"This is strange" (y/n) whispered to Nadia who stood to his right. The Fantastic Four and the four pyms/van dynes were talking in the living room.

"Stop whispering" Janet Van Dyne said to her son before turning to Sue Richards.

"So where are the kids?" She asked with a smile.

"Franklin is in LA starting college and Valeria's been spending the summers in Latveria the past few years" Sue replied, her disapproval obvious in her voices.

"With her uncle?" Hank asked. Ben Grimm nodded.

"I don't like how much time she's been spending with Victor" Sue worried as she looked at Reed.

"She's always been close with him. More so than even us" Johnny Storm explained as he turned to the Pym/Van Dynes.

"Don't know why anyone with half a brain would hang with someone named Doctor Doom" Ben said as he shook his rocky head. "Seems like a red flag ta me"

"Well his armor does look cool" (y/n) admitted as he shrugged.

"That tin can? No way" Johnny shook his head.

"Nope (y/n)'s right" Nadia replied with a quick smile towards (y/n). "Absolutely awesome!"

"You two really aren't helping" Janet quickly said to the two. "Why don't you go check on the food?" She asked as she pushed them towards the kitchen.

"Yeah yeah we'll stop embarrassing you" (y/n) shook his head before grabbing Nadia's arm and pulling her into the kitchen.

"Sorry about them" the two could hear Janet say from the living room.

"It's fine" Reed replied with a smile. "(Y/n) is actually part of the reason why we're here"

"Really?" Hank asked curiously.

"The food's ready!" Nadia exclaimed happily, pulling (y/n)s concentration away from the conversation in the other room.

"Great. I'll go tell them" (y/n) walked out of the kitchen and looked at the group. "Food's ready"

A minute later everyone was sitting at the table as Nadia brought out the food and put it on the table. "Spaghetti!" She said excitedly she put some on (y/n)'s plate. "How is it?!" She asked excitedly as he started eating.

"Not bad" (y/n) replied with a soft smile. Nadia smiled before squealing happily and hugging her brother. The other laughed at the boys expense as he tried to pry his sister off of him.

"I knew you'd love my cooking!" Nadia exclaimed as she let go of the boy before sitting down next to him. Everyone took some food and started eating.

Sue and Reed looked at each other before turning to (y/n). "(Y/n) we wanted to ask you to do something" Sue started causing everyone's attention to turn to Sue.

"What is it?" (Y/n) asked as he ate some more.

"We've decided to send Valeria to your school. We were hoping that you'd befriend her and try to help her out. She's been homeschooled up until now so she's not the best at making friends" Reed explained as he poured a bit of salt in his food.

"When does she get back from Latveria?" (Y/n) asked as he considered the proposal. He could always use new friends. But he also already had his hands full between his friendship with Mayday and his sister.

"Tomorrow morning. Her first day of school will be your second day" Sue replied quickly. "We were hoping you'd meet her tomorrow night so she could get to know you"

(Y/n) considered it for another few moments before shrugging. "Alright. Why not"

"Thank you" Reed smiled at the boy. "We'll have someone come by the to take you to the Baxter building tomorrow night around 6:00. That should have been enough enough time for her to unpack, take a nap, and get herself ready"

"Oh! Can you send them in the fantasticar?! I've always wanted to go in that!" (Y/n) asked excitedly.

"I want to ride in the fantasticar too!" Nadia said quickly as she smiled widely.

Reed looked at Hank and Janet who both nodded in response. "Alright. One of us will get you in the fantasticar tomorrow night (y/n). Then some other time we'll take Nadia out"

The two teens yelled "yes!" happily before high fiving causing the others to laugh at their enthusiasm.

"You can't drive it though!" Janet quickly said causing (y/n) to groan unhappily. "Not until you have the free time to learn properly"

"Fine" (y/n) huffed before sighing.

"I'm sure if you hit it off then Valeria would be happy to teach you" Reed ensured the boy causing him to nod.

"Good enough for me" (y/n) said as he went back to eating his dinner.

An hour later

"Thank you for having us" Sue smiled as she hugged Janet.

"We should do it again sometime" Hank smiled as he shook Reeds hand. "It's been far to long"

"Definitely" Reed nodded with a smile of his own.

"See you around shortstack" Ben Grimm ruffled Nadia's hair.

"Bye bye Mr. Thing" Nadia quickly hugged the rocky man who quickly hugged her back.

"Where'd (y/n) disappear to?" Johnny Storm asked as he looked around.

"He ran to make a phone call" Nadia replied as she broke the hug with the thing. "To cancel his previous plans for tomorrow night"

Back in (y/n)'s room the boy waited until finally the person he had called picked up her phone. "(Y/n)?" The girl asked. "What's up?"

"Gotta cancel for tomorrow May"

"How come?" Mayday Parker asked sounding concerned. (Y/n) never usually cancelled plans unless it was serious.

"I promised some friends of my parents that I'd meet their daughter" (y/n) replied leaving out the more fantastic parts of the story.

"Ditching me for another girl? Real classy of you Pym" Mayday teased as she held in a laugh.

"Well when you're a Blonde with a flying car I'll hang out with you again" (y/n) replied.

"Wait what?" Mayday asked curiously. "You're fucking with me. Who is this chick?"

"You'll just have to wait and see. Maybe I'll introduce the two of you" (y/n) smirked before hanging up the phone.
