My Princess (Part 1) | A Percabeth AU
A very random AU that entered my head when I was abt to fall asleep. It's the reason I'm so sleep-deprived right now. I know I've been doing more PJO stuff than the other two fandoms, but don't worry : I'll start writing abt those in bulk too.
Enjoy!
Princess Annabeth, daughter of Queen Athena, sat on her bed, reading on of the books she had gotten for her 17th birthday, a little more that a week ago. Suddenly, the door to her room opened and a head poked out. "M'lady?"
"Yes, Juniper?" Asked Annabeth. Juniper was one of the servants assigned to the princess, but over time, they had become good friends.
"The queen requests your presence in the dining hall, princess. It is time for dinner." Juniper replied.
"Ofcourse. Thank you Juniper." Annabeth said, getting out of bed and brushing down her pants.
"Oh, and I might suggest wearing a gown. The queen was not in a good mood." Juniper winked and exited the room.
"Ugh. This will take some time." Annabeth said with disgust, heading towards her walk-in closet.

"About time, Annabeth." Queen Athena quipped at her daughter while Annabeth walked down the stairs, wearing a gorgeous sea-green dress with grey accents. "What is it, mother?" Annabeth asked. "I was going to have dinner in my room today."
"Yes, I know that dear. That's why I asked you to come down here and eat with me. I have something to tell you." Queen Athena said, sitting down at the dinning table and gesturing to Annabeth to sit down in front of her. With a hesitant look at her mother, Annabeth sat down.
"You know about King Poseidon, don't you?" The queen asked.
"Of course I do, mother. He's is one of your biggest rivals." Annabeth replied back, wondering where the conversation would lead to.
"Yes, well, we've been talking, and we find it best that, as a peace treaty, you are to marry his son, Prince Perseus." Athena said, looking anywhere but at her daughter.
"What?! I'm getting married to someone I barely know? How could you, mother? And the fact that you agreed to it! I'm not going to!" Annabeth exclaimed, angrily stomping her foot down on the carpet.
"Now, now dear. No need to act childish. I've heard that the Prince is a wonderful person, and this marriage would benefit our kingdom tremendously." Athena said, as if it were a completely normal thing. "As a matter of fact, he is very handsome as well."
"I don't care if he's handsome! I'm only 17! I'm not going to marry ANYBODY!" With that, the princess stormed of to her room, not caring about changing her dress as she threw herself to her bed. Without wanting to, she started sobbing. I don't want to get married yet, she thought between sobs.
The door opened and Juniper walked in, a bag in hand. "Annabeth, what happened?" She asked the princess in a soothing manner. Annabeth recounted the whole story to her.
"Don't worry Annabeth. Even though the queen shouldn't have agreed to the marriage, I have a feeling that it's all going to come out just fine." Juniper said, once Annabeth had said what she had to say.
"I hope you're right Juniper, I hope you're right."
Soooooo, how was it? I know that it's WAY to short, but I've been working on this for a while now, but my exams are less than a week away and I won't be able to update that much because I'll be to busy stuDYING. But I PROMISE to continue this AU after.
Byeeee!
