Y/N's POV

Jungkook and I had spent all of Sunday secretly planning our Monday escape, I had subtly been dropping hints to my mum that we were leaving, obviously I'd never tell her but I just made sure that she knew I loved her so much and that if we were ever to part I would miss her dearly.

We knew that the truck of supplies arrived in the city centre at 10:00am and we both happened to have work near there on Monday at that time, meaning we wouldn't look suspicious being in that area.

When it was Sunday night I spent my evening packing things I would need, I packed my hairbrush and toothbrush, my deodorant, underwear and my Sunday pyjamas as they were the only ones I had with me.

I then packed the mobile device we were all given that could only be used to contact our relatives or the capital of Fantasia. I would only use it to tell the time though. I packed a water bottle from our kitchen and thought I could just refill it from somewhere once we were out.

Even though I knew it would be almost impossible, I couldn't get the hope that I might meet Jimin out of my head.

Why am I so infatuated with this man?

"Y/N?" I heard a whisper and a slight knock on my door, I ran over and opened it to see Jungkook, he smiled his cute bunny smile at me before giving me a hug, he's been doing that a lot recently, "yah, not here Jungkook-ah someone could see us." I pushed him slightly and he nodded.

"I'm just so excited for tomorrow, you're packed right?" He asked and I pointed to my bag behind me making him grin again, "ahhh I can't wait!" He squeaked and I rolled my eyes playfully, "you're such a kid." I giggled.

"Oh just admit it you're excited to!" He poked my cheek and I sighed but nodded, I must admit I haven't felt this happy my entire life, and there's a new feeling inside of me, it's like I'm hyper but I'm nervous, yet I feel like I can do anything...

I think it's called, adrenaline?

All I know is I cannot wait to get out of this place...

[Monday 9:30am]

Jungkook and I sat in the flower garden that was hidden from people walking nearby, we had been here for 10 minutes already and were just waiting for a sign of the delivery truck.

After another few minutes of waiting we were suddenly aware that footsteps were coming extremely close to where we sat, but that meant someone else was in the flowers?

I looked to Jungkook who had fear woven into his features, "shhh." I warned as he started to hyperventilate, the footsteps grew nearer until a person appeared.

But he didn't seem like someone we should fear, Jungkook clearly didn't see that though, "p-please! Don't tell anyone we're here please I beg you!" He was clearly panicking yet I just studied the boy stood in front of us in the flowers.

"Is he always like this?" The boy suddenly spoke to me and pointed to Jungkook, "uh, no, he's just worried, what are you doing in the flowers?" I asked and Jungkook finally shut up.

"Well I could ask you the same question my friends, my name's Taehyung." He smiled and held out his hand, I looked at it with a questioning frown and he sighed before pulling it away again.

"I see, so, are you guys trying to escape?" He asked and sat by us and slipped his bag off his shoulders, "yeah, I'm Y/N, this is my younger brother Jungkook." I smiled and he nodded to Jungkook, "hi." My brother timidly smiled at this new friend.

"Well so am I so maybe we can do this together?" He asked happily, his voice was rather deep but I could tell he was our age, he seemed nice, and we wanted any friends we could make, "sure! You got here with perfect timing, the truck should arrive any moment." Jungkook finally spoke up making Taehyung grin at him.

Just as he spoke we heard an engine coming down the road, "that's it, come on we might as well start going the way it came from to get a little head start while it delivers things." Taehyung grabbed his bag as he stood up making Jungkook and I follow his movements.

We started to walk down the road that the truck had just drove through, Taehyung leading the way, "call me Tae by the way." He suddenly turned and smiled making me nod and return his smile.

We reached a split in the road and had to wait for the truck to return to know which way to go, we hid in some bushes until we heard it's engine and it drove past. It turned left so we immediately started to run after it.

As we ran down the road I noticed our surroundings gradually changing from a cityscape into trees and then spread into seemingly never ending fields either side, I slowed to take it all in until I noticed how far ahead the others were.

