I wake up not remembering when I fell asleep. Beside me Skyler is still sleeping, her mouth a little parted open. I smile, she is so adorable I give her a little peck on the head and head into the kitchen quietly, hoping her parents aren't home, turns out no ones here.

With that knowledge I start getting stuff out to make breakfast.

I decided to make some more eggs and I saw some pancake mix in the cabinets.

"Kriss?" Skyler saids. I jump nearly burning myself, "Yes? Gosh you scared me half to death." I reply. She laughs, rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes, "Sorry I should have warned you. Did you sleep well?" She said. "Yes, thank you." I replied.

After we are awake we decided to stay inside all day and watch movies, which was fine by me since it was freezing outside, that if I were to stick my arm out I would shift.

"Well what do you want to watch?" I asked. "Hmmmmm how about The Perks of being a Wallflower?" She said. "Well I've never seen it so sure." I said.

She put the movie in and turned it up. She sat down and cuddled with me. I pecked her cheek, God she is so adorable.

After the movie, which to be honest wasn't that bad, she fell asleep during the movie, so I picked her up gently making sure I don't wake her.

"Boo!", she yelled. I nearly dropped her, "Dammit Skyler!" I yelled and laughed with relief. Skyler busted out laughing, the kind of laughing that you start crying.

"I sowwy.", she said trying to hold back more laughter. I pecked her head," Don't be, it was a good prank to be honest." I replied.

" If you say so." She said, and with that she jumped out of arms. She returned to the couch and laid there bundled in the covers, coving her face.

I walked slowly, making sure I didn't make the floor squeak, I got behind the couch and pounced on her, she screamed and I tickled her. She was squealing and laughing.

Then we heard keys being put in the front door she nodded for me to go into her room and she followed.

Two voices entered the house a male and female. Skyler said,"Those are my parents." I just nodded.  They started up the stairs they passed her room, I didn't notice I was holding my breath until I started breathing again.

Skyler went back into the living room to see if the close was clear.
I waited patiently with a little bit of anxiety, I was nervous what if they caught me and what if I change? What if they turn me in? What if they–?

My thoughts were interrupted by someone shaking me. I focused and saw that Skyler was trying to get my attention I shook my head and slightly laughed. "Aww did I interrupt his day dream?" Skyler asked with a smirk. I couldn't help, but laugh harder.

I asked her,"Are we clear?" Looking at the bedroom door. She replied casually,"Yeah. Nervous were we?" She tempted. I did a sly smile,"No." "I wish I could believe you, but I kind of know your looks." She said trying not to smile, but failing terribly.

"So what's next on the agenda, since they're here?" I ask. "They left again they must have left something, I don't know." She said, sitting beside me. I turned to her and we just stared at each other. "When are we going to tell them about us?" I ask, since I don't like keeping secrets or lying.

"I don't know whenever it feels right." She said. I kept thinking what if I shift and never turn back human. I hug Skyler tightly," I don't want to lose you."

She just patted my head,"You won't."
