Aphmaus POV
Its been a day. Garroth isn't through with the surgery because he needs several of them. Zoey couldn't do them all at once because of blood loss that needed to regenerate or something I don't really know how it works. I haven't been allowed to visit so I just wait outside the door all day and all night I don't sleep.

"Here Aphmau I brought you some food" Logan said sitting next to me.

"Thanks but I'm not hungry"

"You haven't eaten in a day of course you're hungry"

"I don't have an appetite" the truth is I'm starved but I can't eat for some reason I just can't eat. Thinking of Garroth almost dying...just makes me act like this.

"Listen he's going to be fine Zoey said the surgeries have been going fine please eat" I sighed and took the plate of food. I ate some of the bacon and oatmeal.

"There happy?"

"No, you're acting different and I don't like it you need to sleep you've been sitting here for a day and haven't moved!" He wasn't here when I originally thought Garroth was dead this was somewhat worse. I didn't sleep I just stare at the door waiting for Zoey to tell me he's 100% ok but it hasn't happened and it won't happen at this rate. He's been through two surgery's he needed at least five more. The blood loss made his heart act weird and the wound being exposed to dirt made it even worse. He also had punctured lungs and intestines kidneys stomach and that was just the organs. He also had the chance of a skin desease so no I'm not taking it very well at all.

"Logan I'll be fine as long as Garroth is fine"

"...you killed Zane"

"He almost killed Garroth and wanted him to suffer and now we have one less person to worry about nobody knows it was us so we're fine nobody's looking for Garroth because why would they now that O'Khasis and ScalesWind are on good terms and Nicole can go back if she wishes without having to marry so we'll be better off now that he's dead" Logan sighed and walked away. I continued staring at the door just waiting. Then Zoey came out.

"I finished another surgery I can't do anymore today but the good news is that he's awake and you can go-" I didn't let her finish I was at his side.

"Garroth!" I said sitting on the bed beside him.

"Hey..." He sounded tired "lay down next to me you won't hurt me as long as you don't touch my gut" I did so and layed next to him. He turned his head to look at me and I was on my side so I can look at him.

"I missed you" he said in barely a whisper

"You were asleep during the surgery's how could you miss me?" I laughed

"Well when I was awake I only wanted to see you but I was to weak so I told Zoey I didn't want you to see me at my worst but today I just wanted to see your beautiful face"

"Well I missed you I've been waiting to see you and nothings really happened does it strain you to talk?" I asked while putting my hand on his cheek

"No it just sounds it and if it did I would still talk to you because you're the love of my life"

"I know you would" I said and we started kissing. How I missed the taste of his lips it just calms my nerves that he's ok. We seperated and smiled resting our foreheads on eachothers.

"Every day even when you're not with me I will always say that I love you I did yesterday and I'm saying it now Aphmau I love you"

"Ok I'll make the same deal and I'll say it right now I love you Garroth"

"Thank you for coming up the mountain to save me"

"I didn't do anything"

"If you didn't come when you did I would be dead by now"

"Well I don't expect anything back I just want you to live and that's all I'll ever need"

"Can you stay with me? Until Zoey tells you to leave?"

"Of course!" He started playing with my hair and smiled the life in his eyes was dim but it was there.

"I want you to know you're mine and always mine"he smirked

"I know and plus you can't get rid of me!" I smirked back and we started kissing

"Oh! Geez you guys! Its been a day not a year! No need to make out!" Dale walked in and joked. We pulled away and laughed at Dale

"Hi Dale" he sounds so strained and so tired I decided to wrap my arms around his shoulders and just hold him.

"Woah Cheif PDA much?" Dale kept joking

"I love him and don't wanna let him go I'm enjoying my time with him" Dale smiled and Garroth kissed the top of my head

"Whatever anyways I wanted to see how you were doing! Zoey said you were okay to visit so I thought I'd stop by. The others will come but we didn't wanna all come at once"

"I understand" Garroth now had his arm on my waist making me feel protected which is strange cause he can't walk!

