War
When the wind blows
And bombs fall from above to below
The light emitting from its luminescent glow
In a grave of the fireflies
Two spirits among thousands of lives
A motherless child
And a war mans son
In midst of the remains there are no names, no common faces, no fame
A cloud of smoke over Britain
Radiation sparked across the nation
World war 1 was atrocious
But it held nothing in comparison
Hiroshima was now a wasteland
Brought to waste by the common man
Have you no shame?
To know an ancestor was a part of this war game
To win is to cause destruction
To go to war is to cause malfunction
I beg of the great nation
Come to peace not temptation.
