Aphmaus pov
I thought this day would be normal like any other day but I was very wrong. Let's start with this morning.

I woke up in my uniform because last night I was too exhausted to change. I heard a high pitched screech and ran after the sound. On the path to O'Khasis was a little girl about six. Two boys, looking about eight, held a doll over her head.

"Give it back!" She pleaded. This girl was far too young to be walking to O'Khasis alone..

"Who's gonna stop us? You're dad?"

"He's working! Now give me my dolly so I can go!"

"How about...no!" This little girl reminded me of myself. I was around her age feeling so helpless and vulnerable. I pulled out my bow and carefully shot an arrow so it whizzed by the boys' ears and into a tree behind them.

"Dude I think that's the Phoenix Alliance! Let's get outta here!" They dropped the doll and bolted. The little girl picked it up and looked around scared. I decided to confront her. I jumped out of the tree and was now in front of her. Her eyes widened and she cowered back.

To show her I was friendly, I dropped all of my weapons and kicked them to the side.

"Y-youre not going t-to hurt m-me?"

I shook my head no

"W-why did y-you help m-me"

"You're going to make me break my rule"

"Y-you sound like-"

"A girl? I am. Now I saw you needed help so I did"

"I thought you guys were mean people who cared about nobody but themselves"

"Now who told you that?"

"Lady Katelyn"

"Who...?"

"She's a member of the Jury of Nine."

"Why would you be talking to a member of the Jury of Nine?"

"My daddy's a member also"

"May I know his name?"

"Jeffory"

"Ok, well we don't care about ourselves we give money to the poor" I crouched so I was at her level.

"What's your name?"

"Aphmau" I whispered. I took her hand and opened it palm up. I pulled out five good coins and placed them in her hand. I closed her little fingers around them.

"My names Abby....what're you doing?"

"I want you to have this money for being so brave and not crying" Abby grinned and wrapped her arms around my neck. I hugged her tiny little body and she pulled back after three seconds.

"Be safe I'm going to go see my dad bye!"

"Wait!"

She turned around and looked at me quizzically

"I want to go with you, so I know you got there safe" she smiled and ran by my side. Yes this was very dangerous seeing as how I'm wanted in O'Khasis but I want to make sure she arrives safely. "Hold on let me take off my uniform." I went and removed my uniform revealing my newest clothes I had Cadenza make me. I hid my uniform under a rock and went back to Abby.

"You're pretty!"

"Thanks now lets go"

We weaved through the crowds as she led me to where her dad would be. I kept my head down trying not to let the guards see me. We got to a large building where the doors were taller than any door I've ever seen. Abby pushed the door with ease and we walked in. Inside was a man pacing. He had brown hair and brown (?) Eyes. Hepis eyes lit up when he saw Abby.

"Abby! You're safe!" He enfolded Abby into a hug and spun her I  circles. "Oh! Who is this?" He doesn't recognize me? Strange...

"I'm Mindy I saw some boys picking on her so I helped her"

"Daddy she saved dolly!"

"Well thank you Mindy, I'm Jeffery Abby's father"

"It's nice to meet you I must be off goodbye Abby and if you ever need my help you know where to find me" I gave her a wink and managed to get out of O'Khasis unspotted. I hurried and put on my uniform. I ran back to base where Garroth was there crossing his arms and giving me a look a parent gives their child when they did something they weren't supposed to.

"Hey!" I greeted

"Aph where were you?"

"A little girl needed my help so I helped"

"Oh really?"

"Yes"

"Well you worried me I thought Zane took you again!"

"Always jumping to the worst conclusions!"

"I worry about you too much" he snaked his arms around my waist. He rested his forehead on mine and gazed at me with his blue eyes.

"You don't need to" I said barely in a whisper. He placed his lips on mine and pulled away before I could kiss back.

"I will always worry about you"

Now you're probably thinking. This isn't a normal morning? Sure I went into O'Khasis but other than that what's so weird? Well, what happened after made me shocked beyond belief.

Garroth and I walked to a lake and it was beautiful. There was still a morning sun causing the lake to glitter like crystal. I heard a dog breathing and I turned around and each dog had a sign in their mouths.

Thorgi- Will

Phoenix- You

Jiggy- Marry

Cookie- Me

Puma- ?

My eyes widened after reading them. I turned and Garroth was down on one knee. He took my hand into his and I could feel tears fighting to escape.

"Aph, you are the most wonderful woman I've ever met. You showed me there's more to life then looking out for yourself. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So would you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?"

I could barely talk because tears were managing theirselves out of my eyes. I managed to choke out a yes. He got up and hugged me. We kissed passionately and when we pulled back he slipped a ring onto my finger.

"I love you" he whispered

"I love you too" I replied. We then kissed again.

And now here I am next to my fiancée telling everyone the news.

"We are engaged!" I blurted. Everyone cheered and the women went straight to me asking a million questions and the guys congratulated Garroth.

Garroths pov
My heart was beating faster than ever. All I could think about was waking up with Aph beside me every morning. And getting to say she's mine and not lose her. Our love will last forever like the circle of a ring around her finger. The guys kept saying congratulations on getting the guts to ask while the girls just asked a million questions a minute.

Everything might be a mess but if one things right in our lives its Aph and I.

A/N i love disney so thats why the picture at the top has it. It is somewhat like Garroth. Why do I never seem to write a lot in Garroths point of view? I don't know honestly. But they're engaged!!!!! Yeah it was sort of rushed I'll admit it. But hey I'm sorry for not posting for two days I was busy and still have homework. And I actually plan on ending this book soon. Don't panic but it'll end on a good note of course. But everything comes to an end and I currently have four books so I plan on ending the woods soon. Phoenix Drop High will be going for what seems like forever but I'm sorry one has to end and I can wrap this up easier I love you all byeeee ❤
