It all seemed to be going well... that was until things took a turn for the worse... then out of nowhere an explosion occurred that devastated the landscape... with only nine silhouettes still standing in its wake...

-BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM-

(Y/N): Hehehe... oh boy... looks like I'm in trouble this time...

The grassy plain that I had once found myself on was now a barren waste land burned to a crisp... fires rampaged all around me as eight figures closed in on my location...

The next thing I knew is that they all charged me at once. I wasn't prepared for the attacks and was just being knocked around by each of the silhouettes. This went on for a will until eventually a fist collided with my face knocking me away, my body was badly wounded from the multiple hits I've taken. Taking this chance I slowly stood up... with my blade in one hand...

(Y/N):... Is that all you got...

I said as some blood dripped from my forehead... looks like I bit off a little more then I can chew... they all circled around me.

(Y/N): Heh...

The floor then began to rumble... considering the amount of damage I've taken... this could work out for me. All of a sudden an enormous yellow aura began to flow around me.

????: Huh...?!

????: It seems like he has more fight in him...

????: A-ahhh damnit... is he planning on taking us all out?

(Y/N): It's too late!!

Gripping my blade in my left hand I was about to swing my sword sending all of my damage back to them at double the damage.

(Y/N): Revenge Counter!!

Swinging my blade prepared to let my attack all out... that was until...

-CCCCCCLLLLLLAAAAAANNNNNNKKKKKKK-

(Y/N): A-a-agh...

Mid-way through my swing... someone stopped it... they stopped my strongest attack... who you ask.... it was none other then him... Losing hope I slowly fell to my back... it was time to admit defeat. My fate seemed certain at the time... the other eight figures were slowly joining the Ninth one as he looked down on me.

(Y/N): So... this is how it ends... huh... H-Haa... damnit...

I coughed out blood not being able to move.. The ninth silhouette didn't say a word... all he did was reached out his hand...

It's been a long time since I've been back home... how long has it been exactly... a year maybe two.. I lost track of time, but so much has happened so it's understandable.

After traveling from place to place in this magical world, I decided it was time for me to return where it all began for me. That's right I'm on my way to Axel, the place where my life as an adventure started out. I've come a long way since then... heh looking back now it's been a crazy ride, I've met a lot of people, fought a lot of monsters and even made a name for myself, but it's good that I'll finally have some time to rest after all the fighting I've been going throu-...

~BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~

(Y/N):.... Nani...?!

Looking off into the distance where the entrance to Axel should be... I saw a massive explosion appear out of seemingly nowhere...?

(Y/N): No, no, no that can't be clearly Axel is still a bit of ways to go right... it's just been so long that I don't remember well...

Smoke then started to come from the location of said explosion as I start to worry about the state of Axel..

(Y/N): Nahhh I'm just worrying over nothing, I'm going to walk over there and find out that everything is o-....

I then hear what sounded like the cries of many... n-no way... w-what's going on...?

(Y/N): I-I've must've heard wrong right?! I-I mean I-it's still too early for this story to pick up on the action right?!! Come on this is like the first chapter?!

I started making my way towards the sight of the explosion and as I got closer to it I started to feel the presence of multiple people, however theres one that stood above all the others and it was familiar to me. Eventually I saw the great town of Axel and to my shock there was a giant creator, which I guessed was from the explosion and standing in front of hordes of people was none other then...

(Y/N): Verdia...? What's a Demon General doing here...?

All of a sudden water was then poured from the sky on top of him, but at the last second he jumped out of the way avoiding it... however the water that was on the floor then froze trapping him in place.

Verdia: I messed up!?

???: As long as it's harder for you to dodge, that's enough! This is what I was really going for! Steal!!

Shouted out a young man which he was wearing a green cloak that went to his waist. As he reached out his hand activating the skill only for it to fail... considering that when that bright light faded from his skill his hands were still empty..

Verdia: That's wasn't a bad trick.

???: W-wha...?!

Verdia: This just shows our difference in level. Now, then, I'll put an end to this farce.

A blonde haired girl in knights armor then jumped in front of the young man who tried to block Verdia's weapon in an attempt to protect him. Only to be knocked back.. and then relentlessly attacked by Verdia... what am I watching at this point... having enough of this I decided to intervene and stop his attack by jumping in between them and stoping his attack with my bare hand, as I got it the impact cracked the floor beneath us and caused a lot of wind to stir up.

Verdia: W-what?!

(Y/N): Yo!! Verdia!! What's a big shot like you doing in a town full of novices?

Vendia: N-n-n-naniiii?! W-w-what are you doing here?!

(Y/N): Well this place was my home once upon a time... now answer the questions, Verdia... what are you doing here...

I said as I began to glare at him... only to be interrupted by the blonde crusader as she got up.

Blonde Crusader: W-what are you doing?! Get back before he attacks you?! Go and let me take the blow for you!! It would be my pleasu- I-I mean it's my duty to protect my fellow adventurer!!

(Y/N): ~Stare~..... Hooo!!!

With little to no effort I quickly pushed Verdia's blade up, I then back handed him knocking him back and then rushed over to the blonde to flicked her on the forehead knocking here back quite a bit.

(Y/N): Oi, Kinky keep your weird masochist fetish in the bedroom and out of the fight... if he was going serious... you wouldn't be standing here right now...

Blonde Crusader: K-k-kinky?!? K-k-kyaaaaaa~~ H-how dare you degrade me a crusader in f-front of all th-theses people... y-you a stranger... h-huwah~~

(Y/N)/???: Say sike right now!! Huh??

Hearing that we both said the same thing we both locked eyes. I saw a young man with brown hair, wearing a green cloak.

Hmmm there's something about that guy in green that's pretty weird...?

???: O-Oi... who is this guy that came out of nowhere...?!

Male Adventurer ???: I-I don't believe it?!

Female Adventurer ???: I-it's the Black Swordsmen!?!

