Naagin's POV

I was combing my hair. Just then Reuben came.He looked worried.

"Naagin, your so much hair is falling."

This sentence took me few years back.

Flashback starts

I disguised myself as a beggar and was sitting outside the palace.Actually,I wanted to see inside the palace. It looked so beautiful from out.I wondered how much beautiful it would be inside.I would always try to go inside but the guards would always stop me.So I decided to disguise myself as a beggar and ask the king only.

Just then someone came. That someone was none other than the king, Reuben.But I didn't know that he was the king. But still I had to pretend.

"Please give me some money. I haven't eaten anything for so many days."

"How dare you come in my area and ask me for money."he said harshly.

"This place is not yours."

"It's mine. You're a beggar."he said angrily and pulled my hair trying to recover me from that place.

Suddenly, I felt my head paining and I lifted my head up to see. And I saw that the king was catching my hair and he wasn't aware that my hair came out.

Flashback ends

"What happened Naagin? What were you thinking?"his question brought me back from my thoughts.

"I was thinking about Joshua."I purposely told a lie. I wanted they're friendship to break. But actually I was thinking about how you made me bald.

"Why were you thinking about Joshua?"

"Why can't I think about him?"

"Naagin. You're mine, only mine."he said angrily and went away from there room.

Joshua's POV

As I had decided yesterday, I came to meet my friend Reuben. I couldn't see him. So I called out.

"Reuben!!!! Where are you?"he was my childhood friend.

He came. He was not looking happy seeing me. Instead he was looking very angry. He came towards me.

"What chakkar your chalaoing with naagin?" (RebeccaEstiberro told me to put this sentence)

"What are you talking? What chakkar will I chalao with that ugly snake?"

"You just shut up! She looks beautiful. How dare you call her ugly!"he slapped me.

"She may be beautiful for you,but for me she's just an ugly snake."I punched him and then we both started fighting.

He took a vase and hit on my head.I too took many things and hit on him.He punched me a lot.And I couldn't do anything.As she was taller and stronger than me he won.

I had no strength to walk.I crawled out of the room and Reuben to left the room before me.

"Why are you crawling like a snake?"I saw up it was none another than Sheryl.I had forgotten her.I even didn't ask her how she was.I had been so bad.But now I had to pretend because its not me who is going to ask for forgiveness,it's her.

"I'm not a snake, I'm a mouse!"

"Okay."she said and stamped me.I know she did it purposely.

"How dare you stamp me!"I pulled her leg and she fell on the ground.

"Ow!how dare you pull my leg!"she sat.

"How dare you slap me that day!"

"How dare you kill my mother!"she pulled my hair and made me stand.We were busy quarrelling when we heard someone's footsteps.

It was the royal advisor, Mr.cockroach.He was very happy.He was walking and coming in our direction.No,he was dancing and coming.

"Why are so happy Mr. Cockroach?"

"My happiness is my happiness.It's none of your happiness"

"How dare you talk to me like this?"

"This is not your kingdom!"

I was going to slap him when someone stopped me.

"Don't waste your time on this useless cockroach!"sheryl whispered in my ear. And he had already gone.

"Look, there's no use in fighting. It's better we become friends once again."she said so beautifully that I was lost in my thoughts. She coughed bringing me back to the real world.

She started walking and I followed her.

She found something on the table.I think she had never noticed it before.She took it in her hands and opened it.

It was Naagin's diary.Sheryl sat on the floor and began reading it.

Sheryl's POV

I found a diary and when I opened it I came to know it was Naagin's.I was excited to read it and began flipping the pages.Joshua was confused on seeing me but I couldn't help it.I wanted to know about Naagin.How her life was,how she became this way,everything about her.

Naagin's POV (diary)

It was the first day of school.As I was the princess of the snake kingdom,I got admission in the Royal School,where all the royal people would come.

I stepped inside the class and was about to take another step in when someone stamped on my tail.My tail started paining.Blood was oozing out of it.I began to cry because of the pain it gave me.And the person who stamped it was laughing loudly looking at my state.It was Joshua the prince of the Mousalia kingdom.

Sheryl's POV

As I was reading this part,I could actually hear Joshua laughing.I was shocked.How could I hear his voice?Then I realized that,he was actually laughing.And on seeing me,he started laughing more.

"You're here from so long! It's better you go from here."I told him.He wasn't ready to go but I forced him to go so that I could read the diary peacefully.He went away sadly and I began reading the next page.
