Aphmaus POV
Ok Garroth isn't gonna die...he can't die. Deep breaths he's perfectly fine! Right now his heart is pumping and his lungs are breathing his brain is thinking and he. Is. Alive...I hope. Zoey said once the surgery is done it'll be a day or two until she can tell if he's going to live.

"Aphmau he's awake" Zoey said putting only her head out the door. I gave her a nod and slowly walked in. Garroth smiled a goofy smile. "He's a little loopy" Zoey whispered. I gave another nod and walked over.

"Hey you're pretty" he said looking at me

"Haha thanks you big goof!"

"You're mean too but that's ok" he shrugged

"You do know I'm your girlfriend right?" I asked laughing a little

"Yup! And your name is Aphmau you're pretty and smart and funny" he said nodding his head he honestly sounded drunk

"Well you're not so bad yourself"

"Can I have a kiss?" He asked looking confused. I giggled and started to kiss him passionately he pulled back and his eyes were wide "do we kiss like that often?" He asked

"Yeah" I said still laughing

"I'm one lucky man!" He said making me laugh even more.

"You sound drunk"

"Well I may not be all in the head but I know I love you"

"I love you too" we started kissing again. And then we pulled apart.

"What day is it today?" He yawned

"Its a Tuesday"

"Happy Tuesday!" He cheered making me laugh

"Garroth you need to sleep Aphmau you may stay if you'd like" Zoey said giving Garroth some sleeping medicine then left. I guess that medicine got rid of his loopiness an he was now normal yet tired.

"Aph I love you"

Garroths thoughts
I'm not going to make it...I don't have the heart to tell Aph so I'll just keep telling her I love her

Aphmaus POV
"I love you too"

"I love you..." He started drifting to sleep holding my hand

3rd POV
"Garroth I know why do you keep saying-"

"Aphmau I love you with all my heart..." His grip loosened and he was no longer holding Aphmaus hand she was holding his. The tears started streaming from her. His face was pail and his chest stopped moving. Aphmau hugged him and started crying hr eyes out.

"Garroth no! You can't die! Please..." She whispered over and over. And Zoey came in and noticed the situation. She left so they could be alone. "I would die for you if it meant youd come back I'd kill myself" she took Garroths hand into hers and brought it to her cheek. She sat on her knees on the bed next to him.

Aphmaus POV
"Don't go Garroth don't go!" I was clenching his shirt and crying.

"Aphmau...he's gone" I felt hand on my shoulder I liked up and Dale was there...everyone was there except Zenix.

His body looked so peaceful. I cried as I got off the bed and Dale embraced me in a hug. They took his limp body and covered it up in cloths. They made a coffin the day before just in case I didn't want them too but they did. It was beautiful and made of glass lined with gold and jewels.

"Aphmau...uh...where should we-"

"Next to his mother's grave" i replied knowing the question. They sighed and carried the coffin to the area I lead them. They dug the hole and as they did I looked at the body. They didn't cover his head. I looked at his lips and his cheeks and nose basically I looked at his beautiful face that I will never see after this day. They lowered him down and put the dirt over him. The whole time I never stopped crying. We had a moment of silence and everyone left except me. I stayed there all night and just cried until I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Don't cry Aphmau" I looked and saw...him

"I thought you were..."

"Dead?" He chuckled

"Impossible I watched you die!"
