"I don't know about this Alfie..." You mumbled from the other side of the bathroom door.

Alfred was ecstatically waiting on the other side in his Captain America costume. He looked down at his chest and admired all the shiny buttons and soft fabric. He couldn't be more excited! "C'mon doughnut! I'm getting antsy!" He said in a strained whine.

You rolled your eyes unintentionally, "when are you not antsy?" You smoothed out your blue dress, adjusted your red hat to the side, puffed up your white collar, and opened the door.

As soon as he heard the knob click, Alfred's ears perked up and he smiled. He admired your dress and you in it with a wide smile. "You look so hot!"

You blushed and frowned. "The word I was looking for was awesome~" You had curled your hair in the style of the time period, put on red lipstick and mascara, and a little foundation. You wore red high heels and tights.

"Did someone say awesome?!" Gilbert yelled as he knocked on your dorm room door. You opened the door to two demons. Gilbert and Eliza were both dressed as demons. Gil was wearing a black sweatshirt with horns and a tail and Eliza was in a red nurse outfit with horns and a tail.

"Wow _____! You look hot!" Gilbert laughed. Alfred glared at him which made you and Eliza laugh. "Uh... I meant pretty! You look pretty!"

Alfred game him a that's-more-like-it look and wrapper his arm around your waist, pulling you close. "Ready? We have a party to be at!"

You all nodded and were on your way.

The Vargas' restaurant was filled with people. You greeted Ivan who was dressed as the teddy bear he was with a huge hug. "It's good to see you _____," he smiled widely.

His costume was really soft and you could've gotten lost in the hug if you weren't tapped on the shoulder by Arthur who was dressed as Sherlock Holmes. You gave him a large hug. "Arthur you look really cool! Love the costume!"

"I can say the same you and Alfred look very cute together and he looks so happy."

"Bella!"

"Feli!" You turned around and came face to face with Feliciano and Romano and they were dressed as Mario and Luigi! You couldn't help but laugh which made Romano frown. "You both look so funny!"

Feli couldn't help but laugh along with you as Romano's frown was set deeper into his face.

"Oh come on Roma you look adorable!" You wrapped one arm around each of the brothers, this causing Romano to blush. "You both do! Happy Halloween!"

You were pulled away once more by Francis and Antonio. Francis was dressed as a pirate in purple with a long cape and hat. On his hip was a sword. Antonio was dressed as the headless horseman and was holding a pumpkin that he made look like Romano. Safe to say, Romano wasn't very happy.

"Hola _____! You look muy Bonita!" Antonio purred as he hugged you tightly. The Spaniard had a very strong hug although it didn't look like it.

"Gracias Toni! I love the Romano pumpkin it's a nice touch." You giggled. "But I don't think Roma would agree."

"No."

The party was in full swing. Erza and Oliver had arrived. Erza dressed as cotton candy and Oliver dressed as the mad hatter.

You and Alfred started to dance on the 'dance floor'. It was just a part of the restaurant with the table and chairs cleared away. He spun you around, your blue dress flowering behind you. You laughed as they played the monster mash and songs from nightmare before Christmas which you belted out loudly. You and Alfred made an agreement to be Sally and Jack next Halloween for sure. You were having the best time.

"May I have this dance poppet?" Oliver asked.

You sent Alfred a don't-worry-about-it look. "Of course Ollie."

You both danced together, laughing all the way. It was the best until he pulled you in close and whispered softly to you, "you know poppet... Allen's a jerk but he's sorry about it all."

You narrowed your eyes and whispered back, "I don't care, what he did was... Just horrible. I don't think I can ever forgive him."

He nodded. "I understand _____. I'm on your side but he asked me to give you this tonight." He pulled an envelope out of the pocket in his hat. "You don't have to open it, but he wanted you to have it."

You smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Thanks. I appreciate it."

"I'm going to go mingle I think your boyfriend wants you back. Bye bye~!" Oliver basically skipped away to go talk to Feliciano and Erza, they all had a lot in common apparently.

Alfred walked back over with a quizzical look on his face. "What was that about?"

You shrugged. "Nothing." Lie. "He just wanted to say hi." Why did you lie to him?

He raised a brow. "You sure?"

You nodded. "Yeah, now let's have fun."
