5 years later (Kai - 7, Nya - 5)

Kai's POV

I love my family so much and can trust them but why can't I tell them about my problems. *Sigh* Nya come back to school every day, having amazing stories to tell us. It's always about her and her friends playing games, funny things that happen at school and their mini adventures. Dad always asks me about my school life and friends and asks why I never tell them about it. I mostly tell them that me and my friends just like to sit in the shade but Nya would bug me saying that I should have a story to tell them, so I make up one. I could never tell them what really happens, I can't make them worry. The truth is, I have no friends, I get bullied, I'm known as the weirdo of the class. Every recess I would go sit beside my favorite tree in the shade and the bullies from my class would always bully me, sometimes I would come home with scars and tell my family that I got hurt playing. I would have to do there homework, all the normal bully stuff, but one day they did something that I never knew they would.

I was sitting under my favorite tree, my only friend. After telling the tree my problems I looked up to see the bullies walking towards me. 

"Just like always" I mumbled

"Hey there weirdo," said Lance

"We got a surprise for you," said Ray, he pulled out a container, he opened it and in it was RAW chicken,

"We got you something to eat," said Ray

 "I can't eat that! It's raw chicken, that could kill me" I said looking up at them

"We know but you are still gonna eat it," said Lance with a smirk

"NO!!" I screamed

"Then we'll force you!" said Ray, he pushed me down, pinning me to the ground. Lance put on some gloves and took so raw chicken. I closed my mouth but they poked my side which opened my mouth and he made me eat it. Ray got off me, I didn't chew it so when they leave I can spit it out.

"You better eat it or we'll tell Macy that you from all people have a crush on her," said Lance taking of the mittens, I hissed, who cares, death won't be that painful. It's just food poisoning so I ate it, "Good job, now you better not tell anyone! Or else," said Ray and with that, they walked away, I looked up at them and saw a tree branch fall from my tree friend and hit them.

"OW," they both said, they turned around, "Was that you!" said Ray, I shook my head no, "It was you, we're telling," said Lance and they ran off. Who cares, I look up at my tree friends, at least you care. The bell rang and I said goodbye to my friend and walked towards the school, then I noticed something. That raw chicken tasted...... good! Wierd I thought. I went inside the school and got in trouble for hitting two boys with a branch. Two days passed and I should be dead, but why am I not?

I remember that day so easily and I still wonder, why am I not dead. I don't go to school anymore since my dad died so me and Nya work at the shop. Nya would come and ask me for help with cooking since I'm teaching her how to cook. I walk outside to get some fresh air, but I feel like someone is watching me, I look around and find no one. Nya came outside and saw me looking around,

"Kai, what are you looking for?" asked Nya

"Nothing, I just had that feeling that someone was watching me," I said

"Ya, I have that feeling too," said Nya

"Wierd," I thought "Let's go inside," I told my little sister, as we walk I swore to myself to never tell Nya of what really happened to me at school.
