignored her cries. I didn't want to run away from Kai anymore. I had made up my mind... That I will fight him, and defeat him!
"Sorry... Eri."
With that, I stormed toward Lemillion.
".... Lemillion, I want to do something for me." I spoke up again after a few moments of silence. He tilted his head.
Kai can heal his wounds with his Quirk. Lemillion is fast, but Kai is fast too. If he finds an opening, he will heal his wound so Lemillion has to fight him from square zero again.
So... I will be the one to do it.
I will end Kai.
".... I want you to go... And protect those three... You can leave Kai to me."
My eyes suddenly flashed bright red. And as soon as I echoed those words, I was consumed by pitch black darkness.
I gasped in shock when this happened.
Why... Can't I move?!
Someone clamped their hands on my eyes. I was really astonished by this person's action. "What are you doing— LET ME GO!!"
"It is time for you to go to sleep... Rest assured, I will be the one to end that person..."
Third Person's POV
"Mido...riya...?"
Mirio uttered her name in confusion when she suddenly went silent. The girl ignored him, and proceeded to stand up. She turned her heels, walking toward Kai's direction.
Seeing her, Kai was alerted. He placed his palm to the ground, causing it to quake. Spikes appeared and chased after Izuku at the fastest speed ever.
But to no avail... They shattered into thousand small pieces like earlier.
Izuku's eyes were no longer green, but as red as blood. Her aura was different too. Dangerous, murderous vibes radiated from her body, as she shot a death glare to the brunette.
For the first time in his life, Kai was shaking in fear. He fell on his bottom, while his golden eyes locked on the girl. She dangerously made her way toward the man... Who stole her innocence.
A smirk curved on her plump lips. Mirio could only watch from afar, worry filling his eyes. But then, he remembered his mission.
'Is it okay to leave her with Chisaki...?' But he couldn't make up his mind. He then decided to go to the yakuzas and Eri.
".... What is wrong, Chisaki? You are not going to use the spikes again?"
Izuku asked in cynical tone, creepy laughters echoed through the room. She was finally standing before the scared yakuza leader.
"I-Izuku... Sweetie, what are you—"
"Stop calling me with those pet names. It is disgusting, okay? I hate it the most. Wait, no... I hate you the most. "
Izuku looked down to Kai, her smile was replaced with a look of disgust mixed with killing intent. She picked up a concrete shard that had sharp tip.
Out of the blue, Izuku slashed the shard on her wrist. Kai was flabbergasted, wondering why she did that. Has she gone insane?
Blood oozed out from the deep cut, yet Izuku didn't waver. She kept her gaze on the man before her, memories from that night he ruined her flashed before her eyes.
"You are... The worst. You abused a little girl... You manipulated, tricked and lied to your subordinates who hold strong loyalty to you... But one of your biggest sins is... You ruined Izuku."
At this rate, Kai was speechless. Why the hell Izuku would say her own name, as if she was talking about someone else?
"Well, at least she still has some people supporting her. I'm glad she didn't get pregnant or attempting to kill herself. Nonetheless..."
Without warning, Izuku shoved Kai to the ground before she sat on him. She grasped his neck with her left hand.
"You need to be taught a lesson, Chisaki."
Holding out her bleeding right arm in front of his face, the blood fell into Kai's opened-mouth. From one drop to another. He gagged, feeling disgusted with the taste of the red liquid. Many blood dropped into his mouth
"Swallow, Chisaki."
Out of fear, Kai unwillingly swallowed down her blood that dropped in his mouth.
"ARGH!!!!!"
A scream of pain erupted through the room. Kai felt like his body was on an extremely hot fire, burning his inside. He squirmed on the ground, as if he was possessed by a devil.
Kai couldn't fight back the pain. Tears flowed down from his eyes.
"Izuku, please- make it stop! Stop this! It hurts—"
His sad plea broke into another scream of agony. The feeling felt like his inside would explode.
Izuku didn't say anything, just watching him struggling with the pain. She silently picked up a large rock and walked back to Kai, who was still suffering.
"... W-what are you gonna do—"
"Sorry, Chisaki... But the next time you wake up, you will remember nothing."
Izuku smacked his head with the big rock brutally, repeating the action over and over again. Kai couldn't fight back, and only gave in to his fate.
Blood gushed out from his head. He stopped moving, losing his consciousness.
'I can't kill you... But, I want you to suffer for the rest of your life. You may don't remember what you have done, but the fear... Regret, the scream of the people you had tortured will haunt your mind... For eternal
Hope you lose your mind the next time we meet.' izuku thought, staring down at the man emotionlessly.
Izuku raised her hand high in air, watching the blood constantly streaming down her arm. 'Whoever that is affected by Izuku's blood... Will lose their Quirk.'
"Guess it is time for me to sleep now."
With that, the redness in her eyes disappeared, replaced with the original colour.
Izuku lost composure of her body and fell to the ground, consciousness fading away.
