"I must admit I didn't expect I'd enjoy this evening very much" Valeria Richards said as she turned to look at (y/n) Pym.

"Believe me I know. I did hear you fight with your mom about it after all" (y/n) replied with a nod as he turned to look at her as well. The two had left the restaurant about twenty minutes ago and had just stopped in Central Park. They were currently sitting on a park bench.

"Right" Valeria smiled awkwardly as she pulled down her hood and rubbed the back of her head. She held her mask in her other hand. "Sorry about that"

"It's fine" (y/n) shrugged it off. "I was hesitant to meet you too. I had to cancel plans with my best friend"

"Well hopefully it was worth it for you" Valeria said as she looked to the ground to hide her smile. "I know it was for me"

"I had a great time" (y/n) assured the girl with a smile of his own. "So how about it?" (Y/n) started as he put his hand out. "Friends?"

Valeria looked back at him and smiled. "Friends" she agreed with a nod as she took (y/n)'s hand and shook it. "I'll see you in school then?" She asked as the Fantasticar landed silently behind her driven by some robot looking thing.

"You can count on it" (y/n) replied as Valeria smiled before walking over to the car and getting in.

The next morning

"Come on! Just tell me how it went!" Nadia whined as she followed behind her brother as they walked into school.

"It went well" the two turned at the sound of the female voice.

(Y/n) smiled as Valeria walked up to them. "Not going with the armor today?" The girl was wearing Captain America T-shirt and jeans.

"Decided to go with something less threatening" she replied with a shrug. "Who is this?" She motioned to Nadia.

"His sister, Nadia Van Dyne!" Nadia introduced herself with a smile.

"Valeria Richards" Valeria responded simply before grabbing (y/n)'s arm. "Help me find my locker?"

"Sure thing" (y/n) replied before walking off with the girl and leaving Nadia behind.

A moment later they arrived at cthe girls locker. "This is it" (y/n) said before hitting the locker causing it to swing open.

"Not very secure" Valeria said disappointedly. "I'll fix that later" she grabbed the books from inside the locker and put them in her bag. "Shall we head to class?"

"We've still got some time before it starts" (y/n) replied with a shrug.

"So what should we do?" Valeria asked.

"(Y/n)!" The boy turned around and spotted Morgan walking towards him. "I need to hear about your date!" Valeria raised an eyebrow to show her curiosity.

"Guess I'll start introducing you to the popular kids" (y/n) said to Valeria before waving Morgan over to them.

"How was it last night? Romantic?" Morgan asked excitedly as she completely ignored Valeria.

"It wasn't a date Morgan" (y/n) replied.

"You sure made it sound like one" Morgan replied with a smirk.

"Whatever. Morgan this is Valeria Richards" (y/n) motioned towards the blonde who was trying to suppress her laughter. "Valeria this is Morgan Stark"

"The date girl?!" Morgan asked excitedly as she turned to Valeria. "Nice to meet you!"

"It wasn't a date" (y/n) said again as Morgan ignored him.

"Nice to meet you too" Valeria smiled at Morgan. "And it wasn't a date. He's not good enough for me" she smirked.

"You're gonna eat those words Richards" (y/n) replied with a smirk of his own. Valeria shook her head and pushed the boy against her locker.

"You couldn't handle me Pym" the girl kissed his cheek before backing up and letting go of him. (Y/n) just stood there confused as to what had just happened.

"You two are so cute!" Morgan smiled as she watched them.

"I know I am" Valeria smirked before turning to Morgan. "Let's head to class"

"Let's" Morgan agreed with a nod. The two began walking to class with (y/n) following shortly after. This was definitely going to be an interesting year.
