~Luna'sPOV~

"It's Lunar Eclipse." a voice unfamiliar and calm said. Just like before and like the other voices I've heard so far, it came from everywhere.

I called out to it to see if it would respond, but it didn't... ARGH!!! Why does this always happen!?

"Anger won't help you control it, Luna." the voice said.

"Where are you!?" I called out to the voice, but it didn't answer.

That's it! I've had enough of these crappy, creepy voices showing up outta no where! "Where are you!? What the hell do you want from me!?" I yelled as loudly as I could. My voice echoed all around, the "me" part repeating itself like an old record.

"I want to help, Luna, but you must remain calm. Anger and confusion will only blind you. Clear your mind and tame your emotions and your questions will be answered."

I scoffed at the voice, but it did seem like it knew what it was talking about. Plus, there was this feeling in my gut that told me I could trust it. Weird... I'll have to ask Free about that gutty feeling later.

I did as the voice said and calmed myself by taking deep, slow breaths. Soon, the confusion in me washed away.

When it did, my surroundings changed. I no longer saw Solaris and the town, but a large group of water. Standing on the water was another me, but she looked like Mom. Her skin and hair were sky blue, but her eyes were still indigo. She wore a cute, simple dress that stopped at her calves.

She waved to me. "Hello, Luna."

I crossed my arms and gave the girl an irritated stare "Are you another me?" She probably is another me! How many times is going to happen!? It's so fucking irritating!

The girl nodded, then gestured for me to follow her as she turned and began walking. Without question, I followed this girl who was me. I think I'll call her "Blue" for now.

Anyways, Blue kept walking down the large expanse of water. Weird thing, whenever she stepped down on the water, there weren't any ripples coming from her feet, but there were ripples coming from mine as I followed her. Weird... Also mysterious and really interesting.

Blue spoke up, stopping and turning to me "The Lunar Eclipse is a mode one goes into when one is unlocking one's power. Once that power is unlocked, one must learn to control and tame that power."

I got some of that, but what exactly is Lunar Eclipse? And how can I control this so called "power"?

Blue saw my confusion and reached her hand out to me. I took her hand and felt a sudden pull. It was coming from above. I looked up to see a blue full moon right above me. It was glowing. It was like the more I stared at the moon, the more transfixed I was by it...

I felt ripples beneath my feet. They were small at first, but then they gradually got bigger until eventually they turned into waves! Miraculously, I managed to not get swallowed up by the waves. Blue was calm. It didn't seem like she noticed the waves for she started walking on them like it was nothing!

She pulled me with her. I lost my balance while walking since the waves was making everything so difficult! Blue on the other hand seemed to have no problem walking at all!

"Luna, you must remain calm. Your mind is like this water. When agitated, it becomes difficult to understand, but when you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear." Blue tapped the rampaging waves below us with his foot, then a small ripple calmed the waves. The water was now calm once again.

However, unlike before, there was something reflecting in the water. It was the moon. I looked up to see that it was still glowing, but it wasn't as much as before and I no longer felt that pull. Strange...

"Luna, wake up! Wake up, Luna! Wake up!" Solaris's voice came from the moon. Why was he calling me and why was he telling me to wake up? Blue tugged my hand which caused me to look over at her.

"Yeah?" I looked over at Blue and for the first time since I've seen her, Blue smiled. It was sweet and warm, like how Free and Mom always smile.

"He's your answer, Luna." And that was all she said to me before my surrounding changed again. Everything went black for a moment, but it felt like that moment lasted years. I felt my body being shaken violently. There was a slight pain in my hand, but I couldn't figure out what it was...

~Solaris's POV~

As soon as Luna's body turned completely black, she gave me a wicked grin. "Oh, big borther~!" she said in a playful, creepy voice. There was a hint of insanity in her eyes, and...pain...?

I jumped back for I knew what this meant. Father once told me about this; it was called Eclipse mode. The way he explained it is a bit unclear to me as it was years ago, but I do remember the main ideas about Eclipse mode.

Eclipse mode is something that only our family can do. It's when someone's negatives feelings take over their body and causes them to go on a rampage, destroying everything they can. I guess Luna has this ability, too. Well, she IS part of the family...

Since she's a Dark Number, the power coming from the Eclipse and the Dark Energy in her will probably be more destructive than any other.. 

I know that Luna is an annoying little brat, but I have to help her and snap her out of Eclipse mode! If I don't do anything, she'll destroy everything!

"Oh, big brother! Come and play with me, big brother!" Luna whipped her hair at me, which was now all tentacley.. Weird. She looks like Medusa from Greek mythology. I dodged and jumped out of the way at just the right time.