Male Adventurer ???: We're saved!!!

???: Black Swordsmen...? What are you guys talking about...?

???? KAZUMMMMAAAAA!!!! We don't have time for this let runnnnnnnnn!!!!!!

Kazuma: B-but Aqua!!! We can't just leave Darkness!!!

Verdia: (Y/N)!!!!

A dark aura then started to surround Verdia.... not allowing him to intimidate me, I just stood there waiting to see what his next move would be.

Verdia: You will suffer for what you did to us!! You traitor!!

(Y/N): Traitor? I don't remember ever being part of the Demon Kings pawns... Hmph... oiiii Kazuma was it... I'll hold him off while you figure out a way to beat him!!!

Kazuma: Ehhhhhh?!? Why should I?!?! You were strong enough to block his attack with your bare hands!!! Why don't you beat him on your own?!?

(Y/N):~Stare~....

I gave him the look of disappointment.

Kazuma: O-Oi.... whats with that look of disappointment...

(Y/N): Oh nothing... just gonna let another man clean up the fight you started...

Kazuma: G-gah?! B-b-but I-I wasn't the one that started this fight it was my useless teammates!!!

(Y/N): ~Stare~.....

Kazuma: O-Oi... what's with that look of disappointment... again...

(Y/N): You should have better control over your teammates... incompetent leader...

Kazuma: O-Oi!!! I won't take this from a stranger besides!! These three can't be controlled!!! One useless, the other one is a masochist, and the other one is useless after one explosion!!

Aqua: Kazuma....

Blonde Crusade: To berate me in front of all these people... Kyaaaaaaa~~~~!!!! It's what I expect from you!!!

???: ~Glare~.....

(Y/N): Heh... your seem to have no luck my friend! Now get to thinking while I'll deal with this guy.

Verdia: I won't be ignored, (Y/N)!!!

Turning around I quickly drew Lostvayne that was hanging on my back and blocked an incoming at from Verdia's great sword. The pressure from his attack managed to crack the ground beneath us even more.

Verdia: How long has it been since we last fought like this you traitor!!!

Forcing my blade up I managed to knock his blade up. I then punched his headless body knocking him back and then jumped up to the air where his head was currently floating at.

(Y/N): Hmmm, I'd say it's been a year or two at best and again I'm not a traitor!!!

Verdia: G-g-gomenasai...

Not giving him the opportunity I axe kicked his head causing it to come crashing down to the ground cracking the floor. I eventually landed on my feet and laid Lostvayne against my shoulder.

(Y/N): Oiii, Kazuma have you thought of a way yet...?

Kazuma: Give me a minuet!!! Actually give me a lot more time, it seems like you're handling it pretty well!

(Y/N):~Stare~....

Kazuma: Ok, ok, ok just stop with the staring!!!

(Y/N): Hurry... as much as I can keep him down, I can't deal a finishing blow on him...

Kazuma: E-ehhh... what do you mean you can't deal a finishing blow!!!?!

I then saw his headless corpses go towards the head and lift it up, only to see Verdia's mood has darkened...

(Y/N): This might not be good...

However before he could actually do anything Kazuma stepped up by yelling out...

Kazuma: Create Water!!!

A fair amount of water then came from the palm of his hand towards Verdia, only for him to once again jump out of the way.

Verdia: What are you trying to do boy?! Don't interfere with this fight!!

Kazuma: It's water!!

That's when a groups of female adventurers behind him all chanted the same spell in hopes to get him with the attack, again resulting him in avoiding the attacks.

Verdia: Stop those attacks!!

(Y/N): Ohhh I see... so that was your weakness all along huh,Verdia!

Verdia: S-shut up!!! And enough of these attacks!!!

They just kept on coming with there water attacks having Verdia dance around trying not to get wet... what has become of this fight...

Verdia: Curse you all!!

Kazuma: Hit him! Hit him! Damn! I'm going to run out of magic!!

Aqua: Hey, what's all the commotion about?

Taking advantage of Verdia being occupied I appeared next to Kazuma and a blue haired girl named Aqua... who seemed very familiar...

Aqua: What sort of game are you playing? Are you an idiot?

Kazuma: His weakness is water!! Even a lame goddess like you must be able to use one water spell!!

(Y/N): 'Goddess?'

Aqua: It's about time I punished you, you insolent jerk!! I can use a flood-class water magic.

Kazuma: You can?!

(Y/N): You two get along pretty well don't you!!

I said giving a slight smile causing Kazuma to be shocked of my sudden appearance.

Kazuma; GAAAAHHH WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!?

(Y/N): Doesn't matter look eventually everyone's gonna run out of magic so could you both stop arguing?

Aqua: Only if he apologizes!! Apologize for calling a water goddess a "lame goddess"!

(Y/N): You got a god complex or something....?

They both seemed to have ignored my statement as they continued their conversation.

Kazuma: I'll apologize all you want later! Hurry up and do it, you useless goddess!!

Aqua: Fwuaahhh you just called me a useless goddess!! Just watch...

Tears were falling from her eyes as she cast her flood lever spell, during the casting of her spell Verdia tried to flee the scene, however he was held down by that kinky crusader... what is this fight...

Aqua: Sacred Create Water!!

Wait a minuet... this might back fire...I quickly jumped into the air and landed on the gate of Axel... I'm not gonna be caught up in this... a huge amount of water then fell from the sky and into poor Verdia... however the water didn't stop and soon enough it began to drown all the other adventurers... it even began to damage the gate of Axel... eventually the water went away.. and I jumped down from my position. Looking at it now... that was probably a bad call... considering everyone got knocked down-... oh wait never mind Verdia got back up...

Verdia: W-what are you thinking? Are you an idiot? Are you a complete imbecile?!

Aqua: Now's your chance, Kazuma!!!

Kazuma: This time, I'll steal your weapon for sure!!

