Zoeys pov
Aphmau was acting a lot meaner! She practically growled at me to help Garroth. I quickly started patching him up. Aphmau wasn't acting like her normal self. Her face was dead and expression was cold. The colour from her face left as if she'd seen a ghost. Her eyes were filled with anger and hate. I could see her jaw was clenched and I thought she'd brake her teeth by gritting them so hard! I wanted to know what happened but she was in no condition to talk about it.

After a little while I had the arm cleaned and I also gave him stitches seeing as how his cut was only half an inch from bone. After wrapping it, I instructed Garroth to take it easy. I slowly went to clean my station. Everything was quiet.

"....so....wh-"

"It's nothing" Aphmaus voice was hard and emotionless. It had to be something to get her this upset. I decided to leave and let her have as much space as possible.

Aphmaus pov
Seeing Zenix and...technically killing him...was so hard. I felt a hand grab mine weakly. Garroths thumb stroked the back of my hand extinguishing my anger only to leave slight peace.

"You did the right thing" he whispered. I nodded swallowing the tears that threatened to spill.

"I...he's...and" the tears came up and I was now sobbing. Garroth gestured me to his good side and I cuddled into his side. I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck.

"Shhh its alright"

"I killed him"

"Remember what I found out from the Lady Irene war? Shadows have to be killed a certain way not just by sword"

"I still shoved a sword through his body!" I sobbed more

"Honey, its ok it wasn't really Zenix" he kept stroking my arm and comforting me. It helped a little but...it still hurts.

Dales pov
Zoey was explaining how Chief was acting strange. It sounded like she was shutting reality out in a way. This whole Zenix turning has hurt her the most seeing as how they were the closest.

Not being able to see her as she was I couldn't give my opinion so I went to see for myself. I walked in and there she was.

Sobbing into Garroths shoulder he looked up at me and gestured for me to leave. Reluctantly I left. Once I told everyone what I saw they were astonished at how different her mood was.

Like a mood swing..

I Aphmau pregnant?!?!

A/N *facepalm* Dale just because girls change emotions doesn't automatically make them pregnant if they're anything like me they're happy one second angry the next and then fine again.
