Kuro gets ready for his first fight against a supernatural entity, a Yokai that manipulates darkness, and needless to say, he is not at all pleased with this. He did all that he could to avoid getting hit by her, as she fired multiple red projectiles at him, and Kuro had to fly out of the way as fast as he can in order to avoid getting hit by them. And needless to say, he is not having a very good time right now against her, especially since his night vision is not working that well against her powers of being able to manipulate darkness.

Kuro, facepalming a little bit, spoke out.

"I need to go up into the air for a little bit. This might get Yukari to notice me, but it's better than dying."

Kuro looked up and flies up as fast as he can into the air, as Rumia then spoke out to him.

"Hey, where do you think you are going? You cannot run away from me like that!"

A sphere of darkness surrounds her, as she flies up into the air in order to try and follow him,

as Kuro flies up and is above the forest, being able to see the horizon in front of him, and Rumia looks at him, as soon as she is able to fly up into the air. Kuro crossed his arms, as he spoke out.

"Geez, you don't know when to quit. Okay then..."

He then held his hands up, and light formed around his hand, as he spoke out to her.

"I guess I'll have to make you quit somehow."

He then points one of his hands at Rumia, and a blast of light fired out from his hand, as Rumia barely got out of the way, although the light did sheer a lot of the bamboo trees down, and Rumia looks surprised at this, realizing that he has the power to manipulate light, which will undoubtedly counteract her power over darkness.

"Oh...seems I will have a much harder time dealing with you, human. But no matter...I always like to play harder."

Kuro narrowed his eyes a little bit, as he then spoke out.

"Try me."

He then made a ring of plasma energy, as he threw it at her, and Rumia got out of the way. But Kuro then flies up towards her, and tried to slash the Plasma Sword across her chest, only for her to get out of the way by flying backwards and avoid getting hit, only for Kuro fire about blast of light from his hand, which she barely avoided with all that she could. Kuro clenched his fists, as he looks at the crazed dark Yokai that he is fighting against, and he then spoke out.

"How am I supposed to deal with this?"

He then flies up as fast as he can towards her, and tried to grab her, but Rumia then dodged the attack and fired bullets made of darkness at him. But Kuro then used his sword to try and slash through the darkness bullets with ease, as Kuro then swung his plasma sword, which made a slash of plasma appear and goes straight towards Rumia, who then got out of the way of the slash.

Kuro narrowed his eyes, as he clenched his fist.

"Amatsu, I do not want to keep on fighting this girl. I need to find a way out of this mess."

Amatsu then spoke out to Kuro.

"Do not worry. I can get Aizen to help you, but only as soon as I check if Yukari is watching. If she is not watching, then you will be safe in the clear."

Kuro snarled a little bit, as he jumped back and spoke out.

"Make it fast."

As he said that, Rumia charged at Kuro, who barely raised his Plasma Sword to try and stop her from getting too close to him, only for Rumia to grab him by the arm and push him backwards, making him crash through some of the taller bamboo trees that are behind him, the impact sort of hurting his back a little bit, but Kuro refuses to let the pain get to him, as he the kicks her back and flies up above her, as he then slashed her from the back. This time he got her and it made Rumia hiss in pain, as Kuro grabs her by the head and throws her away, before firing a blast of light from his hands, which hits Rumia in the chest and hurts her badly. But Rumia did not like this a single bit, as she spoke out to him.

"Grrr...guess I'll have to go a little bit harder on you, human!"

She then charged straight at him, as Kuro tired to defend, only for Rumia to grab his arm and bite him, and Kuro felt it as he cried out in pain at what Rumia is doing to him, an entire mouthful of his flesh about to be ripped from his arm, as he then punched her as hard as he could in the head, which made her let go of his hand, and he grabbed her by the neck, before throwing her away as much force as he can muster, and he then flies up into the air, and tried to charge down at her.

But Rumia has another trick up her sleeve, as she then made a mist of darkness appear in the sky, as Kuro stopped and fell down to the ground, which is also being covered in a dark mist, and it made him began to look around, very unsure and very nervous of what it is that he is going my through. He held the plasma sword on his hand, as he began to turn and spin around for a little bit, trying to see where Rumia will come out at, but he cannot see, and his night vision is not working for him. This is making him a little bit nervous at what is happening, as he is not sure that he can survive against this Yokai, who is his first enemies. But Kuro remained firm, as he spoke out.

"I just got to Gensokyo to get started. I am not dying this early!"

He then began to turn and look around, clearly not too happy with what he has to he going through, as he goes around the area in order to see where she will appear in. But she has not appeared, and it is making Kuro a little bit paranoid, as he held his head a little bit, and a voice spoke out, clearly belonging to Rumia, as she then spoke out to him.

