I've been asked by readers how to write a Tap story. More specifically, how to escape of the devastating loop of selected Tap stories in order to get to the home page.

Well, I contacted a Tap personal regarding the problem, asking how to get out of he loop. Their reply is that one has to pay to escape. Then they added:

"We're going to be opening the app further for people but not until we re-launch some of those free features we had in the beginning."

So it depends on WHEN you downloaded the app.

If you downloaded the app between its release (February) and early June (or before), then you should get out of the loop easily.

If you downloaded the app AFTER those dates, then bad news: there is only one way to escape from the loop and that is to pay for a subscription.

Fortunately, Tap is planning to bring back their free features, which is great!!!

But as for now, pay or stay :/ I'm so sorry, I hope there was a better way.

Tip: you CAN try to refresh the app multiple times.

I did that in early June when I downloaded it on my smartphone and I was stuck. I got out at around the 10th try.

I don't know if it worked because I downloaded it on time or I already had the app on my tablet from its release and my devices are connected to each other.

But if that does work, then...either pay or stay. Or wait until the features turn free again!