Verdia: I may be weakened, but a beginner adventurers steal will never take possession of my weapon! I'll end this once and for all!!!

He said throwing his head up into the air once again... only for Kazuma to use steal on his head managing to successfully steal it then he began to pass it around like a soccer ball.

(Y/N): I feel slightly embarrassed now... I treated this as a serious fight and these guys are just....

Aqua then proceeded to summon a staff and then use Sacred Turn Undead on Verdia body resulting in his defeat... again... what a worthless fight...

(Y/N): Heh... interesting.. I guess I should leave before anyone starts to notice something...

Before I left however I took one last glance at the blue haired girl named Aqua...

(Y/N): I wonder if you're that same goddess... nah it couldn't be... oh well... I better go find a place to stay the night..

-Location: Axel Adventurers Guild-

As if the events of yesterday never happened the next day rolled along pretty swiftly all things considered. Even though this was a major accomplishment by that man, Kazuma and his party, they act of this fight was nothing. Though the pay for beating one of the Demon Kings general is quite the reward, however...

Here I found myself in the lounge of the guild only to hear that due to the damages that the front gate of Axel suffered because of Aqua's flood level water spell... Kazuma and his party were tossed into a huge debt of 300 Million Eris... Kazuma seemed to be very depressed about this considering that his body seemed to have dropped to the floor as tears ran down his cheeks. His party members seemed to have left him to grovel in his self depression so chuckling at the sight I decided to walk over to the hopeless fool.

(Y/N): Yo, Nii-chan!

He then spoke in a depressed tone that fit him perfectly at the moment.

Kazuma: Nii-chan...? Who are you... never mind... leave me alone...

(Y/N): Hey, hey don't be like that! Come on let me buy you a drink friend.

Kazuma: R-really... thank you... I thought I lost hope in everyone on this world... but... but you seem like a nice gu... ehhhhhhh????

He cut himself off as he got a good look at my face and his face took a 180 as he looked at me with a look of anger.

Kazuma: IT'S YOU!!!

(Y/N): Yo!! Looks like you got into some trouble after your fight with Verdia?

Kazuma: You're telling me.... WAIT DON'T SYMPATHIZE WITH ME!!!! IF YOU WOULD HAVE DEALT WITH VERDIA THEN I WOULDN'T BE IN THIS TPYE OF DEBT!!!!!

(Y/N): Oi, Oi calm down. You're drawing some looks on us and I don't really need the attention right now. If you wanna talk let's do this privately. Anyways I have some business with you.

I said as I curled my hand into a fist and using my thumb to point behind me to a secluded section of the bar. I then began to walk towards it to take a seat and motioned him to follow me which he did. We both then took a seat and he stared at me with a glare on in his eye.

Kazuma: ~Stare~ You have some explaining to do...

(Y/N): Heh. What do you mean I have some explaining to do?

Kazuma: You?! Clearly you have the strength to have dealt with him, but you didn't kill him!!! Leading for my useless party member to destroy the gate of Axel...

(Y/N): Hmmm remember I wasn't the one who started that fight. I intervened because I thought Verdia would obliterate you beginners but I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't. In fact you guys probably didn't even need my help.

Kazuma:.... You...?! You?! You?! AHHHHHH!!!!

He shouted as he started to grab his head and begin to rub it frantically. A young waitress then came over to ask us if we wanted to order anything.

???: Ano... would you two like to order anything...?

I turned my head and looked towards the young waitress and gave a slight smile.

(Y/N): Yo! If it isn't Luna! It's been a long time hasn't it?

Luna: (Y/N)-chan...?

Kazuma: E-ehhhhh... (Y/N)-chan..?

(Y/N): Yup!! It's me!! Hehe you've grown a bit since that last time I've seen you!

A bright smile grew on her face as her cheeks turned a light rosy color. I only smiled at the sight of her happiness as Kazuma stared in jealousy.

Kazuma: Ehhhhh....

Luna: (Y/N)-chan, I cant believe it's actually you!! I-it's been so long since you've come to visit Axel... I-I missed you...

Kazuma: ~Stare~.....

(Y/N): Heh, I missed you too!

Luna: So what brings you here, (Y/N)-chan.

(Y/N): Oh I just had some business to attend here and so I decided to pay the guild a visit.

Luna: O-oh... a-are you staying long...?

(Y/N): Hmm... actually yeah... I've been on a lot of adventures lately... I decided to take a break from it.

Kazuma: ~Stare~....

Luna: O-oh!! Tha-that's great news!! U-ummm.... I-if your not to busy one of these days... m-maybe we can catch up...?

Kazuma: ~Stare~......

Both Luna and I took an uncomfortable glance at Kazuma as he looked at the two of us with spite in his eye.

(Y/N): Of course!! After all we used to get together all the time so why not!

Luna: G-great!? I-I'll be waiting!! A-anyways can I get you two anything?

(Y/N): Oh yeah can you just get Kazuma a drink... he really needs it.

Luna: Ok~!! I'll be right back with you're order!

(Y/N): Alrighty!!

Kazuma: ~Stare~.....

Luna then walked away to go get our order leaving me alone with Kazuma yet again, his stare never leaving me. Getting slightly annoyed I flicked his forehead.

Kazuma: O-ouch.... what the hell was that for...?

(Y/N): You really know how to make things awkward do you...?

Kazuma: It's not my fault!!! I never got that type of a reaction when I first came here.... why are you more of a protagonist then I am!!!!

(Y/N): No clue. Stop being a baby already... you'll never get a girl like that you know.

Kazuma: E-ehhh.... geeez whatever... what do you want to talk about anyways... ahh wait... WHY COULDN'T YOU HANDLE VERDIA?!?

(Y/N): Heh straight to the point huh... alright... but first may I ask a question...?

He said looking to the left while sweating a bit... the look of a liar.

(Y/N): No need to lie... after all I'm from your world too.