"Hmhmhmhm...do you honestly think that you have a chance against me? You are nothing compared to me! I will chomp on you like the good meal you are for me~!"

Kuro narrowed his eyes a little bit, as he than spoke back to Rumia.

"Try that, you'll eat my sword and your teeth will be shattered. So go ahead, I dare for you to try your luck against me, little gal."

This made Rumia snicker, as she is a bit eager to try and take her chances with Kuro, as she then spoke out.

"Well, why don't we find out then, if you can take your chances with me."

Kuro narrowed his eyes as he clenched his fist, and as he steps back, he sees some blue bright shines coming his way. It didn't take him long to realize what this is, as he jumped out of the way, as blue spheres fired. But the spheres are scattered all over the place, and Kuro had to fit through the tight open gaps in order to make sure that he does not get hit by one of them.

As that happened, green shines appear and out came green spheres that are in a diagonal manner, and Kuro had to move a little bit and tried to get into an open space as much as he can, but Kuro got hit in the arm, which caused a lot of pain due to the attack burning him a little bit. Kuro hissed a bit, as he held his arm, and this time tried to fight back inside of the darkness, and fired a blast of light from his hands and fired it at a random direction. But he did not hit anything, and so he tried to fire again. Then, more and more spheres fired at him, and Kuro suddenly found himself getting hit by more and more of them, and they are a bit more faster then before, and Kuro, finally feeling himself about to collapse, made a sphere of light from his hand and shined it as bright as he can, which diapered the dark mist and showed Rumia with a smug grin onto her face, and Kuro collapsed down to the ground, hurt all over the place due to the fact that he was not prepared for what was about to happen.

Ruins began to laugh and point at him, as she then spoke out to him in a rather mocking tone.

"Hahah...guess you were not that strong at all!"

Kuro snarled, as he shook a bit from the pain, but he still stood up and raised his plasma sword, as he attempts to go and try to fight back against her. But the diabolical Yokai of darkness did not want that to happen, not preferring that he gets to take the jump, as she spoke out.

"Oh I don't think so."

She then summoned a blue beam and fired it at Kuro, who then tried to use his light boats to fire at the beam, but the beam overpowered Kuro's own beam due to the fact that Kuro got hit a bunch of times, and Kuro was forced to move out of the way. As that happened, Rumia appeared next to him and grabbed him by the neck, before throwing him hard into a tree that is behind him, which crashed and broke it, as Kuro went onto his knees and hands. But even so, Kuro refused to stay down, as he tries, even in vain, to at least get up. But Rumia smiled, as she spoke out.

"Heh...I need to admit to you...you are very stubborn. But that does not matter to me..."

She then grabbed Kuro by the neck and lifted him up a little bit, as she then spoke out.

"Because you are going to die by my hands."

She then reeled her hand back and a dark aura covered her fist, as she is ready to land a final strike against Kuro, but before she could do that, all of a sudden, a fast moving grey blur appeared out of nowhere and punched her hard at the side of her head, which made her launch into the air and made her crash into a bunch of trees. Kuro landed back down to the ground again, as he is grabbed by the shoulder, and then, a voice spoke out to him.

"Hmmm...that was quite a nasty fight that you had gotten yourself into, Kuro, and being beaten thoroughly."

Kuro's eyes widened, as he looks up to see that the person who had appeared is none other than Aizen, as he then spoke out.

"But not surprising, since you are new inside of Gensokyo, and this is your first time getting into an actual fight."

Kuro sighed and spoke out to him.

"Guess my powers aren't enough to even make a difference against this one Yokai."

Aizen rubbed Kuro's head and opens his backpack, before taking out the cloak, and spoke out to him.

"Get inside of lord Amatsu's realm so you can rest. I can handle this for you."

Kuro nodded his head, as he puts the cloak onto himself and puts on the hood, as he vanished into Amatsu's world. As that happened, a crash sounds was heard, and Aizen looks and sees that Rumia is about to come back, as he puts his hands behind his back, and he spoke out.

"A shame that she is not as strong as I. Perhaps I should go a little easy on her to make this a little fair."

If Aizen could see Amatsu, he'd have seen him look a bit annoyed, as he spoke out.

"Must you always play with your opponents instead of taking them down and go straight to the point?"

Aizen shrugged his shoulders, as he spoke out.

"Why not. After all...it is not often that I get to see myself fight against someone."

Then, after Aizen is done talking, Rumia is shown to have appeared before him, and she looked a little annoyed, before realizing that the human is gone, as she spoke out.

"Wha...who are you...and where is that human?"

Aizen chuckled a bit, as he spoke out.

"Who I am and what became of the human is not your concern. Besides...I think it is time that someone else takes over the fight for now..."

He then cracked his knuckles a little bit, as he continues to speak out to Rumia.

