Sadie knocked on Beatrix's cabin. She wanted to talk to her about this whole Hayden and Shian situation. It was even difficult for her to understand, and she was the most gossipy kind of girl in their group of friends. It confused her so much, that she just wanted to talk to Beatrix about it.
Anyway, Sadie waited for Beatrix to answer. She sat at the door for a good forty seconds before knocking again, this time much harder. "Beatrix, are you there?" She called though the door, leaning her head onto the wooden door. There was no answer. Where is Beatrix, Sadie thought. Sadie knocked once more before sitting down in the porch. She then got up and went over to Hayden's cabin. Maybe he knew where Beatrix was. Or could explain the weird love triangle thing.
Sadie ran over to Hayden's cabin and knocked on the door. At first there was no answer, so she knocked a little harder. She heard some mumbling that she couldn't understand. Then she heard somebody coming to the door. The door handle jiggled and the door opened and she saw Hayden with his hair slightly messed up. "Hello, Hayden." She said promptly.
"Hi, Sadie," he said, "What do you want?" He made a grumpy face.
"No need to be grumpy,"Sadie said, "I just wanted to know if you knew where Beatrix was."
"I do know where she is," he said.
"Then where is she I want to talk to her," Sadie said.
"She's in here. We've been watching a movie," he said, moving to the side so she could she Beatrix slumped on the couch. Beatrix looked over and her eyes widened at the sight of Sadie and she sat up straight.
"No need to act all weird," Sadie said, stepping inside.
"I never said you could come inside-"
"I can go where I want to go, strong man," Sadie snapped at him.
"Strong man?" Beatrix said, "That's really not an insult."
"It's the best I could come up with on short notice," Sadie defended.
"Fine," Beatrix said, "What do you want to talk about?" Hayden sat down next to Beatrix after closing the door to his cabin.
"I was hoping we could talk in private," Sadie said, glancing a Hayden's direction quickly.
"Oh, ok," she said, slowly getting up, "Hayden, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Ok, bye Beatrix," he said, sorta sadly. She hugged him and Beatrix and Sadie walked over to the door. Sadie opened the door and motioned Beatrix out. They walked outside and Sadie closed the door behind her.
"You need to explain to me this whole you, Hayden, and Shian situation. I am getting lost," Sadie said.
"Ok, well, as you know, Hayden and Shian told me about their feelings so suddenly. And then last night, Hayden and I couldn't sleep, and we talked and kind of explained our feelings and I realized that I sorta like him. And then he wanted to talk to me tonight, and I realized how much I really do like him. And we decided to watch a movie." Beatrix explained.
"So, you have no feelings for Shian?" Sadie asked.
"No," Beatrix replied, "Well at least not currently. I don't know him that well."
"Oh, ok. I think I have it. Only one question," Sadie said.
"What?" Beatrix replied.
"Why do you get all of the guys?" Sadie asked jokingly.
"Haha, very funny," Beatrix said, "Well, anyway, we should go to sleep."
"Yeah, good night Beatrix," Sadie said, giving her a big hug.
"Good night, Sadie. See you in the morning," Beatrix said. And with that they both ran off to their cabins. Sadie walked inside hers and quickly changed into her pajamas. She hopped into her bed and pulled the covers up to her chin. She then drifted off to sleep.