Kazuma: E-ehhhh....? Your from earth too?

(Y/N): Yeah... though I lived in America..

Kazuma: Oh I lived in Japan.. wait a minuet!!! You can't expect me to take this like it's nothing?!

(Y/N): What do you mean..?

Kazuma: Well... first off what gave it away? How did you know I was from another world...?

(Y/N): Well it was by the way you act, not to mention her.

I said pointing towards the bluenette as she was doing parlor tricks to the other guest getting drunk at the bar.

(Y/N): She's the same goddess that sent me to this world. That's what gave it away...

Kazuma: I see... so what does this have to do with me... or what it has to do with you not killing Verdia...?

(Y/N): I was getting to that.. you see Kazuma... I'm not like others around here...

Kazuma: What do you mean by that...?

(Y/N): Well... for example I can't kill any of the Devil King's Generals.

Kazuma: Ehhhh.... THEN WHAT THE HELL IS THAT STRENGTH GOOD FOR THEN?!?!?

(Y/N): Shut up already... look it's not that I don't want to kill them... I physically can't deal a finishing blow on them.

Kazuma: ~Stare~...

(Y/N): Sigh... stop staring already!!

Kazuma: Then explain yourself clearly!! Why can't you kill them.

(Y/N): Heh... I was cursed...

Kazuma: Cursed...? Like what Verdia did to Darkness...?

(Y/N): Yeah... though my curse isn't something as weak as whatever curse Verdia put out on your friend... and the caster isn't just anyone...

Kazuma: O-Oi... what is this ominous vibe I'm getting from this... I-I don't think I want to know anymore...

He said trying to get up and run away only for me to give him a smile with a sinister aura surrounding me as I put Lostvayne on the table.

(Y/N): Nope you already know too much...

Kazuma:..... Fine go on...

(Y/N): Do you know what they call me, Kazuma...?

Kazuma: Yeah.. when you popped up in the battle against Verdia I heard some people call you the Black Swordsmen or something...

(Y/N): Yeah that's what they call me... do you know why..?

Kazuma: Nope. To be honest I didn't even know you existed until now.

(Y/N): Heh.. I see well do you know Mitsurugi?

Kazuma: Yeah, I stole his sword and sold it...

(Y/N):..... You what...?

Kazuma: Hahahaha... forget I said anything...

(Y/N): Anyways I'm a big shot like him. Though for different reasons. There's a rumor about me...

Kazuma: E-ehh whats the rumor?

(Y/N): That I was invited to the Demon King's castle for some reason and the whole encounter ended in me battling against the Demon King and his eight generals.

Kazuma mouth dropped wide open as I said that and he looked at me with complete shock.

Kazuma: B-but that's just a rumor right... w-wait a minuet.. Verdia did say you were a traitor...

(Y/N): Yeah... that's how the rumor is... in truth.. that did happen due to different reasons...

Kazuma:...................

(Y/N): Well that's besides the point... as it is now I'm cursed and the person who cursed me was the Demon King himself.

Kazuma:................

(Y/N): As I am now cursed like this all I can do is wander all around this world in hopes not to cause people trouble...

Kazuma...........

(Y/N): Though as you can imagine that got boring really fast which is why I came back to Axel in hopes to find a way to end this curse...

Kazuma:......

(Y/N): And that's how I stumbled onto you... and the goddess that sent me here.

Kazuma:...

(Y/N): Look I'm tired of being cursed... and I've tried everything possible to break this curse on this world and nothing ever worked. But I never had the chance of a high class goddess like her.

Kazuma: NOOOOO!!!! I refuse!!!

(Y/N): E-ehhh... why..? You didn't even let me finish...

Kazuma: NO!!! SCREW YOU!! IF I HELP A TRAITOR TO THE DEMON KING THEN I'LL BE TARGETED NEXT FOR ASSISTING YOU!!!

(Y/N): If your goddess manages to break my curse, I'll pay off your debt... actually I'll even double it.

A moment of brief silence was heard as Kazuma instantly shut up and looked at me.

Kazuma: Aqua-sama~~~!!!!

Kazuma suddenly shouted out in glee as he skipped cheerfully to his party member and spoke to her. Seeing as I was far away I couldn't really hear them but I saw the look on her face. First one of shock, then relief, then fear, then shock again as they finished their conversation she skipped over to me with a slight blush on her face.

Aqua: How can the great and powerful, Aqua-sama serve you today?! It will be my absolute pleasure to serve you? Would you like me to call you Master? Or something else? I can do all sorts of things from tricks? Miracles? Or even naughty stuff~~? Now then what is your wish, Master?

She said with a bright sparkle in her eye as she stood there majestically. This girl... just how shallow is she to do all that for money...

(Y/N):... How low will you go for money...? Anyways I don't want any of that and you don't have to call me Master either. I just want you to break the curse that's on me.

Aqua: E-eehhh....? Just a curse... really... you'd pay that much money just to break a curse?

(Y/N): This curse... its more dangerous then you think...

Aqua: Very well~!

She said as she held out her arm and held it there for a good minuet leaving me to wander what she's doing...?

(Y/N): Umm...? What are you doing...?

Aqua: Just give me a second and let me the Goddess handle this little curse of yours~!!

(Y/N): Very well then.

Just then a staff came through the doors of the adventures guild and straight into the hand of the goddess.

(Y/N): ~Whistle~ That's pretty damn impressive.

Aqua: Please for a goddess this is nothing~ Now then let me break you're curse and then you can pay us the money you promised~!!

(Y/N): Yeah, though if you can't break it the deals off.

Aqua: No problem Master~ I'll break this curse quickly!

(Y/N): Stop calling me Master already... you're a goddess aren't you?

Aqua: Y-you actually believe that I'm a goddess..?

(Y/N): Yeah.

Aqua: U-usually no one believes in me... I'll make sure to break this curse of your without fail!!

