Unfortunately, Therians being bullied for being who they are is far too common. Bullying is a MASSIVE problem for Therians, and more often than not, it happens online and I'm school. Personally, I've been barked at, howled at, had my expensive tails yanked on, been called a furry, heard people not so discreetly say extremely rude and hurtful things about me, and things such as those on multiple occasions. Therians have even come up with a specific term for bullies who seek out Therians-Therian Hunters. Therian hunters bully every way they can-and it can range from verbal harassment, to seeking out a Therian den that was built in the woods-either by one singular Therian or a pack-and completely destroying it.
     I'd absolutely love if I could wear my tail to school. Wearing my tail helps me cope with my shifts so much, and petting it when I'm stressed or nervous is extremely soothing to me. Feeling that I have a tail and seeing it on me makes me so much more comfortable in my own skin. But, I'm afraid to. I don't want to get barked at. I don't want to have my tail yanked on. I'd much rather feel comfortable in my skin than get harassed for seven hours a day. I'm trying to find new ways to express my therianthropy in school, but I haven't come up with anything yet.
