I hopped into the car after my mom kissed me on the cheek and reminded me the fifth time today about there being pepper spray in my bag just in case. I always liked to ride in the car without out my parents, my butler, Melvin was quite funny and talked to me like I was his best friend when my parents weren't around. Today, there was something about it that made my stomach tie into a knot, if only I could put my finger on it.

         We pulled up to the front of the school and Melvin wished me luck as I walked into he school building. Walcking quickly inside I saw that we had a new principal this year, she seemed very nice even hee name was sweet. Before I walked in to say hello (my mom made me do it everyday) I looked at her name plaque Ms.Cherry. She stood tall and firm but her eyes were full of beuty she was very beautiful and seemed gentle.  For a moment I thought I almost recognized her from somewhere but I count put my finger on it. "Good morning Ms.Cherry." " I presume that you must be our finest student, Ms.Dunwoody. Are you ready for today?" " Yes ma'ma ," I answered promptly.  For a moment under her breath I thought I almost heaard her say "Oh, I bet you won't be."

I couldn't get those words out of my head. Maybe they meant something but I'm not quite sure though.
