Daniel walked over to Sadie after dinner. He so wanted to tell her how he felt, but he wasn't sure if she felt the same way. He wanted her to be part of his life and be his girlfriend, but he was afraid of rejection if he actually told her about how he felt. Daniel really like Sadie, but wasn't sure how to say it too her. "Hello, Sadie," he said, walking up behind her.
She jumped. "Oh, Daniel. It's just you. I thought something was going to attack me," she said with a laugh. It was a laugh that Daniel adored and thought was just beautiful.
"Hey, Sadie, I was wondering if we can chat a little," he said.
"Sure, let's go to the edge of the clearing. I know some places we can get privacy," she said, leading him over to a small, close, group of trees and they sat in the middle of them. "So, what do you want to talk about?" She asked.
"Well, I want to get to know you and ask a few questions about people here," he said, "So, Beatrix and Hayden are a thing, right?"
"Yes," she replied, "He's had a crush on her since the second grade."
"Aww, that's sweet," he replied, "And all of you hate Shian."
"Well not exactly hate, but we strongly dislike him, yes," she replied. At this Daniel laughed.
"Why do you hate him though?" He asked.
"Well, he kinda put a spell on Beatrix, confessed he had a crush on her that angered Hayden, and dragged us all here while pretending to be a new kid that we should be friendly with after he felt sick at a school dance and that we should walk him home," Sadie replied.
"Yeah, Shian would do that," Daniel said.
"You're so funny," Sadie laughed, slightly punching his arm.
"And about you, how old are you?" He asked.
"Fifteen, human years that is," she replied.
Yes, he thought to himself, she's not too young! "Cool, and you live in the town just outside of this forest?" He asked.
"Yep," she replied.
"And do you have a boyfriend?" He asked her.
"Not currently," she said, smirking at him. His mind goes berserk. She likes him.
"Well, you know," he started, "I don't have a girlfriend either."
"Where is this going," she said, smiling at him.
"I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?" He asked. Her mouth dropped open. Her eyes twinkled as she smiled.
"Yes!" She exclaimed and tackled him in a big hug. Daniel sighed of happiness. This was great, he thought.
Then Sadie mumbled a few words and collapsed to the ground. Her eyes closed and Daniel freaked out. He touched her hand and felt her pulse, she was still alive. Daniel picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. He ran out to Shian.
"Shian, Sadie passed out!" He yelled.

A/N ooooooh, cliffhanger :) and now time for the question. Nobody asked me one so I'll just make one up.
What is your favorite color?
Well, I like all blues and purples and lime green, I'm not a very decisive person when it comes to choosing colors:)