"And that is if...of course, you are not scared to fight against me."

This seemed to have pissed her off a bit, because Rumia looks at him and spoke out.

"Oh no...I am not going to back down from you, whoever you are! You interrupted my time! I am not letting that slide!!"

She then began to fire beams of energy at Aizen, who simply shrugged a bit at this, before he fired a single beam of energy from his right eye, which overpowered the other beams despite being smaller in size compared to them. This caught Rumia by surprise, as she barely avoided the attack, and she looks at Aizen, who smiled at her a bit, and he spoke out.

"What else do you have in store for me?"

This made Rumia blink, but she snarled a little bit, as she then made the darkness appear all around her and Aizen, as she then decided to make her attempt in trying to fight him and defeat him, but unbeknown to Rumia, Aizen is at a league that is far higher and different compared to her own. She then fired red spheres at Aizen, but he simply avoided her attacks without even trying, sidestepping out of the way without worry, all all his hands behind his back, as he fired a beam from his right eye in where the red spheres came from, and Rumia got hit.

The pain that Rumia felt is indescribable; as she only knows of a few people who have strength like that which are far above even her own power, as Aizen then decided to speak out to her.

"Quite a shame, you picked this fight, little girl. I have been watching you for a very long time, along with many of the other Yokais of Gensokyo."

As she looked, she sees images of herself, eating other humans that are powerless and weak before her, as Aizen takes the time to dress her down a bit.

"A desire you gluttonous, low, and pathetic, only wanting to do nothing more than eat humans just because you think it is in the nature of all Yokai to do so. But honestly, it is so pathetic and delusional to think in such a way."

This made Rumia angry at how arrogant he sounds, as she spoke out.

"You think you know anything about me?!"

She fired an attack at where Aizen should be, but then, a hand wrapped around her neck from behind, as he spoke out.

"More than you even realize, little girl."

He then threw Rumia as far away as he could, as she crashed into some trees and got really injured. Aizen walks in front of her with his hands behind his back, as he looks down at her, before he spoke out.

"Do you want to continue, or do you wish to feel more pain."

Rumia, upon hearing this, then raised up a little bit and has a crazed grin onto her face, as she spoke out, maddeningly.

"I want to kill you, for getting in my way!!"

She then raised herself and flies up into the air, and Aizen followed suit, as a golden glow surrounds him for a little bit, and he looks at Rumia, who is in the air, with Aizen crossing his arms a little bit, not feeling impressed at what he is seeing before his very eyes, as he spoke out.

"If you wish for more pain, so be it."

He then has a magic circle appear behind him, with circle being that of a nabla symbol of some sort, an upside down triangle, as a a star is show to be inside of the triangle, as he fired multiple golden beams and spheres at Rumia, and Rumia tried to do the same, but Rumia's own attacks were being overpowered by Aizen's own attacks, tearing through her projectiles as if they are nothing. This made Rumia, however, a bit more crazed for more combat, as she darkens the entire area, and she goes behind Aizen in order to attack him at his back. But all of a sudden, her hand went through Aizen like air, and this got her confused, until he spoke out.

"It seems you cannot truly see the truth..."

Then, a hand appeared and touched Rumia by the shoulders and Rumia looked, only to see in shock that it is Aizen from behind her, which made her looks and see that the Aizen she attacked was just an image made inside of her head, a truth fogged within his mind, as Aizen continues to speak

"...of what you are trying to seek."

He then slapped her so hard, she is sent flying down to the ground and made a loud crash, and Aizen swiped his hand a bit, as a golden slash appeared and fired down at Rumia, who then jumped and avoided getting hit by the attack, and Rumia flies back up in order to resume combat against her new opponent.

"Oh, back for more. How nice."

Aizen said, as Rumia goes as fast as she can at him and tried to fire many blue beams at Aizen, only for him to fly and dodge out of the way without care, as he fired a golden beam from his right eye, which she barely was able to avoid, as Rumia then flies in fast towards Aizen in order to try and grab him. But Aizen grabbed her first and held her by the hand, as his right eye glows golden a little bit, and he spoke out to her in a bored tone, clearly not that impressed with what he is seeing before his very eyes.

"Is punching the only thing you are good at?"

But Rumia then spoke out, as she held her other hand out.

"No, this is!!!"

She opened her hand and fired many blue beams at Aizen, at close range. When this happened, at he blue beams made a powerful explosion when they hit Aizen, who lets Rumia go and the explosion launched her down to the ground, which she crashed into. She looks up in order to see if Aizen looked hurt at all...only to see that he barely looks hurt at all. The only signs that showed that he was hurt in any sort of way is that his body and fade are covered in scratches that did not look that painful at all. Aizen looks down at her, and spoke out to her.

