{At the Sand}

Days earlier...

Deidara and Sasori flew on one of Deidara's giant clay bird to the sand, planning a sneak attack to capture the Kazekage.

Gaara was able to notice their arrival through was of his windows and used his sand to fly in the air to stop the two akatsuki members.

Long story short, they fought b it since Gaara used too much chakra, he passed out and the 2 caught his then left.(I'm sorry but it's been like, 4 years since I watched the earlier episodes of Shippuden and I don't want to get anything wrong. Also because it's way too long.)

"Gaara!" Kankuro yelled as he tried to get his brother but couldn't. He watched angrily and helplessly as Deidara and Sasori took Gaara out of his reach.

(Also I don't remember whether this was after Or during Gaara's abduction but as Kankuro went to save Gaara on his own, he ended up battling against Sasori and lost due to the poison needles so team Kakashi had to go over to save him from dying.)

{Present Day}

Konan soared through the air using her paper wings. She had her arms wrapped protectively
around Y/n near her chest so she wouldn't fall.

Y/n smiled happily as she saw many trees, lakes, small villages and the sun in the horizon.

"Everything looks so pretty! I feel like a bird!" She laughed.

Konan softly smiled at her.

They had just finished a small mission and are returning back.

"Y/n..we're almost to the hideout."

Y/n nodded before something tiny caught her lavender eyes. Using her byakugan for a quick moment, she spots two—no— three figures. Two were moving while the other wasn't.

The girl deactivated her byakugan to see familiar blonde and puppet with a scorpion tail. Also the cloaks.

Deidara and Sasori.

"Konan! Deidara and Sasori-senpai are back!" Y/n said and smiled.

Konan was about to speak before pausing and lifted a brow. "'Sasori-senpai?'"

Y/n gasped as her face reddens. "I-I meant Sasori!" She stuttered.

(Sorry I simp for Sasori when he's not in that puppet suit. I still like him tho)

Pretty much out of the entire Akatsuki members, the ones who actually got to see Sasori without his puppet suit was Konan, Deidara and Y/n. And Zetsu. (And the only ones to actually know what Sasori looked like before fully turning himself almost completely into a puppet is Konan and Zetsu)

Konan squinted her eyes while looking at nothing. 'That guy...barely talks to anyone unless it's mission related but gets the job done. Hmm...'

"Do you perhaps...like—"

"NO!" Y/n moved frantically before remembering that she's hundreds of feet in the air. She stiffened and stopped.

Soon they made it to the hideout and later, everyone else.
