???: You and I of course. We're two sides of a coin. I've always been here. And don't bother calling Jagged. He can't hear me. No one can except you.
Scorpius: Who or what are you!?

???: No. Don't be stupid. Let me put it this way now... Remember how Raven had a demon form? A whole different personality under that hood? That's what I am to you.

Scorpius was honestly quite shocked. Was he... Was he really half demon?! How!? Scorpius went over to his nest and leaned against it as he was trying to absorb this new information.

Scorpius: Ok, assuming you're right voice-
(Demon voice): Which I am.
Scorpius: How did I end up being half demon? Develon's doing? Furori's? ...Malefor's?
(Demon voice): No one's. For you- for us, it was one of our ancient ancestors. They were demonic in blood, and the demon gene was passed down until the normally impossible moment of the demon gene becoming recessive. It skipped multiple generations with little to no effect on them. Until you- until us. I wouldn't know all the details. But there's no changing it Scorpius. I am the demon viper in you, keeping you protected and alive. You accept this of you?
Scorpius: ...Is this like Persona or something? It just seems kinda Persona to me.

Scorpius: ...Well, I guess there really no changing that I'm half demon. Alright, but that monster I was is only to be used when absolutely necessary hear?
(Demon voice): But of course! No demon viper form unless necessary! Now we have no "inner demons" of our own! Ha!
Scorpius: *sigh* What a minute. Demons and demon hybrids are immune to toxins and stuff right? Then why does my own fear toxin hurt me!?
(Demon voice): Hm? Oh, that. Allergic reaction probably. Then again Wyrmillions were pretty weak to most sicknesses.
Scorpius: A Wyrm- what?!
(Demon voice): The thing your dream from ages ago tried to tell ya. Your grandfather was the last Wyrmillion dragon once upon a time, but you inherented his gene, so now you're the last Wyrmillion. Why do you think Furori tried to capture us? He obviously knew too much for his own good.
Scorpius: I... I'm the last Wyrmillion? What even is a Wyrmillion?
(Demon voice): Don't you remember your studies? Oh wait, you always did find the "extinct chapter" an absolute bore. Good thing I paid attention.

Scorpius suddenly felt some pain in his head. But it went as quickly as it came. And then... he remembered. He suddenly remembered.

During his first months in training, Jagged taught him not only hunting techniques and kinds of dragons, but now Scorpius remembered they went over the extinct kinds of dragons as well. The trolls went over the extinct dragon types in the event they found the skeleton or fossil of one of these extinct creatures, or in the rare event that they encountered a surviving member of said species. Scorpius thought that the information regarding these long gone dragons was like a long boring lecture, and he ended up sleeping through the talk about it. But now, he remembered Jagged speaking of the Wyrmillion dragon.

Serpentine bodied dragons with winged legs extending from the shoulders, so they had to use their arms to take off to the sky or glide off an island or platform before flying. They died off due to their lack of immunity to sicknesses and their own problem of over-hunting their prey. Scorpius even remembered Jagged remarking that Scorpius looked very much like a Wyrmillion, but the colors were all wrong and never was there a Wyrmillion recorded to have a scorpion's tail tip. Or venom or steel spikes either.

Scorpius: (panting) ...
(Demon voice): Now you remember everything about your blood, don't you? You're welcome, by the way.
Scorpius: So... What about my powers of venom and steel spikes? You?
(Demon voice): Uh, duh!? The colors too, by the way. Demons, even when not the dominant half, have an interesting effect on just about any living being. We turned out brilliantly if I don't say so myself. I mean, not even that witch Raven found out we were demon, and she's got sixth sense and her own demon half for crying out loud! Ha! You can thank my blood for giving you the Wyrmillion gene too. Demons love to be as unique and maybe scary as possible.
Scorpius: Wow! This is actually really cool! So this is what Cliff was trying to tell me about when he mentioned our grandfather. Reckon he knew about my demon blood too?
(Demon voice): ...I wouldn't know, would I? I hated Cliff...

Before the conversation could go any further, there was a knock on the door. Scorpius gasped out of shock.

Don't say anything about me. And I mean ANYTHING.

Scorpius opened the door, but immediately regretted it.

It was a bipedal, long necked, two headed, yellow and red, non-winged... dragon. He- or was it a she?- was as tall as Scorpius was. The red sided head looked like a maniac with his toothed grin and bloodshot eyes, but the yellow sided head looked feminine and was clearly a timid type considering how far she was leaning back her head away from Scorpius.

