Vanessa was so concerned on pleasing Liam that she was so competent for the job and she was ready to do all the works regardless of what he had thought of her to be, lazy. By the end of the week, she was finished with all the necessary corrections with the files. She also made a few notes and marked some few lines which required his full attention.  Tilting her head side ways, she rubbed her eyes which were stinging due to over looking on the  computer. Gathering all the files, she stood up and walked towards Liam's office. Knocking twice, she heard a come in from Liam and her heart started beating. Her mind started thinking of many things which her boss could say to her.
She slowly opened the door and went inside.

"Good morning Sir," Vanessa greeted Liam with a very cool voice which he replied with also a good  morning.
"Get yourself a seat Ms. Williams and tell me what brings you here at this early morning in my office." Vanessa nodded her head trying to stay calm but her mind was a in a full battle.

"Hmm, Sir here are the files that you told me to go through after you found me sleep...." I know,  Liam raised his hand to stop her from talking and he  didn't bother to let  her complete her  sentence because he knew what she was doing to say.
"Okay, I outlined and  marked  all the necessary things that really require your attention. Sir, here is the summary were you will find everything regarding all the files." She replied him without even stammering.

" Good work. Actually we didn't need the files, they were already checked before you came but I wanted to teach you a lesson that weakness is not required here. Either you be ready to work or you go home and sleep. Anyway, according to what I am seeing now, I am so taken back by your skills so, I am not going to fire you. Welcome to LIM ADVERTISING COMPANY. I am ready to work with you Ms. Williams."  Liam said all those but Vanessa was so happy after hearing one word. "I am not going to fire you". This vanished all the anger she was filling after being told to repeat already finished files. Standing up, she extended her words professionally towards Liam which Liam accepted.

"Thank you sir for the second chance given to me and I am sure I won't disappoint you this time round." Let's see that" Liam smirked while shaking her hand.
"Of course Sir" Vanessa replied smiling with her heart at ease  before turning around to get outside but what Liam said next stopped her.

" Ms. Williams don't think that I am always so harsh towards my employees but whatever I did was to punish you. I am sorry."

"It's okay Sir and tell good thing I also knew I was in wrong. By the way, you can just call me Vanessa. Once again Thank you Sir" and then she got out feeling happy and contented with hereslf. When she was outside, she squealed Yes!!!! while jumping around. Elian who was in her office got out to see who was shouting but she found Vanessa. Sighing, she called her name." Vanessa why are you shouting like that" This a quiet place.

" I am sorry but I am so happy right now and this is how I can truly express it because I have just saved  myself  from being fired from this company. She explained everything to her and Elian felt so sorry for her but after knowing that she was given another chance, she congratulated her with a big hug.

" Now go back to your office before the boss comes out."  Okay Vanessa replied but not forgetting to invite her so that they can have lunch together .They both went back to their offices.

When Emily woke up, her hard was so painful and her eyes were so puffy.  Her mind was kinda blurry about what really happened but when she remembered all the words Keith told her, she broke down again and screamed which startled Lilly who was cooking breakfast. Running upstairs, she opened the guest room where Emily had slept but what she saw was so heart breaking. Her friend was crying while pulling her hair and slapping herself. She was busy blaming herself again for falling in love with a wrong guy.
Lilly stood there for almost five minutes but Emily didn't really recognize her. Seeing enough of her sorrow, Lilly shook her head to get rid of the tears which were threatening to fall. She moved slowly towards and called, Em but still there was nothing so she engulfed her in a warm hug and told her that everything will be okay but she also knew at this moment, it was not true at all.

"Lilly, he left me. I am I  so bad that Keith can't really love me. I loved him so much and I still love him but he doesn't love me Lilly. My heart is hurting. She started beating her heart with her Small fists draining all her energy. She cried for some more time but Lilly never said anything, she only hugged her so tight and ran her hands through her messy hair. Finally she fell asleep again in Lilly's arms.  After making sure that she was really asleep and in a peaceful position, Lilly tiptoed and went outside. She thought of who to call but her mind was so tight, so she called Liam and after two rings, he answered.

"Liam", Lilly said with her voice shaking. She was trying to be strong but it was becoming difficult.

" Lilly sweet heart what's wrong. Why are you crying like that. Has anything bad happened to you or are you hurt but she just kept quiet while sobbing.
Talk to me Lilly. I am her. Liam gave her sometime but after seeing that she wasn't ready to talk, he gave up and just listened to her cries.  Lilly calmed down with Liam's sweet words. After clearing her throat, she finally  said in a very small voice, "it's about Emily".
"What Happened to her." Liam inquired immediately with his mind imagining many bad things that might have happened to Emily. "Keith broke up with her and she is in a very bad condition. She wake up crying and blaming herself again and again. I am really scared about her Liam" Lilly cried again. All this time, Liam was so quiet and got every single word that Lilly had told him. Many questions were moving in his head and the only one who could give him answers at that time was only one person. Getting up, he gathered all the files in one position and got his keys. He passed at Vanessa's office and informed her about his departure.  Vanessa was so surprised with the way Liam's mood had changed but she only answered, "Yes Sir".
Liam got in his car and started it with his fists clenched and his face filled with anger.
He hissed, "I am coming to discuss with you now, Keith".

It's been long since I updated but something told me to continue writing this book so here I am writing my imaginations and Sharing them with you.