She said with a new look of determination. Looks like she's not all about money... hopefully this works cause if not... I'm not even sure what I'll do. She seems reliable after all she is a high level goddess. Surely she can.. she then began to chant her spell and all types of glowing effects started to appear around her as she chanted the final part of her spell.

Aqua: Sacred Dispel~~!!!!

With that said an enormous amount of light then engulfed me and the spell seemed to have been working..

Until...

(Y/N): H-huh..

Red lightning then coated my body, the pain was so sudden and out of nowhere I couldn't help but screech our in pain.

(Y/N): AAAAGGGGRRRHHHH?!?!

This caught the attention of many people inside the adventures guild, it caused some of the adventures, waitress including Luna, Kazuma and two other people following him to come see what was going on.

Luna: (Y-Y/N)-chan?!?

She dropped what I assumed was the drinks that I ordered earlier. She quickly came to my side and was about to grab onto me that was until more electricity surrounded me preventing her from getting any closer.

(Y/N): AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Kazuma: OIIII YOU USELESS GODDESS WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!?

Kazuma began to shout at Aqua as she stood their shocked at what was happening to me. She then began to panic as she broke out of her state of shock.

Kazuma: THEN WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!

Tears then started to fall from her eyes in a funny kind of way as she continued to panic. Meanwhile Luna was attempting to help me in whatever way she could as I fell to the floor.

(Y/N): ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

Kazuma: O-Oiii (Y/N), are you alright?!

(Y/N): ~Huff~ D-damnit... looks like he predicted this outcome too... I guess I've got no choice...

I placed my hand on my chest and attempted to focus while the red lighting around me intensified... I only got one shot at this.

(Y/N): C-Counter Vanish!

The red lightning around me dispelled as the light that surrounded me from Aqua's spell vanished as well. I could only sit there gasping... to think that he would... damnit he outsmarted me.

Aqua: A-are you alright?!

(Y/N): ~Sigh~ Yeah... I'm good...

Luna: (Y/N)-chan are you sure you are okay?

(Y/N): Yeah...

Luna: W-what happened..?

(Y/N): Don't worry about it, Luna. Heh let's just say I've made enemies with the wrong person...

Luna: (Y/N)-chan...

Aqua: T-that shouldn't be possible... I should've been able to dispel any curse...

Blonde Crusader: I-impossible... Aqua could even dispelled a curse from one of the Demon Kings Generals...

Kazuma: T-that's..

Aqua: That means he was cursed by someone stronger then the Demon Kings Generals...

Luna: (Y/N)-chan... just who exactly did you make an enemy of...?

What they just said caused whispers to erupt in the adventures guild. What a pain... looks like some new rumors will come from this.

Male Adventurer ???: W-wait so does that mean the rumors about him are true?!

Female Adventurer ???: N-no way... there's no way he would still be alive if that were true...?

Female Adventurer ???: He is one of the strongest adventurers we have...

Aqua: Rumor..? What rumors...?

Kazuma: The rumors are about (Y/N)...

Blonde Crusader: I've also heard these rumors... that he went head to head against the Demon King and his eight generals at the same time.

(Y/N): Oi, Oi...

I said slowly getting up. I then looked around at all the adventurers and they all seemed to tense up as I did.

(Y/N): Regardless of the rumors being true or not doesn't matter. Now move on there's nothing to see here...

Breaking the crowd up was the best plan of action... don't wanna let anyone know I have a curse in me... it might've been a bad idea to tell Kazuma. The people who were surrounding us started to break up until there were only five people left. Which happened to be Kazuma, Aqua, a girl with a hat, the blonde Crusader, and Luna.

(Y/N): Man, oh man looks like I have a lot of explaining to do...

Aqua: How is it possible.. that I couldn't break the curse...

(Y/N): Now, now... I'll answer you're questions, but first Luna do you have somewhere we can talk privately..?

Luna: O-of course. We could use the back room.

Girl with Hat: Ne, ne... Kazuma who is this guy..?

Kazuma: Not now, Megumin.

Megumin: ~Pout~ Hmph...

With that Luna led us to a room she had in the back of the adventures guild. There Luna, Aqua, Kazuma, Kinky, and the girl named Megumin sat down...

Geez when did Kinky and Hat girl join this group...?

I thought to myself as I gave a look of displeasure leading Kazuma to explain himself as he noticed the look on my face.

Kazuma: A-ahhh (Y/N), this is Megumin and Darkness they're part of our party.

(Y/N): Heh it's fine don't worry about it, Kazuma...

We all then took a seat in the chairs that were available inside the room. The tension in the room seemed to have shifted into a serious one... I don't blame them when it comes in regard to the Demon King this would change anyone's mood.

(Y/N): Come on now... I know you all have questions...?

Aqua: I'll go first... how is it that I couldn't break your curse?

Kazuma: Does it have to do with it being a curse from the Demon King...?

Luna: Demon King...?! So the rumors were true... (Y/N)-chan...?!

Aqua: Demon King... you were cursed by the Demon King...?!

Megumin: Uwuah?! The Demon King... Oi... Oi Kazuma... should I use my explosion magic on him?!

Kazuma: Be quite Megumin!!!

Megumin: Hmph....

(Y/N): Woah, woah... one at a time... to answer your question, Aqua. Turns out the curse was to powerful for even you to break. And to answer whatever question is floating around... yes I've been cursed by the Demon King.

Darkness: Cursed huh... Verdia put a curse on me one of death, but Aqua broke it easily. What type of curse has been put on you, (Y/N)-san?

Kazuma: Crap... I didn't even bother to ask that...

Aqua: You knew he was cursed by the Demon King and yet you still asked me to break it?!

Kazuma: Come on you heard how much he was offering!! You useless goddess why couldn't you break it!!!

Luna: Aqua-san, Kazuma-san please focus...?

Luna said trying to focus on my answer which seemed to have worked because it shut them up instantly.

