Lydia

I feel like a fool. Jack had just introduced me to his friends, Merida and Hiccup, and I feel as if I embarrassed myself in front of them. They seemed friendly and Hiccup even offered to let me ride his dragon sometime, and Jack said it was rare of him to say that, but I still think deep down they think I'm weird.
I braided my hair, if I keep myself busy I won't worry about it.
Then I heard a crash as Jack came in through my window.

"You really have to learn to control that," I say.

"Wanna go for a ride," he asks.

"If you're crashing into my room, how do I know we won't crash into a lake?!" I ask him with a grin. He just shrugged and said he wasn't that bad at flying. I grin and try to keep the smile on my face but could feel it falling.

"What's wrong?" He asks as he walked toward me, trying to look at my eyes; trying to read my emotions.

"Nothing,...." I mutter but he looks unconvinced.

"You can tell me you know?" When I didn't respond he grasped my hand "Punzie, what is it?" Just looking at him made me melt and cave and tell him everything. Something about those blue eyes.

"I don't think they like me,...."

"Ofcourse they do!!" He shouts gleefully, but not even his enthusiasm could make me better right now. Truth is, I think they might like me, but that would make them become my friends. I haven't hung out with friends since Eugene. We'd always hang out with Joker and Harley or our friends Lucien and his girlfriend. I haven't seen the red headed boy, Lucien ,in forever, I wonder how he's doing? Anyway just all the memories came back and I don't.....can't see how anyone would accept me like they did. How can anyone accept me?

"Hey, who wouldn't like you, you're the sweetest girl alive," he spoke which made me blush. "You're cute when you blush,"

"I'm not blushing," I say, he look at me with a smirk. "I just......forgot sunscreen,"

"We're in a tower and it's cloudy," he said as he laughed.

"Since when were you logical?!!" I joke back. He laughs and then look at my arm.

"What's that mean?" He asks touching one of my runes, he let his hand there for a split second, making me crave his touch.

"Runes," I tell him "they give shadowhunters abilities and,..."

"They're cool looking," he spoke with glee as he then met my eyes. "Hey rapunzel, I love you ya know," I thought I was going to collapse. He said it so casually almost like you would with a friend, but he still said it. And that's when I knew that I was falling for Jack Frost.
