Kwanisha's P.O.V

I'm still in the chair in the dark, gloomy room. I feel like space and time has been paused but is also speeding at the same time. I've tried pulling at the duct tape on my hands and breathing on the duct tape stuck to my mouth to make it lose its stick-ness. The breathing thing worked but my hands were still tied. The piece of tape that was previously on my mouth was now resting on my lap. My eyes have adjusted to the dark now, but it doesn't really help. At this point, I seriously think my dad is at the grocery store, at 10pm, because he somehow hasn't noticed both his children are missing. One possibly committing murder, and the other, tied up in his own house.

I've lost all my hope when I hear someone coming through the hallway. Please don't be CJ, please don't be CJ. But then, a blinding light comes from the corner of the room. The door was open. Two people walked in. I had to adjust to the brightness now, so I squinted my eyes, and it was, CJ's friends? Gregory and Jakob.

They used to be the ultimate trio, Greg, Jake, and CJ. They always had something going on together, it was either sleepovers, night on campus, studying (more like gaming in secret) or running a club. Gregory is leader of the technology and programming club, and Jakob runs the Little Learners paint gatherings for the young 1st graders. He was always the one for children.

CJ had a football club before too, but Greg took over after CJ missed too many club meetings. The cause of this, only I know, was that he was watching too much anime and was addicted to the girls. They saw how much of a simp he was becoming, (he had ordered twelve body pillows of different anime girls and kept getting girls from different places to date him, and not to mention, sneaking into people's homes like HE IS DOING RIGHT NOW) and eventually, stopped talking to him. In my opinion, it was a wise decision. But what were they doing here? Why did they enter the guest room?

'Kwanisha? God, I knew you would be in here' Greg says in relief. 'We figured out CJ's plan. We came as fast as we could!' Jake said hurriedly. They freed me from the horrid chair and told me to wait at the door. 'I saw Jessica running when I was coming, you should stay in case she comes here, we will be nearby just incase' Jake says. I thanked them both and they both left waving goodbye.
