"Oh my gosh, you're alive!" Sadie exclaimed.
"You didn't think I actually died, did you?" He asked.
"Uh, it kinda looked like it," Hayden said.
"Yeah, blood was spilling over your mouth and it looked like somebody stabbed you with a knife in your heart or like your stomach," Beatrix said.
"Oh, well you saw Daniel, we can heal ourselves," he said.
"It's just, when I saw your dead body, I could feel your spirit, Shian," Sadie said.
"Oh," Shian said, "Well I guess I'm just so cool, I can come back from the dead." They all laughed at that.
"Well, what do we do now?" Beatrix asked.
"We can continue training or cower and hide until Kalina finds us and kills us all because we're weak and haven't trained, so it's your choice," Shian said.
"Do you think Kalina is angry?" Sadie asked.
"Oh, I think she's furious, we just thwarted her plans," Shian said.
"Do you think she'll kill us on sight?" Hayden asked.
"Probably," he replied, "Unless she wants to torture you first."
"Pleasant," Beatrix muttered.
"Yes, so let me show you around here. This is the one and only floor, training stuff in the corners, couches and beds for sleeping and naps, a small kitchen over there for food, and a bathroom to your right," Shian said.
"That was awfully short," Sadie said.
"Well, there's really not that much to show you," Shian replied.
"True," Hayden said.
"Okay, now you people need to get to training, so go!" He said, waving his hands. Beatrix ran to the fireproof chamber and started blasting the dummy inside with fire. After only one blast, the dummy crumbled to the ground in a pile of ash. She pressed the button for a new dummy and did that over and over until she got bored. She stepped outside of the chamber and sat down.
"Why aren't you training?" Shian asked, walking over.
"It's getting boring, I can already do this," she complained.
"Then show me," Shian said.
"Okay," she replied. She walked inside of the chamber, pressed the button for a new dummy, and blasted it into ash with one hand's fire power. "See?" She said, walking out of the chamber.
"Try the flying dummies, it will work on your aim," Shian suggested.
"Sounds good," Beatrix replied. She went back inside the chamber and pressed the flying dummy button. A dummy was hanging from a string and floating around the chamber in random directions and speeds. She tried blasting it once, but it flew out of the way. "Oh, we're playing this game," Beatrix said with a smile. She aimed right where she predicted the dummy would fly next and blasted fire. The dummy flew right into it and the ashes fell to the floor. Beatrix smiled and pressed the flying dummy button. She did this many times and after a few hours, realized everyone was done training and was watching a movie.
She walked out of the chamber and sat next to Hayden. "Hey," she whispered.
"What took you so long?" He asked in a whisper.
"Training got too fun," she laughed quietly.
"Yeah, I understand, I'm glad you're here now, though," Hayden said with a smile.
"Me too," Beatrix replied. She leaned on his shoulder and soon fell asleep from the exhaustion of the day.

How did you come up with the names of the characters?
Well, this story was originally an idea in a journal (I actually wrote about fifty or so pages of it, but didn't get this far because of the introduction), but only two names crossed over into this version. Those two were Shian and Beatrix. I'm not sure how I came up with Shian, probably just put sounds together and there you go, but Beatrix was like Beatrice, just cooler I felt at the time, so Beatrix was made. Sadie I got from Red Pyramid, you gotta love Sadie in those books, and Hayden just kind of popped into my mind when I was thinking of boy names that started with h. Daniel is the name of many people that I know, so there's that one, and Kalina, again, was like Shian where I just put sounds together and came up with it. So yeah, I bet you weren't thinking of this long of an answer, but you got one this long, so deal with it.😋
