Prompt #2: Ships with Biana

Write a short story that mainly focuses on one ship: a pairing between Biana and whoever you want in the KOTLC fandom or any other fandom, such as PJO or HP.   

Example: Diana (Biana + Dex)

"Hi, Kesler!" Biana greeted as she entered Slurps and Burps.

"Biana." Kesler acknowledged the girl with a nod. Although he hated most stuffy nobles, he had a soft spot for the Vackers, mainly Biana, though. She had qualities Kesler adored, such as her courage and enthusiasm.

"So, where's Dex?" Biana glanced around the store, looking for a pair of periwinkle eyes and a dimpled grin.

"He's in his workroom. Why?" Kesler turned to smile at Biana's blushing cheeks.

"He, um, asked me to come over. Dex said he wanted to show me something." Even though that was the truth, Biana couldn't help but flush like how Sophie would whenever Fitz or Keefe complimented her.

Kesler's eyes widened in realization. "He's doing it now?" Seeing the perplexed face on the teal-eyed beauty, he quickly regained his composure and nonchalantly said, "He's been waiting for you."

"Am I that late?" Biana asked.

"Oh, no. You know Dex. He wants everything to be perfect," Kesler lied, laughing nervously.

Again, Biana stared at him suspiciously and waved goodbye. "Bye, Kesler! I'm going to go visit Dex!"

Kesler watched Biana as she walked into the back door to the workrooms.

"Hello?" Biana called, poking her head through the door and holding on to the wall for support.

"Uh, Biana?" A voice answered. She heard a pair of footsteps coming closer until she saw Dex in a fancy suit.

"What's the occasion?" she teased, making Dex redden to the shade of a deep red apple.

"I-I wanted to show you something." Dex ruffled his hair shyly.

"Fire away," Biana said, taking a seat on a purple chair.

Dex muttered something under his breath and took out a metallic robot that looked like a crane. It had space in the middle where an ebony box with gold trimmings laid. He got out a tiny control and powered it up. The shade of the crane's eyes went from dark obsidian to bright teal, just like Biana's eyes. Its wings began to flap and glided gracefully to Biana, landing on her lap. 

Curious, Biana picked it up and studied it closely until she remembered the box. She carefully took it out, cautious not to break all the wires and metal pieces, and opened it up to reveal a tiny piece of paper and a velvet pouch. Biana read it, her eyes glistening with tears.

"I made you a pair of earrings. I hope you like them," Dex mumbled, gently handing her the velvet pouch. 

Biana's hands trembled as she opened it up, revealing a pair of beautiful and meaningful earrings. They were black swans with tiny diamonds surrounding the lovely birds. 

Biana was speechless. "I-I love it," Biana whispered, finally finding her voice.

An awkward silence filled the air. Dex broke it with the little strength he mustered.

"So... What's next?" Dex questioned, peering at her with pleading eyes.

Biana's mouth formed a smile. All her tears were happy and surprised at the same time. She stood up and pressed her lips against Dex. 

"Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend."