(Y/N): No need to be so tense, Luna. It's not that serious.

Darkness: Then why won't you answer my question. Just what type of curse do you have, (Y/N)-san?

(Y/N): It's not that I'm trying to avoid your question... it's just the more you don't know about my curse the better...

Luna: (Y/N)-chan... please... could you tell us what your curse is about...

Luna said as she grabbed my shirt sleeve. She had a serious look on her face yet concern was still present on it.

(Y/N):~Sigh~ Looks like I can't avoid this huh...

She shook her head a no as her gripped tighten on my shirt... tears seemed to threaten to slip out however she tried to stay strong.

Luna: I-I... I knew letting go that day was a mistake... you told me not to worry... that you'll be back safe from harm... but...

She said talking about the time when I first left this town on my quest to get stronger. At the time I was just a regular adventurer, that's when I met Luna at first we didn't really get along, but then we hit it off. Sadly that's a story for another day, however...

(Y/N): I get it... I'm sorry to have worried you... you were the first friend I made when I got here.. so I'll be honest with you. ~Sigh~ My curse is different from the one that Verdia gave to you Darkness.. the Demon King gave me a deathless curse...

Aqua: Deathless...?!

(Y/N): Yeah...

Kazuma: Woah... is that even possible...?

(Y/N): I didn't think it was until it was done to me...

Darkness: So he gave you a deathless curse... that doesn't seem to bad.

Aqua: Yeah. You told me that this curse was dangerous...?

(Y/N): There's more to it. Each time I "die"... I'm brought back... but each time I lose more and more of my emotions.

Aqua: You lose your emotions every time you die...?

Kazuma: I don't really see why this curse is so dangerous...?

Megumin: Hmmm.... neither do I....

Darkness: It does seem troublesome that you lose your emotions... but is that all...?

Luna: E-everyone... t-this is a lot serious the you think... after all if (Y/N)-chan loses all his emotions he won't be the same...

(Y/N): You're right. Kazuma... on its own it wouldn't be that much of a deal... but that brings us to why I was called by the Demon King.

Kazuma: The reason he called you....?

Luna: Why were you called to the Demon King's castle...?

(Y/N): I was an up and coming swordsmen... tales of my adventure started popping up until eventually I was treated as one of the strongest swordsmen in all of Belzerg.

Luna: Mhm... I remember hearing about that... I was so happy but at the same time sad... I thought you moved on from us here in Axel...

(Y/N): I could never forget about my home in Axel.

Meanwhile Aqua and Kazuma were whispering something to each other...

Kazuma: O-Oi Aqua...

Aqua: Yeah, Kazuma?

Kazuma: Is it me or are they..?

Aqua: Y-yup...

Kazuma: So do you...?

Aqua: Feel weird and uncomfortable...?

(Y/N): I can hear the both of you...

Aqua/ Kazuma: AAAAHHHHHH?!?!

(Y/N): Anyway don't interrupt.

Aqua/Kazuma: Sorry....

(Y/N): Anyways... hearing I was pretty strong and wasn't really aligned with anyone since I was doing my own things... he recruited me to become one of his demon generals.

Aqua: E-e...

Kazuma: E-ehh....

Kazuma/ Aqua: EEEEEEEEEHHHHHH?!? RECRUITED TO BE A DEMON GENERAL?!?!?

(Y/N): As ridiculous and unbelievable as it is, it's true.

Darkness: Then what could have happened for things to turn out the way it did...?

(Y/N): Despite the rumors, he's actually a pretty reasonable person... however... things went south in our conversation. I may have said somethings that he didn't seem to like and before I knew it we were fighting... it lasted for a while the battle but it eventually ended in my lost.

Darkness: But why did he want you...?

(Y/N):... Heh... originally... I was human.. but when I met the Demon King... he told me something... that I was not a human.

Luna: No longer human... (Y/N)-chan... how could this have happened to you...

(Y/N): It happened two years ago.

Darkness: (Y/N)-san, what does this make you then? If you are not a human then what are you...?

(Y/N): He said I was a demon... heh could you believe that?

Everyone in the room was shocked to here this. Aqua however was the most shocked upon hearing this, she slowly covered her mouth with one of her hands and began to slightly shake.

Kazuma: Aqua...?

(Y/N): So you do remember me?

I asked her noticing her reaction... she slowly nodded her head and stood up dragging Kazuma with her. I'm guessing Kazuma still hasn't told his teammates about him being from another world. I decided to continue my story as they began to whisper to each other.

Kazuma: O-Oi Aqua?! Why are you dragging me away?!

Aqua: I-I remember him...

Kazuma: What do you mean?!

Aqua: I-it's him...

Kazuma: Aqua!! Snap out of it what's wrong with you?!

Aqua: (Y/N) (L/N)... he was a human that I sent over from the other world... he died a pretty young and cruel death...

Kazuma: W-what about it...?

Aqua: I explained the situation to him but he himself had no will to continue living... but he decided to come to this world...

Kazuma: A-and...?!

Aqua: When it came time to pick out a cheat item... he didn't choose anything...

Kazuma: Why would he do that...?

Aqua: He himself decided it... he's had a tough past compared to a lot of people... so I gave him a choice.

Kazuma: What type of choice?

Aqua: Since he didn't pick a cheat weapon or something to bring with him, I gave him a choice... whatever he thought about himself, whatever he saw himself as he would become that in his next life.

Kazuma: E-ehhh that seems kinda unfair don't you think?! What if he saw himself as a god or something...?!

Aqua: That's the thing... I thought he would think something like a hero... or a knight... or a mage... I didn't think of anything extreme like a god... or a demon...?!

Kazuma: Baka useless goddess....

Aqua: S-shut up!!!!

(Y/N): Heh, I'm honored that you remembered me, Aqua. Everyone as it stands right now I am not a human... at least not anymore. It was because of this he wanted me to join him. I was also had the skill to be a Demon General. Add all that up together there's no reason why he wouldn't want to recruit me.