"Big brother, don't you want to play with me?" Luna asked in that same creepy, playful voice. Why does she keep asking me that? She whipped her hair tentacles at me again. I dodged them once again and managed to get some distance between us.

I raised my right hand in front of me "Reequip!" a sword appeared in a burst of golden light in my hand. My Reequip ability allows me to bring forth any sword that I have in my possessions. It comes in handy as I don't have to lug around a bunch of swords with me all the time, plus I can summon any sword that I need for any situation almost immediately. All I need to do is think or say the name of the sword I'm going to summon and it appears right before me. Ths sword I had in my hand right now is my one and only sword that father gave to me. It was any other regular sword perfect for my size.

"Big brother, are you finally going to play with me?" Luna asked again. There was a smirk on her face. It was like she knew that I was going to "play" with her.  Whatever. Whatever the case may be, I still have to fight Luna in order to get her out of that trance. Talking to her won't do any good since she was so stubborn.

Before I could attack or get into a battle stance, Luna attacked me with another whip of her hair tentacles. She aimed them at my fight. I jumped just in time, then stomped down on them, stabbing my sword into the ground to keep them there.

Luna scowled and pulled her hair back, trying to get her hair tentacles, but it was no use. They were stuck there and so was she. Taking this opportunity, I ran forward and jumped kicked Luna. The force from my kick caused her to fall backwards and loosened the sword off the hair tentacles. She fell and rolled back for a bit.

I know this is going to be useless, but I have to try. Pinning Luna down with my legs on either side of her, I gripped her shoulders and shook her. Not too much to cause a headache, but enough to wake her up from this state she was in. "Wake up, Luna! Wake up!"

"Ouch! Big brother, that hurts! Big brother, why are you always so mean to me!?" Luna said, a tear forming in her eye. Is she crying? Why is she crying!? Ugh! This why I don't like girls; they're so confusing!

"Luna, you have to wake up! Luna! Luna, wake up! Wake up, Luna! Wake up!" I shook her even more this time and it seemed to do the trick. Luna blink, the insanity and pain was gone now and replaced with that same confused look she always has on.

"S-solaris...?"

An enormous amount of relief flooded me when I heard Luna speak. She was back to normal! I got off of her and helped her up into a sitting position. She leaned on my chest which felt awkward, but since she went into Eclipse mode, she was probably tired. I will allow this. For now.

"Solaris, my hand hurts..." She said, lifting her hand up for me to look at. I grabbed her hand and examined it. It was swelling up. I think she might've sprained it or something when she took that fall.

"You have a sprained hand, Luna. We'll get Kai and Mom to look at it when we get back, okay?"

Luna nodded and fell asleep right there, leaning on my chest. Lazy bum. I wrapped her arms around my neck then picked her right up on my back. Then I went over to the town entrance and picked up the groceries that we bought today.

"Hey, mama's boy!" Princess' voice called. I sighed and walked out of the town since I didn't want to be bothered by an obnoxious brat.

I walked back home in complete silence. The only thing I could hear was the rustle of the leave, the chatter of the small animals, Luna's slow and calm breathing and my footsteps.

For once ever since Mom, Kai, and I left town, I felt peaceful. It was nice and it felt like I haven't felt like this in FOREVER. However, that peacefulness was disturbed when I felt and heard Luna stirring.

Luna mumbled something to herself then remained quiet and still after that. I could tell that she was awake, though. Every so often, I would feel her shift around to look at something.

"Solaris...?" Luna asked in a small, soft voice. If I wasn't carrying her on my back, I probably couldn't have heard her, even if she did repeat herself.

"What is it, Luna?" I said, spotting the trail that led to the shack.

"Who were those girls that bothered you earlier?"

Shit... I was hoping she'd forget that. "They're just a bunch of girls who pick on me for some reason. Don't worry about it." I said as casually as I could

" 'Don't worry about it'? Are you dumb!? Of course I have to worry about it! Those girls are idiots; they shouldn't be messing with you!" Luna gripped my shoulders from behind and shook me just as I shook her not too long ago.

"Like I said, Luna, don't worry about it. Besides, you're hurting your hand by shaking me like this." I heard Luna huff and she immediately stopped shaking me.

She wrapped her arms around my neck again and laid her head on my back; I guess she was still tired.

She gave out a yawn which my confirmed my suspicions, "Solaris...?" She said sleepily

"Yes, Luna?"

Luna yawned again "What's..." She mumbled the rest of the sentence and fell asleep so I couldn't catch any of that. Maybe she'll ask again later on.

Now, again, I was walking in silence on my way back home. Everything was quiet except for the usual stuff I said earlier.

As I kept walking I kept thinking about what Luna said when I was shaking her "Big bother, why are you always mean to me!?" I don't know why, but those words just kept bringing themselves up.
