"Shivaaaayyyyy" the shriek cry broke him up from his sleep.
He saw her trembling in fear while her face was wet with the beads of sweat mixed with tears.

"Annikaaa" he cupped her face while she turned to look at him and collapsed in his arms. He couldn't understand what to do. He tried calling her name but she had fainted till then.

Shivay was trembling with fear now! It was 5:00 am & he had called the family doctor. Till the time the doctor arrived Shivay sprinkled some water drops on Annika's face but she was still unconscious. He was in tears now. Mr. Oberoi was consoling him but he was not ready to listen anything

"Da..add why isn't she waking up?? Tell her to wake up na?? Annikkaaa please" he sobbed.

"Billu Nothing will happen to her, let the doctor come" Mr. Oberoi tried to convince him although his own heart was trembling with terror.

As soon as the doctor came, Shivay gained some hope. After checking Annika, he told them that she had undergone a panic attack and it might be due to some bad dream or hallucination.

The doctor told Shivay that things like this are common during pregnancy. He asked Shivay to be strong and patient while he adviced him to take extra care of Annika coz women usually go through different kinds of fears, stress, phobias and insecurities during pregnancy.

"For how long will she be unconscious doctor" he asked.

"Can't say, but she will wake up soon" the doctor told and went away.

Mr. Oberoi felt relax and after hugging Shivay tightly he went to him room.

Shivay lied down beside her, he kept stroking her forehead with his hands for sometime. After sometime he went near the baby bump and caressing it lovingly with his hands he said
" Your dad loves you and your mommy a lot my angel, I won't be able to live without you too. Please ask your mommy to wake up soon, I need her by my side, always" he said while a pair of tears escaped his eyes.

The moment his tears touched her belly, the wetness brought some life to her hands. They moved while her eyes started opening slowly. It was as if Shivay felt the heartbeats coming back to his heart. He moved towards her face immediately.

"Annikaa" he said caressing her face with love.

"Shivaayyy" she said and the moment he felt himself locked between her arms. Her sobs were making him restless. She was hugging him as tightly as if someone had chained them together. He stroked her head while she moved a bit back only to shower his face with uncountable kisses. She kissed him like she had seen him after ages. He allowed her to do what all she wanted. His face was now wet because of her tears.

"Annikkaa" he said wiping her tears.

"Are you okay Shi..Shivayy? Are you hurt?? Where have you gone? I was so scared, you literally killed me" she managed to speak while her throat choked due to crying.

"Shhh...Annikaa! Look m fine, Your Shivay is all okay my love" he said taking her hands in his and making her touch his face, arms and body.

It was as if she was a bit relaxed after that. She hugged him again and said
"But you have went for the meeting na? I was waiting for you, I saw a news clip on tv, they said.." she stopped in between, that headlines still scared the shit out of her.
"I can't live without you Shivayy" she clutched his shirt tightly while her head  rested on his chest.

"You must have dreamt something bad Annika. I have not gone for any meeting. You remember we came in the room after dinner and then you said you are feeling tired so we slept. I was with you and I m still there with you" he said assuring her his presence.

She tried to recall the moments and she realised that they actually slept after they had dinner. It was a fucking dream that literally killed her.

"The dream almost killed me Shivay, I cant live without you. Please don't go anywhere" Annika said hugging him tightly while he caressed her hair softly.

"It was you who killed me, do you even realise what all torture had I gone through when you woke up from that dream and fainted in my arms? I tried calling out your name but you didn't woke up, I was so scared Annika" he said wiping his own tears.

Her heart pained at how he his eyes showed the hints of terror and fear. She can understand what all he would have gone through. She held his hands.

"I called the doctor and he told me that you have gone through a panic attack. He said it's normal Annika but it was not fucking normal for me, I can't see you like that Annika. I don't want you to go through any stress and insecurity. I can't lose you and my baby again. I m yours and only yours Annika. I won't go anywhere but promise me that you won't take any kind of stress regarding me? Just promise me that you will take care of your health and my baby? Just promise me that you won't neglect your medicines and diet even if m there with you or in the office? I won't be able to breath even a second if something happened to you, Promise me please" he said sobbing, his eyes all red with tears. The way he was crying scared Annika, it was as if she was making him weak. Shivay Singh Oberoi can't be weak, he was her strength. If he will go weak how is gonna fight the challenges that surpassed his life? She can't see him losing, never!

