Trinitys POV

Did jace really not understand his emotions are on his sleeve.

"What can I do for you?" I asked

Everything in me wanted to be closest to Alec. To be in his arms, kissing him, touching him. Just overall being right beside him. I was sitting across from him and it wasn't enough. They hadn't answered and my wolf was getting antsy. She wanted to be in her mates arms and sitting across from him wasn't helping. He was right in front of us, right within arms reach.

I growled softly shaking my head fighting her. Trying to hold her back because I didn't want to rush Alec. She was getting harder to hold back.

"No" I growled

I stood up and rushed to the corner of the room. Trying to take deep breaths to push her back down. I felt my body shifting, but I pushed her down.

Alec's POV

"What's happening?" I asked

"Her wolf is trying to take over" Magnus said

"What do we do?" Clary asked

"Not we, you" he said pointing to me

"What do you mean me?" I asked

"Her wolf is calling to you, but knowing Trinity she's trying to let you make your own decisions of timing" he said

I scoffed, it was nice of her to do and I mean that. Although I found myself following my instincts instead. Because deep down I knew both of us needed this. She needed me just as badly as I needed her. I made my way over to her and touched her shoulder. She growled and turned towards me her eyes flashed purple. She was trying not to shift into her wolf form.

I wrapped my arms around her even though she fought me. After a little while like two or so minutes. She realized who was touching her and she took deep breaths. I felt her inhaling my scent and nuzzling closer to me. She purred and I couldn't help but smile and chuckle softly. I rubbed her back soothingly and brought her closer.

A few minutes later and she backed away to look at me. I looked down with a smile and she smiled back.

"Thank you Alec, I don't know what I would have done if I hurt any of you" she said sadly

"Why did you fight it so much?" I asked

"I've waited centuries for you Alexander, so when I found out you were in a completely different era then me, I wanted to give you a chance to make the choice for yourself and not feel pressured into it" she said

"Thank you princess, but I'm happy to be with you" I said

"I'm glad I finally have you Alec" she said

"Don't fight it anymore, just trust your instincts and trust mine" I said

"Bien sûr chéri" She said in French
(Sure darling)

"Darling sounds nice coming from you" I said

Trinitys POV

He is absolutely the most perfect person in the world. I already love him more than the world itself. I can't even explain how connected and magnetic he feels. The pull to him, the sparks and just everything.

"So you need a specific spell book" I asked

"Yes and a powerful warlock to help" clary said

"I'm sorry I wasn't there to stop your father clary, I didn't much associate with the clave and I heard about the circle I just was with the downworlders and such" I said as I leaned into Alec's side

"Don't apologize you didn't know" she said

"That's the thing clary I did hear about what was happening and I'm just as bad as the clave for not interfering after everything I've watched the shadow world go through" i huffed

Alec pulled me closer and kissed the top of my head. Sort of in a comfort and reassure type of gesture. I looked up at him and smiled softly him he returning it as well.

"So do you know about the book?" Jace asked

"I don't just know about it, I have it" I said

"Why didn't you say so" jace said frustration clear in his voice

Alec must feel the protective instincts and the bond strongly.

"Watch how you talk to her" he snapped

"Dude you just met her and your defending her?" Jace wasn't too happy

"Jace she's his mate" Izzy said

"I'm his parapatai" jace snapped

I took a deep breath and looked down then back at jace.

"I know what the parapatai bond feels like jace, and I know you've known him longer than I have, but this bond trumps your parapatai bond, he still and always will be your parapatai, but in his new instincts I come first and you second, I know what this will feel like for you I too had a parapatai" I said

"Yeah well you don't now do you" he said

That's when things changed dramatically and quickly. I grabbed him my the throat and pinned him to the wall.

"He was murdered in front of me, an ambush the demons came from all over we didn't have enough time, I watched him take his last breath, say his last words, and watch the demons decapitate him in front of me, they held me back, took four of them and I couldn't do anything but watch him die, I still to this day struggle with that loss, so don't you ever tell me what I feel and don't you dare speak to me about a parapatai bond like that again" I growled and let him go

"I'm sorry I" he began

"Yeah didn't know" I said

"Be careful jace" Alec hissed

Alec pulled me into his arms and I nuzzled my head into his chest. Taking deep breaths to calm the multiple beast within me.

"The book?" Clary said softly as if she was trying not to anger me

I nodded and snapped my fingers the book appeared in them. A thick book it was, but small as well. I opened the book gently and smiled at the memories. The way I got the book was interesting at that.

"Which spell?" I asked

"This one" she said holding up a picture

I took a deep breath, this spell she's asking for. Is dangerous and will take both me and Magnus.