Red head: Hey! You must be Scorpius yeah?
Scorpius: 😐 Uh...
Yellow head: Please don't kill me please don't kill me-
Red head: Nevermind my crazy sis over there! She's terrified of just about everyone! (Cackles loudly)
Scorpius: 😐 SHE'S the crazy one? Also aren't you technically the same person just split in two at the neck?
Yellow head: W-w-we're a rare occurrence. E-e-extremely rare...
Red head: Yeah! At first it was just like how that kaiju Mothra is born sometimes, you know with twin larvae hatching from one egg? But during our incubation period we became a whole other level of rarefied dragon when we fused together into a two headed Magic breather! (Cackles) Awesome yeah!? 😂
Scorpius: Uhhh, yeah cool, um... Why in Ancients' name are you here of all places?
Yellow head: W-w-we work in Kaos' army...
Red head: Heard ya kill dragons for a living!
Yellow head: J-j-jagged said you m-m-may not like us... me... whatever...
Red head: So I came to meet ya and get ya approval to stay here in person! Wasn't that smart!? *eye twitching*

Scorpius slowly closed his door, making sure Gemi and Gema weren't coming back so soon.

Scorpius: So, um, all that craziness aside... Why do YOU hate OUR own brother!?
(Demon voice): Same reason you hate any dragon. After what's happened to you, I don't blame you for loathing dragons as much as you do. Dragons are nothing but betrayers and scum!

(Demon voice): What? Don't believe me? Here's all the reasons. Your family line purposely forgot that there was a demon member in the family in hopes that wouldn't get themselves killed. That Poltergrin guy met you one day and disappeared the next, breaking your heart waiting for him to return. Ramses, the king of Dragon's Peak, couldn't keep the Undead Army from invading Dragon's Peak that oh so fateful day. Your parents and brother "sacrificed themselves so you could live" which led to your years of torture by Malefor who, fun fact, is also a dragon! Oh, and Sunny and Camo? They LEFT YOU TO DIE even though you called out to them! And Rhudan made friendly with you, but four days later he let himself die and he broke your heart like pretty much every other dragon you meet. Now you find out he was alive this whole time but he never came back to tell you! Why!? Because maybe, just maybe, he HATED you like he hated Malefor! Think about it! Why would a dragon, who was also a slave of that crazy Undead b***h, attack the Anti-claws and then suddenly just "sympathize" with you like that! While still being okay with killing other dragons!?!

(Demon voice): Why else would Sunny be SSSSOOOOO willing to fight you!?!
Scorpius: *groan* S-stop it...
(Demon voice): Face the hard truth of dragon blood Scorpius. Even Develon, a cute and cuddly Bubble Dragon, has the nerve to mock us and the will to break us! Well, we won't allow that to happen. Next time we see Sunny, Poltergrin, Camo, Develon, or even Eteru... THEY. DIE. They call it insanity, but we see it as payback. After all, we're a dragon too. We can play their games just as well...
Scorpius: 😣 St-stop it...*sobbing*...J-just... stop...

Just a moment ago, Scorpius was thinking that having demon blood and power was surprisingly awesome. He could match Develon and Raven, and everyone would have a reason to fear Scorpius for sure.

But now he was doubting everything... everything...

Sun Dragon and Camo DID leave him there... that was fact.

His parents died for him... that was fact.

His brother died for him... that... was fact.

Poltergrin disappeared and never returned just the day after they met... that was fact.

Malefor tortured him for years... that was most definitely fact.

Ramses was getting older and older and weaker and weaker... that was fact.

Rhudan was believed to be dead for years before Develon claimed to have fought him just days prior to their meeting... that was fact.

What was a lie? ...

...None of it...

Scorpius: (heavy, slow breathing)
(Demon voice): Listen kid, I know this is a big heartache for ya. For both of us. Believe me, I've had to live with keeping this information from you for a while now. But don't despair. We can and will bite back.
Scorpius: ...What other way is better then revenge huh?😈
(Demon voice): (chuckles) That's my big boy... And I've already got a plan to finish the Dark Dragonslayer without Kaos' help.
Scorpius: Oh? I'm listening.
(Demon voice): Just ask Ophi which Zodiac Warrior was supposed to be the smartest and tech savvy. Find and awaken them ahead of all the others.
Scorpius: Is that possible? I thought the Zodiac Warriors could only be awakened on the time span of their respective signs.
(Demon voice): Check those scrolls again. I think I caught somewhere it was possible. You know, that thing you "misread"?

Scorpius smiled and chuckled to himself as he got up off the floor, wiped his face, and calmly walked out of his room.

For once, he had a friend that wasn't going to betray him... at all...