"So...you guys say you love eachother now?"

"Dale where have you been? Inder a rock? the day he came back from ScalesWind we told eachother!" I said

"Oh wow! I had no idea how serious you guys are!"

"And did you not hear me telling him I love you over and over as we carried him here?"

"You were whispering and I wasn't paying attention to you" Garroth laughed a little at Dale and sighed I could tell he was getting tired

"Dale, Garroth is tired could you please leave?"

"Why do you get to stay?"

"1)I'm his girlfriend and 2) try prying me away!" Dale laughed and rolled his eyes playfully and walked out

"How'd yoiu know I was tired?" Garroth asked stroking my head with his hand and kissing it

"The way you sighed you always sigh like that when you're tired"

"I wanna stay awake to enjoy my presence with you"

"I won't leave I'll stay right here and just have a small nap and I'll be here when you wake up"

"Ok I love you"

" I love you too" I gave him a kiss and he fell asleep. Every now and then he'd wake up to check if I was still with him. Then he woke up and declared he was no longer tired. Zoey then walked in.

"Hello! Alright Garroth we are up going to try and have you sit up slightly." She chirped I moved to the side to help Zoey help him. He would grunt in pain but once he was up he leaned against the wall. "Ok rate your pain from one to ten ten being the worst one being no pain at all how was it laying down and how is it now?" I slipped my hand into his while he talked

"Laying down it was...a six right now its a seven" he sighed I gave his hand a squeeze and he was rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb. Zoey recorded the results on paper and smiled.

"Well if it goes down to a five we can try and see how you are standing" he gave a nod and she left. I sat closer to him and kissed his cheek which made him blush.

"I'm sorry you're in so much pain it hurts to see you like this" I started to tear up but he wiped it away with his thumb

"Don't cry the thing about pain is it demands to be felt and will only get worst if its ignored" I smiled at how smart and strong he was. Then Zoey came in again.

"Ok Garroth I need to look at the wound clean it out and have a small healing session (idk why but every time I think of this I imagine her doing kataras thing from Avatar the last airbender if you don't know what that is then just ignore this) would you like Aphmau to leave?" He looked at me and shook his head

"If she wants to stay then she can..." He leaned in and whispered "when she does this I'll probably grunt in pain but don't feel bad for me okay?" I nodded biting my lip. I hate seeing him in pain but I'll have to be strong for him. Zpoey removed the bandage and I took a deep breath the wound was huge and was still very open. She started to gently clean it out. Garroth grit his teeth and sigh painfully a little each time she applied some water. He looked at me and smiled I gave him a kiss to distract him. He was starting to tear up from pain and I wiped it away. He smiled weakly at me. Then the healing started. He closed his eyes tightly and he tilted his head back. He let go of my hand so he wouldn't crush it. I decided to sing softly in his ear to try and calm him down and it seemed to work. After everything was finished Zoey wrapped him back up.

"I'm sorry you had to see me like that Aph" he sighed wiping away some tears

"Garroth its ok...its all ok" I said cupping his face

"You have a beautiful voice"

"Thank you I wanted to try and calm you"

"It helped normally I would be screaming into a pillow" he laughed and so did I

"Well I'm glad I helped"

"Shut up and kiss me" he smirked and I did so smiling. It was nice and Zoey told me I could stay all night as long as I don't touch his wounds. We seperated and he yawned. It made me yawn so we decided to sleep. I helped him lay down and since these beds weree all double beds it was easy to sleep and not hurt him. I put my head on his bare chest and matched my breathing to his while he rested his hand on my waist and stroked it slowly as I drifted to sleep.

A/N awww Garroth isn't dead...yet...wait wut? I didn't say yet you're crazy! I said...uh...pet...yeah Garroth isn't dead pet yup that's what I totally said! Anyways I love you bye❤❤❤❤
