Dont mess with me
I felt... Weird. The shadows surrounded me, touching my limbs as if I was a kid who fell off a bike. "I'm fine." I reassured them but they didn't look convinced. "Guys, really. I'm fine." They looked so mad all of a sudden. They whipped their sideways to look at the strange man, walking as if nothing about me happened. The shadows ran to the man except one,who was tending to my injuries. Oh no...They're so mad, they're going to attack! I thought. "Guys!!!" I yelled. "Stop!!!!!!" The shadows kept running. The man whirled around. When he saw the shadows, he ran as fast as his legs could carry him. But the shadows caught up to him and entered his body. They sucked the man dry until he was dust. Then, the shadows left his body a walked over to me. "Why did you do that?!" I yelled. The shadows looked at one another. "Killing him wasn't okay. You guys need to control your rage." I stood up and yelped in pain. My legs felt like someone smashed them like pancakes. The shadows caught me and laid me down on the ground. I slept until morning. The next day, my legs didn't hurt at all. I decided to look for my parents. Do they even care about me? I thought. I decided to find out. I got up and walked to the nearest train station. One couple looked at me in shock, like they knew who I was. Then I heard the woman say, "egads! That filthy hobo is in our train station!" Filthy hobo? Did this woman have any manners?! I glared at her. Then, I felt... Off. I saw red in my eyes and my body was a black mist all around me. I ran up to the woman and I walked into her. I could see her organs, veins and other stuff. Then, I sucked her dry. Her body was dust on the floor. Her husband looked at me in shock and ran off. I went to my normal self and kept walking, as if nothing happened. Then I heard someone say, "it's her! It's really her!!" When I turned around to see who said that, two figures ran to me and hugged me. A woman looked up from hugging me. "Sweetheart, it's really you!" I recognized her face. It was my mom. And my dad was with her, hugging me tightly while crying. Now, I'm not an orphan, I'm not homeless, I have a job, and I have money. As for the shadows? They live with me as well. Looks like life is really working out for me.
