We just had our long and weird and some of us felt ... sad night.

The long-awaited morning finally greeted us. I was pretty proud of myself for waking up early but joke on me; some of the cowies were already awake.

"Good morning, Luna..." Yummi greeted me with a smile. "I just washed up, finally!"

Oh, so this is the reason behind the floral scent coming into the room.

"Good morning, Yummi..." I acted like I didn't get shocked at seeing my friends already bustling around. "Why do you guys wake up so early?"

Yummi stopped to think.

"I'm not that early, you know... You should see Storm.. or Reanne... or Azriel...."

"I only took 2 hours of sleep. Don't drag me into you guys the early chickens..." Azriel commented from his dining chair, sipping his super black coffee.

"You gonna die, bro..." I expressed my sympathy.

"We all are dying," Azriel replied nonchalantly.

I looked around the room, only me Azriel, Yummi, and Aura staying in this room. The existence of my other friends was still unknown and mysterious.

"You should probably go to the bath, Luna..." Yummi suggested. "Or you're going to be late for school."

LATE FOR SCHOOL?!

I dashed to wherever the bath was after Azriel pointed in a direction. I would fold my blanket first but knowing how Yummi acted to us, she probably finished cleaning the bedroom as I already finished the bath.

I ran into the hallway with some knights and maids bowing at me. I stopped to bow and ran again which was kinda annoying but a must for me. I asked a friendly maid and she ran with me to the bath.

A freaking guest bath with my friends enjoying their hot bath... on a freaking summer.

"Yoo the sleeping beauty is here," Elise waved her hands. "Come, come, Luna. A hot bath is super good for our exhausted bodies."

"You sound like a doctor..." I put off my clothes and joined my friends in the massive bath.

"That sentence she stole from Reanne indeed..." Kaoru confirmed.

"But it's summer..." I tried to make my justification.

"You can just rehydrate yourself later..." Reanne nodded. "Like a certain someone who's already washing her warm body with cold water."

I looked at the spot Reanne mentioned. A ghost with long-ass black hair sitting on the corner under the heavy cold shower. We couldn't even see the ghost properly as the hair covered her left-right-front-back.

"I wonder why she doesn't cut her hair..." I whispered.

"You probably need to ask her directly because I don't know the answer either..." Ixora smiled with her relaxed face.

Not long after, Olivier left the bathroom after half-drying her hair. Elise, Ixora, and Kaoru joined after, leaving me and Reanne on the last list.

"You okay, Reanne?" I asked. "Are you not feeling well?"

"It's not like that..." Reanne answered. "At Cowie, we need to hike to enjoy the hot spring. So I really cherish this moment."

I smiled and decided to stay in the bath with her a bit longer. The moment Reanne stepped out from the bath was also the exact moment I finished my bath.

"So... when will we go to school?" I tried to converse.

"Beats me..." Reanne replied as she walked out of the door. "As long as Mamoru or Jin is still with us, then it should be fine."

Like a mind-reader, the brothers plus Ludwig came from the boy's bath next door. I used to see Ludwig with his curly hair up to the sky and now it was kinda flattened because of the warm bath.

"Good bath, Reanne?" Ludwig walked a bit faster to pace his walk to Reanne.

"Delightful," she smiled. "I'm glad I don't need to hike up to the mountain to feel this refreshed."

"Ahahahaha you bet," Ludwig laughed cheerfully.

Ludwig and Reanne then talked about whatever topic that I really didn't pay attention to. I looked at the brothers behind us, who were following the room, also talking.

"Only you two?" Jin asked suddenly.

"WHOOOO DO YOU THINK OF??" I teased him but it was my defeat. Jin was looking so contented on everyone's knowing his mind, and not answering the question.

As we reached the bedroom, the maids and helpers hesitated to come inside. I approached them and they even got startled at my sudden existence.

Whoa, now I can confirm that I have the teleportation ability from the Cowies.

"Whazup?" I asked while looking at the direction they were watching.

"No... it's nothing... just..."

Before our eyes, the breakfast was prepared by my own friends. It wasn't like they were the ones cooking it. Yet, they served their own meals and cleaned their own table and chairs. I even could see some helpers and maids eating with my friends on the other side.

"You guys are scholars. Why don't you let us do our job?" the maid looked overwhelmed but glad. "We feel useless."

Since the foods were managed by the others with better balance, the shortie tugged the maids' hands like a child asking for toys.

"Let's eat together..." Olivier invited. "I love to eat on the bed so you can take my chair..."

"But..." the maid looked troubled.

"Let's go!" I helped Olivier on pushing the maids. "You can take my chair too!"

Mamoru laughed at the distance while Jin somehow trusted that this could happen with his friends.

"You have interesting friends..." Mamoru stopped his laugh to breathe and comment.

"I know," Jin smiled.

Just like that, the bedroom was filled with chatter and happiness. We couldn't even tell which one was the loyalty and the servant. Everyone looked elated as the pile of food started to disappear to satisfy our hungry bellies. Breakfast was all gone, now we needed to go to school.

I sighed a lot.

After changing to... this era's clothes, we marched to a room that was supposedly used for the scholar's school. It was kind of funny actually; seeing all kinds of ages united into one similar grade. Also, the clothes looked like dancer clothes for Storm and Olivier was kinda cosplaying as Muk from Pokemon with that overly oversized robe.

Yet I still couldn't believe that the reason for her sour face was the oversized clothes she was wearing. I bet there had to be something else that's bugging her mind. I tried to ask but she didn't respond. I would try again later.

After 10 minutes of walking from one hallway to another hallway, finally we reached a room with books and a blackboard. I felt sorry that I almost forgot the existence of the blackboard as we modern people didn't really befriend this ancient tool.

Aura rushed her pace to the cornermost chair, I didn't know the reason. Seeing her strange action, Olivier took the window seat in Aura's row. Storm followed on Olivier's side... which quickly triggered Jin and he had to feel satisfied with sitting between Storm and Aura.

What a strange way to pick a seat.

Reanne took Olivier's front chair and Ludwig was lucky enough to embrace her next seat. Cole and Yummi decided to follow on the row.

That would be a couple row.

I had a thought that my friends didn't fancy the front row so I took one right before the teacher's table. There were still a lot of available chairs behind me so I guessed that my row wouldn't be that popular... but I was wrong.

Jemi took my window chair's side and Lance took the one next to me. After laughing a bit, Mamoru took the corner front row. Thus, the rest of the team was sitting on the available chairs.

"You love teachers, eh Jemi?" I teased him and punched him jokingly.

"All chair's the same. It's the neighbor that counts," Jemi answered while looking away from the window.

"I'll take that anytime. Thank you," I smiled gladly.

I guessed I would enjoy this school escape.
