She squinted her eyes due to the blazing sun rays that pierced through the window of her room. She could not see him in the room, after coming out of the washroom she saw a small chit of paper stuck on the mirror. She opened it amusingly to see what was written, it said

"Hey beautiful mommy to be,
I m hot & waiting for you on the table downstairs, soooo excited to go down your tummy to meet  my new friend,
Yours faithfully

Annika couldn't hide that cheeky smile which appeared on her face after reading that small message. Of course that was written by her husband Shivay. She knew his handwriting, too good just like him.

"Why is he so cute???" she thought while her heart felt super happy on the way he addressed her as "mummy to be". It reflected how happy he was regarding her pregnancy.

Dressed in an adorable light pink maxi dress with hair half parted, she looked like a cute barbie doll. She went downstairs to see the house decorated beautifully for the party.
Mr. Oberoi & Shivay was waiting for her. As soon as Shivay saw her coming down he sprinted towards the stairs to help her.

"Hey! good morning" he said holding her shoulders for help.

"Morning Shivay" she replied with a smile.

"You look beautiful" he said, his tone grew romantic while he winked at her.

"Thanku" she smiled, her cheeks matching the colour of tomato.

They came & settled down on the dining table.

"Morning dad" Annika greeted Mr. Oberoi.

"Morning princess" Mr. Oberoi said caressing Annika's hair lovingly.

Mr. Oberoi made it a point that till the time Annika is pregnant there is no need to bend down & take blessings, he anyways claimed that Annika is like his own daughter thus she need not do any formality of a daughter in law.

"Look at the surprise" Mr. Oberoi said to Annika eyeing towards the covered plates which were kept in front of her.

She graually uncovered the plate to see her favourite dish in the plates.
Hot round puris & mouth watering Aloo sabzi, Annika's favourite dish. She was literally craving for it today & surprisingly she got them.

"Aloo puriiiii!!" she schreamed excitedly & the moment she saw Shivay & Dad looking at her in bafflement, she pinned her lips together while hiding her embarrassment. Suddenly both Shivay & Mr. Oberoi chuckled at her cute antics.

"Yes Aloo puri! You like them right?" Mr. Oberoi asked her.

"Yes dad! This is my weakness!" she replied, her mouth teeming with food.

"You know Shivay has himself prepared it for you!" dad told her, literally making her numb, her eyes grew wide while her hand stopped in front of her face.

"Shivay made this! Really??? How? Why?? Oh my god this is so tasty, this man is capable of cook brilliant food too?" these thoughts filled up her mind whereas her vision got stuck on his face.

The way he was looking at her, his eyes all curious to know did she liked it or not made him look so cute.

"Hows it Annika?" Shivay asked her popping up his eyebrows in curiosity.

She was still busy admiring him!
"Aw this man is P.E.R.F.E.C.T" striked her mind. He blushed looking at the way she was adoring him.

"Did he just blushed! What!!! he blushed, damn I will die" Annika felt like just going & giving him a kiss, he looked so cute while blushing.

"Annika beta??" Mr. Oberoi snapped his fingers in front of her face.

"Y..Yess daadd!" her senses coming back to life.

"Do you like it?" he asked her.

"Yes dad! Its super tasty, I love it" she said smiling at him while her eyes thanking him silently.

He smiled back at her as if saying "Anything for the mommy to be"

After breakfast she went inside the room, while taking out a book from the bookshelf she saw another chit of paper on her cupboard which read,

"Hey gorgeous mommy to be,
Open the cupboard to have a look at me, I m impatient to have you inside me, I hope you like me too!

With an amazing sweet & exciting smile she opened the cupboard to witness a gift packet. Opening it impatiently like a child, she saw an elegant full length gown in her favourite blue color. The dress looked like a masterpiece, she knew Shivay has bought it for her! "This man have an amazing taste in dressing too" she blushed.

She was waiting for him to come inside the room but he didnt. She lied down reading a book & soon drifted to sleep. After 4 hours when she woke up, she saw a beautiful bouquet on her recliner with yet another msg chit which read,

"Hey cutie mommy to be,
We are grateful to you for accepting us, we hope & wish that just like us, everyday of your & the baby's life is filled with different colours of trust, faith, happiness, togetherness, blessings and LOVE.

