Merwin
  There was too much going on right now. From aunt Ianthe and the courts to high school ending for the summer, it wall all too much at one time.
   I sighed, this was the first summer we'd be spending with Jermone, and I guarantee Clacey will be around because her and J are still together. They're compatible , but if she was the break up with me I know J would be destroyed. He's already broken enough, I'd hate to see him shatter to pieces.

  "Ok, no more girls day so tell me everything," Lucy spoke entering our room. "I know it's really bothering you so just let it all out," she fell onto the bed beside me, making herself comfortable and grabbed my hand.

"Lucy....it's nothing I..." I could tell her anything, so there's no reason for me to hide it. "I'm just so stupid, when Cameron broke my heart you think I'd learn not to fall for someone  but,....I did it again and...." I forced back my sons only to result tears to come out. "I....." It was hard for me to get my words out. "I really liked him Lucy," I whispered, "and now I'm rejoined everything," she squeezed my hand "my friendship....I.....he probably wants nothing to do with me," before Lucy could object I continue "and I don't blame him,"

 
"Merwin," She begins "everyone falls for people, you can't control your heart ok? And I doubt you ruined everything and I don't think he meant what he said,"

"He said it didn't mean anything,.....Lucy when we went out with J and Clacey he flirted with me like crazy, and....it's like he finally realized that I liked him  and he acted like nothing happened,"

  "Merwin boys are stupid and.-"

"When Waller and us,...he....he saved me Lu, and now........it's like nothing ever happens between us," I let my tears fall. Lucy sighed and grabbed my phone.   "What are you doing?" I ask.

  "Fixing this," she spoke, before I could take my phone from her she stormed out of the room.

Amber

  With the school year finally ending, I knew I'd miss my friends. I walk through the halls for home last time as a sophomore, I waved at Clacey, only to have her gesture at me to come toward her.

"Hey," I begin, she grins.

  "Amber," she begins "I need to tell you something,..now I know we're not close but you're close to Lucy and I think you need to know this," I didn't have a clue what she was referring to, her friend Annabelle simply said she'd leave us alone. "Ok, so Amber you're a catch for most guys,"

  "I really doubt that," I begin only to have her hush me.

"You're always a challenge because you're so hard to get as a girlfriend, since you've never had a boyfriend,"

"Clacey What are you trying to get at?" I ask, only to be interrupted by J coming over to the lockers.

  "I'll tell you later," she spoke, giving all her attention to me. Leaving me pondering over her words.

Lunch that day was awkward as always, Jermone was giving Drake dagger eyes and Lucy was trying to act like she didn't see it, Clacey was calling J a cinnamon roll, while Merwin was trying to ignore Daniel and make it look classy while doing so.
  James came in late as usual.

  "Hey," he spoke as he pulled a chair up beside me. "Well, I have news," he begins, everyone at the table looked at him, desperate to get out of their conversations. "After the summer my parents are moving back to England,"

  "Why?!" Lucy asks. But she looked happy about it, probably because her ex love would be away form her. I'd hate to have James leave, I mean he is stupid and acts all tough but he's not that bad. After being apart of a squad with us, he opened up more. Always making fun of the people at Hogwarts and their robes.

"I thought you hated England?" I begin.

"I do, mom and dad think it's dangerous here now because of the whole Waller thing and they think it's better there," he shrugged "I'm gonna hate it,"

"I'm sorry James," I begin "it would be hard to move after you've been here for so long,"

  "Yeah there's a lot of things I should have done," he begins. Clacey smirked, as J kissed her dimple that appeared from it, only to have her laugh. Everyone resumed back to what they were doing, Lucy and Merwin left, probably to talk about life or something. "Amber I need you to do something for me?" James began. I look at him in question. "Will you keep this?" He asks handing me a ring on a string.

"Your house ring? The gryfindorr one, they give you at hogwarts, but don't you need it?" I begin.

  "I want you to have something to remember me by," He spoke.

"Do you want me to find something to give you, so you'll remember me?" I begin, only to have him stifle back a laugh.

"Please, no one can forget you Amber,"

Daniel
When Lucy called I felt like an idiot. I was so afraid of rejection that I told Merwin she meant nothing. When in reality she means everything.

Merwin
  When mom told me someone came over, my immediate  thought was that Amber came over for a sleepover, during the summer she loves staying with us, when I heard a mans voice my next guess was that it was aunt ianthes friend, Tank, the one she invited over. Alas all my assumptions were wrong and I almost broke seeing Daniel at the door.

  Mom let him come upstairs to talk to me, only if I left my door open and if Lucy could be across the hall. It's not that they don't trust me, it's just a rule of ours. Whenever Clacey comes over, Js door I always wide open, not that any of us would do anything like that, it's not us my parents don't trust, it's our friends and dates.

  "Why..:" I begin only to have Him blurt out.

"I'm sorry,.....I....I didn't Let you finish that day, I should have heard you out,"

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

  "Merwin, I was afraid you'd reject me ok? I....I tried to drop all these hints but I could never tell how you felt,"

"What is the point your trying to get at?" I ask, wanting to hear him say it so i know it's true.

"Merwin,....why do you think I flirted with you that night? Why did I save you instead of any other member of the squad? Why did I tell you about my powers and no one else? Why do I warm your stupid chicken nuggets up with my heat vision?!" He paused.

  "Why?" I ask, tilting my head to the side in question.

"Are you that stupid?" He asks jokingly.

"I want to hear you say it," I mutter. He scooted closer to me and whispered into my ear.

"I really like you,"

My face turned pink as I muttered the words out myself.

"I like you to," only to see him grin like a monkey, a smile not even the Joker could pull off.
