In this episode, L tells the story of the day she licked a rock. Not just any rock--a Stonehenge monolith. And it was wonderful.

Beyond this, Shelly brings her friend, writer and Shaman Jennifer Lyn. Born in the States but raised in Canada, Jennifer has lived all over the world, including in the Soviet Union. She's a natural and trained linguist who speaks five languages. Her most recent linguistic love affair is with Gaelic. Irish specifically.

She's been shamanically active as long as she can remember but started seriously training about 25 years ago. She studied with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies before hearing the call to the Celtic mystical path. That launched her to work with Geo Cameron, Tom Cowan, and Caitlin Matthews, amongst others. Now, she is a Minister of the Circle of the Sacred Earth, a church of animism fostering shamanic principles and practices. She offers healing sessions with clients, teaches workshops in Celtic shamanism and mysticism, and writes mystical fiction.

She is very, very devoted.

She is also a Chinese medicine practitioner and maintains her own healing clinic. She holds Ovate grade with the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids, and Druid grade with The Invisible Druid Order. And you can often find her drifting with the Ancients in stone circles throughout Scotland and Ireland.

As an award-winning, published poet, Jennifer gives voice to her Bardic craft through poetry and prose. Her writings explore the rhythms of life while honoring the Goddess and the Sacred Conversation.
