A Writer's Mind
Piece the words together,
One by,
One,
Make something uniquely beautiful out of what's already done,
All writers have storylines that sound the same,
But their personal twist is not to blame,
Romances tend to be described by figurative hearts,
The love that unexplainably starts,
Each character is drawn back to who they come to adore,
Making the reader always want more,
They might not get a wanted ending,
As sad as it sounds, it's possible for rejecting.
Fantasies stem from everything we wish in the world to be true,
This doesn't mean you can make everyone satisfied too,
It's a place with guaranteed privacy,
That only your hopes and dreams can see,
However it can also be influenced by the pain of reality.
Horrors should take a backseat,
They fill you with fear of the monsters you can meet,
But when you look in the closet and under the bed,
The darkest imaginations vanish from your head,
Monsters were never there,
They would only arrive in despair.
Adventures explore the action,
Map out the treacherous places you haven't been,
Put the hardest tasks to the test,
Then make them better than the rest.
So, now you begin to know,
The high and low,
Of how writing may go.