We just managed to watch it turn right at the next split in the road, we were quite far behind it, meaning if there was another split after this one, we were probably going to miss it.

"Y/N! Keep up!" Jungkook called as he sprinted off even faster than Tae, we watched in amazement as he disappeared round the corner, us following behind rather slow compared to his speed.

Once we caught up we noticed that he had stopped at what seemed to be a dead end, "it's a gate." Jungkook mumbled, he grabbed the metal bars and began to shake, "that's gonna get you no where." Tae scoffed.

I took a few steps back and looked at the wall the stretched for miles either side of the metal gate, "why don't we just try to climb the wall?" I suggested and both boys looked up from whatever they were doing with the gate and came over to look at the wall.

"I guess we could try?" Tae seemed sceptical but grabbed onto the ivy that had grown over the bricks, if this was anywhere near the actual city then this ivy would have been killed before it could even fully sprout.

Tae pulled on it before hooking his feet into a patch, it seemed to hold his weight as he carefully climbed, "we'll go one at a time because I'm not sure how it'll hold." He panted as he grabbed the top of the wall.

He then hoisted himself over the top and we heard feet land the other side, "woah... you guys need to get over here." He called over and Jungkook gestured for me to go first.

I started to climb and Jungkook grabbed my waist to help me over. Once I landed gracefully on the other side Jungkook followed quickly and we all stared out at the stunning environment.

It was nothing like I could have imagined, exotic looking flowers bloomed wherever they pleased and I could already hear the different species of animals all roaming freely together through the vibrant trees and running waterfalls.

It was as if the wall separated two completely separate worlds. We walked back over to our right to get back to the road that the truck would have gone down after getting through the gates, it was a dirt road now, winding through the wildlife surrounding us.

"This is gorgeous." Taehyung breathed finally being the first to speak, "I can't believe we're actually out of Fantasia." Jungkook grinned, I stroked the bark of a tree when I suddenly felt arms wrap around my waist from behind.

"Y/N, we're free!" Jungkook squealed as he squeezed me and I giggled, "come on guys we should get moving." Tae called from a little bit ahead and both Jungkook and I started to follow behind him, still taking in the surreal world around us.

After a while of walking it began to get dark, I checked my phone but it wouldn't turn on, "what? We left in the morning, how can it be getting dark already?" I asked with a puzzled look towards Tae since he seemed to know the most, "I've heard that the time changes in each section. We should probably stop for the night." He replied before throwing his bag down against a tree.

"What? Just sleep here?" Jungkook asked and Tae nodded, "well where else? Do you see a luxurious bed anywhere?" He then laughed and Jungkook sighed.

I plonked myself on the floor in front of a tree where there was a small patch of cleanish looking grass that was completely dry, I used my bag as a pillow and got my biggest jumper out to use as some sort of blanket, "uh, Tae, if you don't mind me asking, how do you know so much about- well- outside?" I asked after I got kinda comfy.

"A few years ago I discovered a secret website on my laptop that allowed me to talk to people, I somehow started to talk to one boy and we became friends, I was only 12, I'm 18 now by the way, but back then I didn't think anything of it. Until I asked where he lived and he said some place I had never heard of before and I knew it was not part of Fantasia.

I told him where I lived and he said that his dad would drive there on Mondays at 10am. So his dad was one of the delivery people. He told me all about the journeys his dad would go on to all of these different places to drop off the food that they would make on his farm.

I found out he lived in a completely different fraction to us called Arcadia. They would grow food and care for animals and they are basically the most laid back and kindest people in our world. I learnt a lot from him."

Once Taehyung had finished telling his story I was just all the more intrigued, "do you still know him?" I asked and Tae sighed before shaking his head, "the website was finally found out by your parents and blocked off. I haven't spoken to him in two years now." He frowned sadly.

"I'm sorry. What was his name?" I couldn't stop my curiosity, I just wanted to know more about this world around us, and maybe Tae's friend could help.

"His name was Park Jimin."
