"I can't wait for this day to be done and have my weekend full of sleep and proper resting because I am already exhausted" Vanessa sighed as she sat inside her office. She has been working non-stop since morning. There was something urgent and Liam was barking orders to Vanessa to quickly get the final papers finished.
At least I have finished everything. I think I can rest for some 5 minutes. Vanessa rested her head on the table and closed her eyes. She was starting to like the quietness until someone knocked. Groaning, she barked to the person at the door."What? with out even opening her eyes. Vanessa didn't hear any movement at the door and thought maybe the person knocking had gone but before she could even put her head down, Vanessa heard a very polite voice, " Excuse madam. I am requesting to talk to Liam."

Lilly had missed Liam so much because of his busy nature. Liam was always busy making it very hard for them to meet sometimes during day and during night, that were all so tired to have romantic dates. Therefore Lilly decided to visit Liam at his Company but was surprised by a very angry voice from Liam's secretary. Vanessa quickly stood up and apologized for her behavior. "I am sorry ma'am, I have just had a very tiring day but I am kinda friendly. Sir is inside his office and you are free to enter" she replied.
Lilly entered Liam's office but he was so immersed deeply in his work that he didn't hear the door opening. She told there for some minutes hoping that Liam will recognize her presence but he seemed not to notice another presence in his office.
"Well aren't you so busy to notice someone here Liam", she finally spoke after getting irritated. Liam jumped out of his chair in shock, " Goodness Lilly, you have scared me."
"You were busy to notice me really Liam." She pouted while having a seat.
"I am sorry love, I didn't mean to but today was a hectic day for me. Everything required my full attention buy since you are here and I am done, how do you see if we spend the remaining time just the two of us." He wanted to get a smile from Lilly and he finally got it.
"Nice idea but let me first inform Em, we had planned to meet up but I think I will just cancel with her because you, I missed you so much" She said smiling.
' By the way how is she coping up with everything. It must be really hard for her because I knew she loved Keith so much.' Liam asked.
"Everything is hard for her now Liam though she is pretending. I know her but whatever she is going through, I know she will be okay. Right now she is puzzled, scared to move on but she will later forget Keith, she will find someone else who will love her just like you and me, she completed the last sentence laughing. "If that's what you think, I always wish nice things only to my baby sister. Now let's go"

"Phewwww, finally I can go back home and rest." Vanessa said in a a very tired voice. She prepared everything in her office and made sure that all the doors of the company were locked before leaving. Immediately after she reached home, she went for a warm bath to cool her tired bones and after, she went straight to bed without even bothering to eat something, it's my life, my body, my stomach she mumbled. She laid in her bed staring at the ceiling and thinking how life had turned out for her. She had imagined herself having a stable good paying job and he had it. The only thing she missed now was someone to love and cherish her though she was scared to love because all people she loved left her just like her parents and her sister. She kept falling in and out of her thoughts until the ringing of the phone brought her out of her imaginations. "Who could be ringing at 9:00pm." She thought because she didn't have a boyfriend or any friend who could be calling. Stretching her hand, she grabbed her phone and with out looking at it she answered, What?"

"Well hello to you too, the person in the other side replied and she immediately recogonised the voice, Keith, Kiara's Dad and the small voice cofirmed her suspicion." Daddy it was me who wanted to talk to Aunt Vanessa not you. Give me the phone now. Kiara's bossy voice made both Keith and Vanessa laugh.
"Okay boss lady, let me first say hello and ask Aunt Vanessa if she it is okay right now for her to talk with you."
"Well, sorry for the interruption Ms Vanessa" you can me Vanessa it's okay without that Ms" Keith smiled thinking about Vanessa rolling her eyes right now

"If you say so. I know it's kinda late but Kiara insisted on talking to you or else she won't sleep but if course I couldn't allow it because tomorrow she has to go to school. So I am sorry for calling at this time." It's okay and I would also like to talk to her.

'Hey Aunt Vanessa, Daddy was saying that you are sleeping but I missed talking to you, I am sorry"
" Don't worry, Aunt Vanessa's here is a super woman and she can do magic to talk you even when she wants to sleep". This made both Kiara and Vanessa to laugh so much. They continue talking to each other until Kiara started dosing.
'Aunt Vanessa do you mind singing me a good night song before I go to sleep" Kiara asked while yawning. "Of course, now first tell Daddy to tuck you in your bed and I will for you"

The stars are lighting up the sky. For the beautiful princess to have light through the night, she kept singing until she heard soft snores from the other side is a phone which was accompanied with a sigh, Keith's sigh. They were all silent and the only thing that could be heard was the pounding of their hearts.
" Ummm, Well I think it's time so say goodbye and good night." Vanessa said nervously.
" Yeah, good night Vanessa" Keith replied in a very husky voice
" Good night, ummm, call me Keith. Let us go by just our names.'
" Okay, have a good night Keith" She replied before hanging up.
Keith laid in the bed and slept off thinking about Vanessa's smooth voice.
