Chapter 2
You groaned as you stirred awake, pain shooting through your head painfully, as if you were dealing with an headache of some sort. You blinked a couple times until your vision adjusted, finally showing skeletons instead of little white and black blobs in your vision. You could hear a bit of the creaking of the bed from your movements as you sat up, and a faint voice in the background. Although, a ringing noise made it hard to make out what the voice was saying. You groaned in pain as the throbbing in your head grew. But after a bit, the throbbing pain faltered and the ringing in your ears finally faded away, resulting in the voice growing louder. "Y/N? Y/N?? Are you alright?" You heard, and you glanced at the skeleton who asked that. Of course, it was the sweet, magnificent blueberry. "Yes- Yes I'm alright." You replied, clutching the side of your head with your right hand. "How long have I been out?" "For an hour at least." You sighed. "Did anything else happen while I was out?" You asked, glancing at him, a spark of worry fluttered in your stomach.
"Nothing much, really.. Geno and Neko are on the lookout for any of those soldiers from earlier." He said. "Neko?" You tilted your head in confusion. "Ah, Neko is an sans you haven't met before, he apparently glitched over here into the forest when the universes combined. No idea how though.. Plus there should be others in the crowd of sans you haven't met before, 'course they see you as an acquaintance and acknowledge you since they've since your important to.. those of us who has met you." You nodded in understanding at his words.
"And Chara?" "Chara went for a little stroll an hour ago." You frowned. "That long ago? And he hasn't even turned up?" You asked, clenching your fists. You felt the need to come after him, to take him back to the house and scold him for being out so late.. Heh it almost sounds like you're both siblings. You chuckled at the thought, and blueberry stared at you in confusion, but a small smile formed onto the expression of his cute little skull. "Ah, sorry. I was just thinking, and found something funny but cute." You sighed and shook your head. You flung off the covers and were about to climb out of bed until you felt an bony hand stop you in your tracks as it rests against your shoulder, and gently push you back onto the bed.
"No, Y/N. You should rest. You just broke the barrier, help us escape from the soldiers and made sure we were safe. You need to take better care of yourself!" Blueberry huffed, crossing his arms as he frowned at you in a scolding manner. "But.." "No excuses! Apparently it seems it's lunch time.. Oh! My tacos!!" He yelled, and sprinted out the room, and you raised your eyebrow at him, and chuckled. How cute.
You sighed and checked your pockets only to remember about what you did with the phone. "Well then.. I'm just gonna have to get a new phone soon somehow." You muttered. Blueberry ran back inside, holding a plate of freshly made tacos. "Here! Help yourself! I made as much as I could, since I didn't know how much you wanted to eat." He smiled, and you thanked him as he set the plate beside you. You grabbed an taco and bit into it.
You continued to eat, until you were content. "You should eat too." You said, glancing at him. "Ah no no, they're for you-" "Just eat one!" You said. "After all, you need to take care of yourself." You grinned as blueberry sighed, recognizing the saying that came out of his own mouth not too long ago. "Alright.." He said, defeated, and started eating his fill.
After finishing up, you decided to ask. "Now that we've eaten.. Can I get out of bed now??" You were surprised with yourself, usually you'd stay in bed and refuse to get up.. but this time was different. You aren't tired anymore anyway, and you didn't want to stay inside here forever! "I guess so." Blueberry confirmed, and you muttered a little "yes!", yanking off the covers and slipping off the bed onto your feet. The coldness of the wooden floor hit you, which caught you in surprise, but ignored it. The both of you exited the house, you following behind Blueberry since you weren't familiar with the premises. You both emerged into what seemed like the living room, which was fairly large. It had a couple of couches, and a Tv in the front of the room. It seemed to be blaring with life, as the sans sat in front of the Tv, some lazing on one of the couches or on the floor. You noticed it was the news channel, and gulped when you saw the familiar area of the woods you were in. An annoying woman talked about the past of humans and monsters, and how everything was perfect until this day, where the magic barrier is broken. You could hear the discontent murmurs from both the sans and the souls in your conscious. "Now let us hear from our young, dashing general!" The woman said, turning over to the man that she and the cameraman were approaching, despite the large crowd of reporters surrounding him. The woman and cameraman pushed through the crowd.
You frowned at the handsome man shown on the Tv. This 'general lunar' was a dashing blond with blue eyes and pale skin. He was pretty tall, but not lanky. You were pretty sure an group of screaming high school girls would finish up the picture if this wasn't completely dangerous. "General! Do you have any idea what we are facing with?!" The woman asked, shoving the microphone towards him. You were sure you saw a flash of annoyance cross the man's face, but was replaced with an solemn expression. "We seem to be dealing with a group of skeletons, and two humans as reported by some of the soldiers who gave chase." "Will the government let you take the job in capturing you, or have someone older do it? As it seems it's a bit much for an 16 year old-" "Do not doubt my skills because of my age! They will allow me to take this job, as I am fit enough to do this. I am not a young child needing to be supervised, mam." "O-oh of course! Nobody can do better than you!" The woman stuttered, embarrassed. Serves her right.
You took away your attention from the general, to an auspicious familiar shade of brown in the background. "Wait a second.." You muttered, widening your eyes in horror as you caught an glimpse of the familiar green and yellow sweater on the Tv. What in the world was Chara up to?
"WHAT THE FUDGEKINS IS CHARA DOING?! THAT NERD WILL GET HIMSELF CAUGHT AND POSSIBLY GIVE OUT OUR LOCATION! GOD DOGGIT FRESH STOP CENSORING ME MAN!!!" Fell roared as he whipped around from the Tv to Fresh sans, who seems to be resting on his side, his gaze locking into Fell's gaze, an purple light glowing menacingly from behind his glasses. "No can do homeslice. It'd be appreciated if you'd tone down on the language." He said, and Fell growled but didn't reply.
You rose turned around, and walked to the entrance, which was at the back of the living room. Your hand rested on the doorknob, your fingers curling around it. "Y/N, where do you think you're going?" You heard from behind, and you felt a tug on your soul, pulling you away from the door. "After Chara." You said. "No, it's too late. They could notice him anytime soon." The weirder of the voice and magic user seemed to be the Original Sans.
"Unless one of you cooperate with me and teleport me there. Too bad my powers hasn't matured as much to the point of what I had in the start of this." You said, sighing as you brushed your right hand through your hair in frustration. "So, is anyone gonna help me or are y'all just gonna mope around?"
"We'll go." You turned to see Genos and a sans who had cat ears and tail, you guessed this was Neko, in front of the door, the door ajar. You smiled. "No Y/N-" Growled Original sans, reaching out for your wrist, but you already were teleported off with Genos and Neko.

"You can open your eyes now." You blinked open your eyes, taking in the familiar sight of trees. You felt something against you, and blushed as you realized that Neko's arms were around your waist, and you separated from him, both of you blushing in embarrassment. You could hear the familiar sounds of reporters throwing out questions at the general not too far. All three of you instinctively neared the noise, and immediately by behind the trees closest to us. You peeled out from your tree, looking for the familiar lock of brown hair. Your eyes landed on the familiar boy, who seemed to be hiding behind some crates.
Only in your horror, he accidentally knocked over an tower of crates, which fell over and split into a million pieces of wood. The chatter stopped, all their gazes rested on the boy, who stood in the center of it all. And that's when a familiar shot of a gun filled the air.
Aggh I tried to put as much as I can to make it interesting, it's kind of hard to think up something for this chapter, but hopefully this will turn out how I want it in future events!