"Shivayyy, I promise, I will take care of my health and will make sure that nothing happens to me and our baby, I can't see you like this Shivay, I want to be your strength and not your weakness. I know you love us and we love you too. Just like you can't live without me even I can't live with out you, not for a nano second. Promise me that you won't lose the most important attribute of your personality, your strength. I can't see you losing the battle of life in any circumstances. Promise me that you won't fall weak." she said.

"I can't promise Annika, you know love makes you weak and may be that's why I m feeling weak because I can't lose you but I promise I will try to not lose my strength and anyways you are my strength Annika. I won't let anything happen to you ever" he said trying to explain his heart to her.

"I know that Shivay, Please stop crying now, the baby can't see his daddy crying" she said kissing his lips softly while keeping his hands on her belly.

Shivay kissed her back and tightened the grip round her belly. It was almost 8:00 am But Shivay decided not to go office today. He decided that after taking rest for sometime, he will spend some quality time with Annika. The night was quite a tough one and he needed to make some good memories to coverup the stress of the night.

They hugged each other lovingly and slept. Shivay woke up at 12:00 pm. Annika was still sleeping. She was looking relaxed and at peace. He kissed her forehead lovingly and then went a bit down to kiss her belly too.

"Good morning baby, daddy is here to wish you" he caressed her tummy. Although the baby hadn't started kicking yet but Shivay could feel the presence of the baby whenever he kept his hand on her tummy. It was like he could feel the bond already.

After spending sometime with his baby he got up from the bed and went to the washroom.

Annika woke up with the strong smell of coffee! The moment she opened her eyes, she saw her husband sitting just in front of her while the breakfast tray was kept there on the bed.

"Shi..vaayyy" Annika said looking at him with wide eyes to get a clear view of him.

"Wake up love, your breakfast is ready" he said making her sit up carefully on the bed.

"Sandwiches and coffee!!!" she exclaimed with excitement.

"You felt like eating them??" he asked her looking at the child like face she made.

"How did you know?" she said smiling wide.

"The baby told me" he said winking at her.

She blushed. Helping her to the washroom he went inside and brushed her teeth.

"Shivay I can do it myself, I m not a baby for god's sake " Annika said trying to take the brush from him.

" you are my baby" he said not giving her back the toothbrush.

"Awww bu..." she tried to speak when he said

"No ifs and buts, I m going to be there with you the whole day, so be ready to rule Mrs." he said while wiping her face with the towel.

"Wow but why such an honour?" she asked him although her heart danced with joy on the thought of him being there with her for the whole day.

"Annika I want to feel each and every moment that we are spending. My baby is the most important priority of my life after you right now and I don't want to miss on anything. Specially after what all we have gone through last night, I want a day exclusively with you to bring my senses back to me" he said while making her sit on the bed.

She smiled, although her eyes shined with tears. How badly she wanted to spend some time with him and look how he himself figured out what her heart wanted.
"Wasn't she the most luckiest girl of this world?" she thought.

"Thanku so much Shivay" she said making him eat the sandwich.

"I can tell you more better ways of thanking me" he said coming close to her and touching her lips with his.

They kissed while the atmosphere felt light with the waves of love ruling it. They had gone through some tremendous moments last night. Now it was time to compensate them with some lovely moments so that the heart knows that how ever dark the night might be, the morning is always the brightest.

Okay first of all don't kill me for the update yesterday, I know it scared the hell outta you guys but a few twists sometimes are not harmful right?
Well to be honest I love how you all were so expressive in the comments. I feel so lucky that I have got a bunch of loyal readers who feel the story so much.

I m really sorry for the cliffhanger but I hope this updates makes up for that.

As I m writing on the pregnancy track presently so it was important to show all the shades and phases of pregnancy. The incident which I wrote yesterday actually happened with my sister in law who dreamt something tremendously dangerous about my brother and she literally freaked out. I got to know that the pregnant women do go through some kind of insecurities regarding their appearance, their relationship with the husband, their looks, their baby, their family etc so I just thought of penning it down. Its not always same with every women though.

Do tell me if you feel the storyline is getting boring. I was suppose to end this ff in the last part but because so many of you insisted that's why I m writing in detail about the pregnancy phase.
