Few weeks passed since her birthday and she got along well with Nixie, she looked over at group of small people building the new house. She did not know what they were, but they were only little bit taller than she was, yet they could build like that, she slowly walked over to her mother talking to one of them. He was very well built along with a full-grown bread on his face, wearing worker's clothes. 

"Are these my new friends too? They are all short like me." She innocently asked.

"No, these men are here to help build the house for Nixie and the others, they are what you could call dwarves. They live in the mountains and can build anything they can think of, building this house is very simple to them." Nyx explained.

"Yea, we are short but we can be your friends if you want. Each one of us are fully grown up, our race is just very short yet we live for very long time." The man had told her with a smile showing on his face.

"Yea, more friends!" She beamed with joy.

"There is someone I would like you and Nixie to meet, she will be staying with us as well." Nyx said while waiting for Nixie to wake up and meet up with them.

Once both girls were with her, she started to head over to what looked to be a girl sitting up against one of the nearby trees. She had long red hair, her eyes were slit just like Yuu's eyes just these were more feline. She had one tail behind her, moving around while she enjoyed the warm sunlight against her body, she was wearing what looked to be tank-top and pants, nothing that Yuu was used to seeing.

"This little girl is named Kasumi, she is what you could call an Pyro Neko or fire cat if you wish to call it that." She pointed over to Nixie, "This is Nixie your new roommate Kasumi along with my daughter Yuu who will be living in the next house over with me." Nyx explained to the three of them.

"It is nice to meet you two, I hope we can play a lot." She asked before making fames dance around her, she just gave them little fire dance.

Yuu was enjoying the flames, something about fire was something that caused her to be drawn into it. She didn't know if it was just the warmth that it gave off or if it was the color, something about it just caused her to be unable to look away.

She spend few hours having her tail wet by Nixie then dried off by Kasumi, she didn't know if her tails would lost anymore of this. She just looked down at her tail, it had looked to be fine even if she was still worried. She did not know why they both loved her tails so far, she did walk over to her mother that helped brush them.

She always enjoyed having her mother brush her tails or pet them, something about the feeling made her happy. She just smiled before talking to her mother about the day she had with the two other girls. She did know she was glad she had friends even if they needed to focus less on her tails and more on other stuff.

Later that night Yuu had a dream about meeting a woman with long red hair and falling in love with her, she woke up after seeing what looked to be hummingbirds around her. When she looked around yet she was alone in her room. She did not understand her dream and slowly climbed out of bed, heading to find her mother.

There was just something about the woman that caused her heart to move fast, she did not know why. She didn't even know who this person was just that in her dream she seemed to really know her, like she was someone special to her. She just wondered why, her mind just kept trying to figure it all out without any luck.

She knocked on the door few times, waiting for someone to open it. Soon she could see Nyx opening the door while fixing and closing her robe. She smiled up at her mother before going to give her a hug.

"What is the matter young one? Did something happen that caused you to come to me in the middle of the night?" She asked.

"I had a dream and wanted to ask you two about it."

Nyx looked over her shoulder to see that Izzephoss was fully dressed, she just nodded her head before letting her daughter inside. She did know her daughter had the worst timing when it comes to bad dreams, she just took her daughter's hand before helping her over to the bed, slowly placing her on the bed beside her lover.

"I had a dream about meeting this woman, had long crimson hair and strangely weird hummingbirds that didn't look normal. They also looked more well...darker maybe? Scarier than normal ones, also I was older too. I also fall in love with her, I wonder if it means it just a dream or maybe it something that may happen?" She asked, her mind was so filled with questions and no answers to go with them.

"Sometimes a dream is just that, a dream of something your mind made up. At the same time there is an old saying that a red thread connects two people together no matter the place or time nor the circumstances. That these two people will be together in the end, that they are destined to be lovers, they would always find each other in the end. That is how I feel about your mother Izzephoss." Nyx explained.

She looked over at her lover, unlike normally this time she had more of dragon look than normal human being. She had two horns coming from her forehead and slit eyes along with sharper teeth showing. These eyes she loved staring into, these two dragon like eyes that were so perfect in her mind.

"She got horns even in human now?" Yuu asked while reaching for them, slowly rubbing them and playing with them.

"These aren't toys little one." Her words found deaf ears again. "Why do I even try with you, sometimes I wonder how I put up with a little monster like you?" Izzephoss signed before just pulling the girl into a embrace.

"So, you are saying this red haired woman maybe my future lover, how the two of you act like around each other?" She looked up at Izzephoss.

"It may or it may just be a dream, so don't keep too much thought about it. Just like yourself go with the flow and enjoy the life around you, no rush things or they make end up being ruined. It is always best to let the things you need come to you, so how about you spend the night with us?" Nyx asked before rubbing her daughter's head softly.

After Yuu fall asleep Nyx just rubbed her head softly, she gave her a smile before looking over at Izzephoss, there was something she didn't want say in front of Yuu. "Kitsune race, does have a gift for seeing future moments. I do worry about what she had seen, from what I can take it? This woman isn't human and these birds aren't normal ones neither. If I'm not around when this comes to past, please look after her and protect her love." She spoke, showing her fear.

"You don't need worry, because even if I'm only one around to protect her/I will always do my best to keep her safe, after all she's my beloved child as well." She smiled before rubbing Yuu's head causing the small girl to smile in her sleep.

"She is my living proof, that what I can teach her will be passed down to her children. I just hope that I do not fail her in anyway as a mother. I never thought I would have a child, yet I never thought this world would let me. Here is this child full of joy and innocent, someone that cares nothing for herself but others. Someone that always can put a smile on our faces, without even trying." Nyx smiled yet her eyes showed hint of sadness.

"You had your own share of dreams lately, I do not know what they are nor will I force you to share them with me. Just know that, yet no matter what we will face everything together. We will make this little girl's life the best that we can, that is something I can promise you." Izzephoss promised even if she did know that something was being hidden from her.

'Thank you, I do not know what I ever did to earn someone like you in my life. I just glad she has you in her life, someone to always be there for her. Her very own guardian angel even if you are a dragon." She teased at the end before the two of them lay down to sleep.