"Awww!" She literally said it.
This was it!!! where was Shivay??? He had been giving her surprise after surprise & he himself has not even met her from the morning. She was growing impatient now. She wanted to see him.

Eventually she went to the pool side to see him, the scene that she saw there literally made her eyes pop out with amazement.

The moment she entered the pool area, she saw some beautiful lights shining bright. There was a beautiful message board in between the frame of lights on the wall which read,

"Hey prettiest mommy to be,
We hope that your life shines as bright as the uncountable stars & the moon. Lots of positive energy to you & our little friend in your tummy.

She couldn't contain her happiness. She didnt realised that her eyes were brimming with tears of joy. The way Shivay planned these small surprises for her made her feel so special.

Usually when the news of a woman being pregnant spreads out to the family members, they show their happiness & make the women feel special but the way Shivay planned these small little surprises for her made her feel that not only the members of the family but every single thing of the house was happy & excited for the little bundle of joy that was coming.

She kept a hand on her tummy & said,
"See how your daddy is making us happy with these beautiful surprises but tell him that our biggest happiness is he himself, I dont know where has he gone, just ask him to meet us soon" she said while her eyes escaped some happy tears.

She went inside the room & sat on the bed. The moment she picked up her phone to call him, her phone beeped.

"Shivay's message?" she said while opening the message impatiently.

"Hey Dear Wifey,
Comeon get ready in the dress which you have got today, the party is soon going to start. Waiting to see you dressed in that! Dont forget to wear that pretty smile too. Sending Martha to help you out.

Everything that she had recieved today as a token of surprise from her husband didnt gave her the happiness & contentment which this single message gave her.

"YOURS FOREVER" she read it for the hundredth time while her eyes were busy shedding millions of tears. The happiness, the peace, the joy which these two words gave her made her feel like the most special person of the world.

She wiped her tears when Martha knocked her door. She asked her to comein.

"Where is Shivay?" she asked Martha.

"I m ordered to keep my lips sealed madam" Martha said winking at her.

Annika was growing curious now! What was he upto? She was happy yet a bit upset. The whole day was going to get over in some hours & he didnt even visited her once.

She went inside the washroom, after taking a bath she came out dressed in that beautiful blue gown. The purity, the innocence, the radiant glow on her face just added to her beauty. She looked mesmerising & ravishing in that attire.
"Oh how she wanted to hug Shivay right now for this beautiful dress" she thought while making a face, "was she missing him?" she wondered! "Yes" her heart replied.

The hair were made into a loose messy french braid. The small hair flicks were left lose on her face, they made her look angelic. The minimum makeup with that pregnancy glow made her look no less than a fairy from heaven.

"Ohh Jesus! Madam you look so graceful & pretty, god save you from evil eyes" Martha exclaimed in excitement after watching Annika.

She just blushed & thanked her.

"Should we proceed madam?" Martha said.

Annika nodded & they left the room.

The moment Annika reached the hall, she saw there were no lights & there was darkness all around. She gripped Martha's hands tightly.

Being a nyctophobic since childhood, Annika feared darkness. She closed her eyes in fear & the only word which escaped from her mouth was "Sh..ii..vayy!!!"

And the next moment she heard his voice
"Dont worry I m here Annika" she opened her eyes to see him standing on the stage in front of her while the hall lit up with hundreds of guest surrounding her. There were her dads ( Mr. Oberoi & Mr. Wadhwa) there were her neighbors, her friends, there were big businessmen, there was press, media.

She was still not less startled by the surprise when Shivay spoke from the stage to wish her "Happy Birthday to the Mommy to be"

  Annika was overwhelmed with joy.
"Oh freak! It was her birthday today & she forgot!!" She was so shocked & surprised that she forgot her own birthday & more than that what gave her shock was that Shivay remembered it & planned the party purposely on her birthday.

She felt her lips curving into a cheeky smile while her eyes felt moist. She looked upto him at the stage where he  extended his one hand towards her to call her up on stage.