Darkness: So why...? Why the danger what is it that you fear from losing your emotions...?

(Y/N): Have you ever lost yourself to anger... to the point where you just act without even thinking at all. I have... and when I did I lost all control.

I held up my hand forming a small flame on the center of my palm. The flame itself burned brightly however it was different from a regular flame, this flame was pitch black.

(Y/N): When I lost control I destroyed everything in my sight. Becoming a demon gave me abilities I never had before. If I were to lose my emotions I fear what this empty shell would do.. or how much destruction it will cause. The Demon King himself said that would be my curse and damn was he right.

Darkness: There's more to this story then you're leading on.. isn't there?

(Y/N): Quite perceptive are you. I have nothing more to share.

Darkness: Forgive the skepticism, but you're story isn't adding up. The Demon King just happened to recruit you...? He just happened to start fighting you...? What are you hiding from us...?  A deathless curse? How could you have figured this out huh?

Kazuma: Darkness...?

Darkness: I believe that you're hiding something from us?

(Y/N): Sigh... heh... to be honest I didn't want anyone to know this. The rumors aren't entirely true at all. I wasn't being entirely honest either. He did recruit me for the reason that I have stated, however I didn't tell you how it ended. I accepted his offer.

Kazuma:........?!

Aqua: Y-you what...?!

Megumin:......?! K-Kazuma should I use my explosion magic now?!

Kazuma: Nows not the time for that!!

Darkness:......?!

Luna:......?!

They each gave a look of surprise, what can I say I don't really blame them after all the Demon King is the enemy here.

Darkness: W-why would you join a man such as him...?

(Y/N): To be honest my life before hand wasn't all that pleasant... after I became an adventurer I had no idea what I wanted to do. Then I had a chance encounter with him and he was persuasive which led me to joining him.

Darkness: What happen then...?

(Y/N): Looking around, I've noticed he was doing more harm then good. I decided I no longer wanted any part of it so I left. That wasn't recurved to kindly and the result led to my battle against the Demon King and his generals.

Luna: (Y/N)-chan....

(Y/N): At his defeat, he put a curse on me and here I am now. I eventually met someone who told me exactly what this curse was.... and I was shocked. I didn't believe it so I tested it. I thought to myself deathless curse... how ridiculous...

Aqua: Y-you tested it...?!

Luna: (Y-y/N)-chan....

(Y/N): Yeah... a pretty dark moment in my life not gonna lie. This person also told me the effects of what would happen to me each time I died. As of now I have died a total of five times. It's kinda impending ya know... I feel myself losing all emotion slowly... with each death and here I am now barely holding on to the me I was.

Darkness: F-forgive me... I didn't know you were holding this back...

(Y/N):Don't worry about it. Ya know you're pretty sharp kinky... after spending a year cursed I began trying to find a way to break it and all attempts have failed... the only way I think could possibly break it is to defeat the Demon King.

Aqua: So that's what you have to do to break it...

(Y/N): Yeah. Now I'm just trying to live. I fear that if I die once more that's it. Once my emotions are gone I might end up going back to the Demon King and that's what I fear.

Kazuma: Why is that...?

Darkness: I believe I know why.... I've heard a rumor about one Demon King General being stronger then the others, however he died at the hands of the Black Swordsmen...

(Y/N): Is that what they say huh...? Geez just how many rumors are there about me. Yeah it's be no exaggeration to say I was the end of him because I am him.

Kazuma: Man that's a lot to take in...

Luna: (Y/N)-chan...

(Y/N): What is it, Luna..?

Luna: I-I'm so sorry!!

This shocked me...? Why is she the one apologizing to me. In fact it should be the other way around, I should be the one apologizing to her.

(Y/N): W-why are you apologizing?

Luna: You've been carrying this all along and here I was... doing nothing to help you... I-I'm so sorry...

(Y/N): Sigh... Luna you couldn't have known after all I'm never visit so it's not your fault.

Luna: Still....

I then gave her a pat on the head and a small smile and then looked to the rest of the groups that was in this room.

(Y/N): Listen, it's no one else fault but mine that I'm in this position. That being said I've decided to trust you guys with this information. Please don't end up betraying me.

Aqua: O-of course!!

Kazuma: Only if you pay off our deb- AGGGHHHH WHAT THE HELL AQUA?!?!

Kazuma was cut off as he was hit on the top of his head by Aqua.

Aqua: We're not going to charge him!!!

Kazuma: Geez.. it's not like you to be generous... you feel responsible or something...?!

Aqua just pouted and turned away from Kazuma.

Aqua: B-Baka of course I do after all I'm the one who brought him to this world...

Kazuma: Hmmm... so (Y/N) what are you going to do from here in our...?

(Y/N): For now, just wander. Until I can finally find a way to break this curse.

Aqua: T-then we'll help you find a way to break your curse!

Kazuma: E-eeeeehhhhhhhh?! What are you saying?!

Darkness: I agree completely! How can I not help after hearing that story!!

Megumin: I want to help too!!!

Luna: A-as do I!!

(Y/N): E-ehh?! B-but why?!

Aqua: Because I want to help you!!

Kazuma: O-Oi don't decide this without me?!

(Y/N): But you realize I've tried everything right...? To be honest the only way I see this curse being broke is by...

Aqua: Defeating the Demon King, I know.

Darkness: Hehe that's our goal anyways so why not kill two birds with one stone?

Megumin: And I can show off my explosion magic!!

Luna: And I'll do whatever I can to assist.

Kazuma: I-I can't believe you guys....

(Y/N): Heh... I've almost forgotten how kinda people can be. Tell you what Kazuma if this works out I'll pay you the money I said I would for breaking my curse... how's that?

Kazuma: I will fight with everything I have!!!

He shouted in determination. I then looked at everyone and gave a slight smile, I haven't felt this type of kindness is a long time.

