Ariette was running towards the squirrels' house. She even forgot to knock and burst into the house. The squirrels were overjoyed. Dora was standing a bit far, and upon seeing Ariette, her mouth opened wide in wonder. "You won the war?"she asked. "Yes."said Ariette. Dora's eyes swelled with tears and she covered her eyes. "Why are you crying?"asked Ariette. " I am sad Miss Ariette that Narnia is free, and you shall leave soon. On the other hand I am happy that we won." Ariette looked away.

They could not realize when Aslan had stood beside them. He said," Dora, if Ariette is truly dear to you, then she shall stay in your heart forever. " " Sire," asked Dora," will she never return again?" Aslan shook his head. Ariette sighed. She did not say anything.

Aslan said," Now dear, you must return." He and Dora accompanied Ariette to the Evening Moon's Alley, towards the bookshelf. Ariette climbed in through the opening and waved at Dora for the last time.

" Nanny, I'm coming," she said and reappeared through the door. " Where have you been?" thundered the old woman. "Saving a world."said Ariette and went away to bed.