"That's it? Is that the best that you can accomplish?"

Rumia looked stunned, not expecting that Aizen was this strong enough to be able to tank a multitude of attacks from her at once, as he then floats down and looks at her with no fear in his eyes, not being impressed at the way that he sees it, as he than spoke out.

"Then it is perhaps time I show you what I can do."

He then stomped the ground and a golden shockwave appeared, which made Rumia fly up into the air fast, but Aizen teleports in front of her as he grabbed her by the neck and threw her into multiple bamboo trees, which she crashed into, before Aizen went behind her, grabbed her by the face, before flying down and slammed her to the ground without even trying to put effort into it, and she even made a crater appeared below Rumia, as he jumped back, and Rumia was hurt all over, feeling pain from the attacks that Aizen had put her through. But she is not giving up this easily, as she stood up from the ground, and Aizen looked at her, unimpressed, as he spoke out to Rumia at what she is doing.

"Do you still want to keep trying? Little girl, you are outclassed and outmatched. Your strength cannot compared to what I myself am capable of. What makes you think you have any hope in defeating me?"

She snarled a little bit, but she smiled, as she then fired multiple bullets of darkness at him, who then fired every last one of them out of the air and destroyed them without even moving an inch, needing only to move his eye, as Rumia spoke out.

"Maybe...but that is what makes it more amusing, is it not?! The fun will continue for as long as I want it!!"

She then flies in at Aizen, and tries to grab her by the neck, only for him to move to the side, quickly dodging her attack, as he finally spoke out to her.

"Well, how unfortunate for you. Because your fun...is completely over."

He then grabbed her by the neck, threw her up into the air, and fired a beam of light from his eye again, and this time, he adjusted it to simply push her as far away as she can, sending ad far out into Gensokyo, so she does not have the time to try and fight back against him. Aizen stopped, seeing that she has disappeared, as he sighed for a little bit, before he then snapped his fingers, and Kuro returns, the hood of the cloak suddenly off of his head despite the fact that he did not take it off, and Aizen spoke out.

"She is gone now, Kuro."

Kuro looked and sighed, as she spoke out.

"Thank goodness. I thought I was going to take way too long inside of this place."

Aizen nodded his head, as he spoke out.

"Well, that is good. And a change of plans. For now, I will be taking over teaching you how to fight. Because it is very obvious that you are not trained enough, and all we did is rush your training. So...it is best that we continue it as much as he can. And also...I will travel on the road with you, since lord Amatsu also sort of sees that mistake in rushing the training that you have, so that you can get a hand on being able to fight against the other Yokai that are at Rumia's level."

Kuro looked at Aizen and nodded in understanding, as he spoke out.

"Okay. But first, mind that we can get out of this forest?"

Aizen nodded his head, as he spoke out.

"Of course. Come on. I saw a way out of this place while in the air fighting against that Rumia girl."

Aizen then turned to a single direction, and Kuro began to follow Aizen, in order to not lose his the way out and not get lost inside of this place, as he then spoke out out to the Shikigami.

"Umm...Aizen...about this Rumia person...do you think I'll be forced to fight against her again?"

Aizen looks down at Kuro and nodded his head, as he spoke out.

"I have no doubts that you will be forced to face against her again. But when you do, this time we will make sure that you are ready to be able to face off against her. Not until we know that your ability to fight has improved enough to finally be able to take her down without needing my help."

Kuro looked and nodded his head a little bit, as he continued to walk beside Aizen, as he used his left eye to act like a flash light, since it is already glowing a sclera blue color of some sort, and the both of them kept on moving as much as they can in order to get out of the bamboo forest, with Kuro feeling at least a little bit safe next to Aizen, who is now with him in order to ensure that he is okay and well. Kuro looks down and had his hands inside of his pocket, as he then thought to himself at what had just happened.

'I cannot believe this. My first time fighting against an enemy and I still somehow lost the battle, I really need to be more careful from this point on. I don't want to get myself in a position of being killed like this again if this is the last thing I want to happen.'

He continued to walk, but unbeknownst to him, but sensed by Aizen, who he knows is watching them, there is a gap with eyes that is above the sky, and despite the tall bamboos all that they could to block and cover up their position, they are still able to see through it. And it is none other then the Gap Yokai herself, who is able to see them.

Yukari looked at the pair on intrigue, as she sees Aizen leading Kuro out of the forest, as she spoke out.

"Oh...so this Amatsu character is not alone in this, in aiding the boy, Kuro, with whatever their goal for his aid is. He seems to have a Shikigami of his own to also be of use for him too."

Yukari smiled a bit, as she spoke out.

"This has now become much more interesting. I supposed I shall watch over to see what this Shikigami is able to do, especially with Kuro beside him."