(Y/N): Well then. If we're going to defeat the Demon King, you guys are going to have to power up quite a bit!! And luckily I know the perfect enemy for beginners!!

All of them: Right!!! Lead the way!!

(Y/N): We can also make some money off of this!!

<Two Hours Later>
-Location: Grassy Plains-

After accepting this quest from Luna to not only train, but get money at the same time we found ourselves on the grassy plains. This enemy should be fairly easy considering they aren't that hard. Since Luna can't fight she stayed behind at the guild and it was just Kazuma, his party and I. I was feeling determined about the new help I had that was until we started fighting the enemies I told them about...

Aqua: HEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Kazuma: AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!

Darkness: S-SOOOOOO STICKYYYYYYY~~~~!!!!

Megumin:................. help........!!!!!!!

I could only stand there shocked as Kazuma's entire party was wiped out by....

Giants Toads.

(Y/N): YOU ALL ARE SO USELESS!?!? Who can't handle a simple giant toad?!

-AAAAAAAGUMMMMMPPPP-

The sound of something being swallowed could be heard as I now found myself in the inside of a toads mouth..

(Y/N): I stand corrected.... how are we ever going to beat the Demon King like this...

I spoke to seemingly no one as the only sound that could be heard were the screams of Kazuma and his party. Still despite the disruption I couldn't help but feel grateful towards them.

(Y/N): Thanks everyone...

After dealing with that whole Giant Toad problem we spilt ways. I told them I was going to search around for way to break a curse to see if anything new would come up and that I would meet up with them eventually. There I was traveling through the woods about to rest for the night that was until I heard a scream.

????: AHHHHHHH SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!'

I see a young girl with crimson-colored eyes and mid-length dark brown hair tied into two twin-tails that lie on her shoulders being chased by what looked like a dragon type beast. I instantly drew Lostvayne and came in between the dragon and the girl.

(Y/N): Not so fast!!

The dragon seemed shocked at my sudden appearance and was about to attack that was until I kicked it back and then focused some of my magic into Lostvayne. The dragon the gave a might roar as fire started to build up in its mouth.

-RRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRR-

(Y/N): Get behind me now!!!

???: O-okay!!

I ordered the girl as a straight breath of fire came from its mouth and right towards us. Not having much choice I swung my blade towards the fire and used my ace spell.

(Y/N): Full Counter!!!

-RRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGG-

The dragons attack was then reflected back towards it at double the strength. Once it hit it caused a giant explosion, however the dragon came out of it shaking it off. The dragon gave another roar and was about to charge at us, that was until I focused my magic in Lostvayne once again. It then ignited into black flames, I then swung my blade towards the dragon launching a slash of black fire towards it.

(Y/N): Enchantment: Hellblaze!!!!!

-BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM-

The dragon the fell to the ground defeated. I gave a sight as I sheathed Lostvayne and turned towards the girl.

(Y/N): Are you okay, Miss?

???: Y-yes!! T-t-t-thank you for saving me...

(Y/N): Heh don't worry about it. So what were you doing fighting that dragon...?

???: U-u-ummm I was just trying to protect other adventures from it... but then I got overwhelmed... I'm so sorry for being so burdensome!!!

She said bowing done in front of me...? I then panicked and waved my hands around trying to calm her down.

(Y/N): H-hey i-it's okay don't worry about it! You weren't a burden at all!! In fact I'm glad I was able to help you!!

???: R-r-really...?!

(Y/N): Yeah I'm glad you're not hurt Miss...? I'm sorry what's your name..?

???: O-oh I'm sorry I should've introduced myself... I'm so stupid!!!

(Y/N): N-no you're not after all I didn't introduce myself so I guess I'm stupid too haha...?

I said trying to calm her down... man what is it with this girl...? Why is she beating herself down?

???: T-t-thank you... y-you're so nice you know that...

(Y/N): Heh don't mention it. Ahh my name is (Y/N), what's yours?

???: A-ahh my name is Yunyun, it's nice to meet you, (Y/N)!

(Y/N):Yunyun huh...?

Yunyun: Y-yeah... is something wrong...?

(Y/N): Not at all!! It just I like your name it all!

Yunyun: R-really...? Y-you don't think it's weird or anything...!?

She said as her face started to heat up and her eyes began to glow red. Is she what I think she is...?

(Y/N): Yeah. It's actually really beautiful.

Yunyun: Y-you really are nice aren't you.

(Y/N): Heh if you say so! Well I have to get going, but it was a pleasure to meet you, Yunyun. I hope to see you around.

I said as I was about to continue on my way to break my curse that was until the same young girl called out to me once again.

Yunyun: W-wait!!! (Y-Y/N)...

Stopping in my tracks I turned around to get a good look at Yunyun as she was now standing in front of me. Her cheeks a dark red color as she looked down at the ground shyly holding onto the ends of her skirt.

Yunyun: U-umm... I-I... I-I wanted to ask you s-s-something....

(Y/N): Hmm what is it...?

Yunyun: W-w-will.... y-y-you.... u-umm...

(Y/N): Hey, hey take it easy and just breathe I promise I won't judge you for asking whatever it is you want to ask.

Yunyun: Y-you're so nice... t-t-that's why I want to ask i-if yo-you'll please... u-ummm....

She then took a deep breath and shouted out what she was trying to say.

Yunyun: WILL YOU PLEASE BE MY FRIEND!!!!

(Y/N): E-eeeh...?!

She looked down in embarrassment not know how to take it I began to laugh.

(Y/N): Pfffftttt- haha haha!!

I began to laugh harder at this, causing her to panic to the point where she was about to leave the scene. Before she could do so, I then put a hand on her head and gave her a good pat pat. This caused her cheeks to flare once again.

(Y/N): Is that it...? Of course I'll be you're friend! There's no reason to be shy over this type of thing!!
