Third Person's POV

"I won't let you... Hurt Eri and everyone else ever again!!!" Izuku hollered at Kai in strong-willed determination. The light emitting from her body shone brighter than earlier. Her hair floated in the air while her eyes flashed bright turquoise. She recalled everything Rika told her about her unique Quirk before.

"Your Quirk has no specific form or shape. In other words, the form of your Quirk that it will take depend on your emotions, amount of power, energy and will." Rika said as she scanned the young girl's expression.

"Then, what is the light that come from my body when I activated my Quirk?" Izuku tilted her head.

"That form happen because you still can't fully control your Nullification. But, if you can grasp the right vision of your Quirk, and then control, it will take another form. And like I said before, the form depend on how you feel, basically." The female doctor smiled softly at the younger female.

"Oh..." Izuku hummed in understanding.

"Once you gain decent control of your Quirk, you can also control the flow of the power. For instance, you can focus the power to flow through your arm only, once you can control your Quirk." Rika explained while she wrote some notes in her notebook.

"Wah, really? Then, do you know the range of my power?" Izuku asked again, curious.

"Unfortunately, I can't figure out your rage. But my theory is, as long as your target is in the field of your vision, you can deactivate their Quirk by force." Rika placed a finger on the corner of her lips.

"I see... In my field of vision, huh..." Izuku nodded her head.

The greenette gritted her teeth, her firm emerald stared at the yakuza leader. 'I still couldn't fully control my Quirk. So I couldn't use it frequently. These people near me -- Eri and Lemillion -- may be affected by my Quirk too...' She gulped down her saliva

With heavy heart, Izuku deactivated her Quirk. It would be very dangerous if Eri and Mirio were exposed to her Quirk for a long period. The chance of them losing their Quirk was high.

'According to Rika-san, if people around me are exposed to my Quirk for a long time period, their Quirk gene will gradually be damaged and soon disappear! I can't let that happen!' Izuku's internal voice echoed in her mind.

"Watch out!" Hari warned the three people. Realizing that Izuku had cancelled her Quirk, Mirio hugged her and Eri before evading the deadly spike from piercing holes into their bodies.

They landed quite far away from Kai. Hari pointed his gun to his former boss again to distract him, giving them some time to run away.

"Midoriya, Eri, it is dangerous here so I want you two to run away! Go to the other heroes! It is safer to stay with them." Mirio told the two girls seriously.
"But, Lemillion, Hari..." Izuku was hesitant to leave the two behind. Sure, she wanted to keep Eri safe. However, the thought of leaving Hari behind bothered her. There was a sickening feeling in her stomach that she couldn't erase every time she thought of leaving the very man who was determined who wanted to set her free.

"No, I will stay here and assist you and Hari! I don't want to run away from my problem anymore!" Izuku exclaimed strongly.

All of a sudden, larger spikes made their way to crush them to death. Izuku gasped in shock and forcefully activated her Quirk, but felt painful sensation shooting through her body. She screamed in agony.

"Neechan!" Eri called out for her sister, worried about her.

Realizing this, Mirio pushed the two girls out of the way. He barely made it in time to slip through the ground. The arising hero appeared behind Kai and punched him right in the face, sending him lunging back on the floor.

'I can't... Use my Quirk? But why?' Izuku was confused. Why it had to be right now, of all time?

Kai's eyes widened slightly when he saw Shin walking toward the chaotic scene. "Nemoto, shoot this!" Using this rare opportunity, he threw the small red box containing the Quirk Destroyer Bullets.

Shin picked up the red box. He shoved it into his pocket, reloading his bullets and pointed his glock to Kai. The brunette was perplexed by his action at first, but then he realized the truth.

"You trash! You betrayed me too?!" Kai yelled at his subordinate as he dodged Mirio's hard punch.

"You didn't keep your promise, Young Master... No, Overhaul. You hurt Young Lady in the worst possible way. Do you think I'm going to keep trusting you afterward?" Shin spelt out his thoughts furiously, growling under his breath.

"You there! Kurono! I will handle Chisaki so you go and protect those two girls!" Mirio ordered as he dealt with Kai's attack.

Nodding his head, Hari rushed over to Izuku's side. She was crouching on the ground, body trembling slightly. Eri was trying to help her, but there was nothing she could do. He knelt down beside her.

"Izuku, are you alright?" The silvernette asked concernly. Izuku looked up to him weakly. "I-I'm fine— ARGH!" her soft voice broke off into a horrifying scream.

Shin, deciding to help Mirio, pointed his gun to Kai. He fired a bullet, bit sadly, he missed. He gritted his teeth, not knowing what to do now.

"Just go and help Midoriya! Leave Chisaki to me!" Mirio assured confidently, sparing a smile at the black clothes-wearing yakuza.

Following his instructions, Shin went over to the young ladies. "N-neechan, hang in there..." Eri held Izuku's hands reassuringly, tears leaving her eyes.

"Young Lady..." Shin murmured under his breath in frustration. Hari looked at his comrade, worry clouding his face. This was such a bad timing for Izuku's mysterious sickness to strike her.

Mirio continued to fight Kai earnestly. He had made up his mind. He would never let this heartless yakuza hurt those he was protecting right now. The yakuzas who turned their backs against their own leader, the two unfortunate girls who suffered from Kai's abuses.

"I won't let you lay your finger on them anymore!!!!"

Mirio declared loudly, enraging his enemy. Using all the strength he had, Kai landed a quite strong punch perfectly in Mirio's face. The hero got a little careless since he was glancing at Izuku and the others. The evil male's punch sent him flying to the wall, halting his movement.

Knowing there was a wide opening, Kai touched the ground. Numerous gigantic spikes charged themselves toward Izuku, Eri, Hari and Shin.

The greenette lifted her head up, and saw the deadly attack chasing after their lives. 'I-I have to do something... I made a promise... I made a promise... To protect them!' Her eyes began glowing bright turquoise.

Out of the blue, light brightened up the entire room, blinding everyone's eyes.

Eri slowly opened her red eyes again when she felt something feathery and ticklish on her body. Hari and Shin experienced the same thing.

The three opened their eyes, looking around the room. How shocked they were to seesee big pure white wings spreading wide gloriously on Izuku's back, protecting them from Kai's spikes. the spikes already crumbled into million pieces.

Kai and Mirio were astonished by the occurrence. This was their first time seeing such giant wings that resembled the angel's wings.

Izuku's Quirk had never grown to this extent.

Eri felt someone stroking her silver hair. She rose her head up. Her teary gaze met Izuku's gentle gaze. She grinned a wide reassuring grin.

Izuku lifted her head up. She stared at Kai with eyes burning with passion to rescue the ones she loved. With no fear nor nervousness, she told Eri,
