Ok I'm kinda excited for what's next in this story since I just watched Breaking Down 2 again and it gave me so many ideas so some parts may be from Breaking Down Part 2 with my own twist to it of course I really hope you enjoy!

Laurie POV

"What was that?" I ask getting up from the table as did everyone else at the sound of a howl being heard.

"It's a cry of danger.. someone wants to get in here and it's not part of the pack." Shawn answers running out the door with everyone else and I run behind him.

"No baby stay here." He says and I shake my head no.

"Like hell I am Shawn!" I say following everyone as he gives a growl but follows as we made it closer to where the intruder is.

"Trust me the last thing I want is to be here but I need to see her!" I hear a familiar voice say making me squint my eyes and get closer to get a view of the familiar face.

"Brian?" I say and his eyes moved to me giving a sigh.

"What are you doing here? How did you even know I was here?" I asked confused.

"Your mother told me." He answers walking to me but Shawn gets in the middle of us as if protecting me.

"Shawn it's ok." I say rubbing Shawn's shoulder and looking at Brian.

"I see you're dating someone now." He says and I nod.

"I am. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Can we talk.. in privet?" He asks glancing at Shawn and the rest of the pack around us.

"Like hell you are." Says Shawn glaring and I sigh getting in front of him.

"Baby it's ok, it'll only be a minute." I say kissing his cheek making him calm down a bit.

"Come on." I say to Brian walking away from the pack as they all glared at him and him back.

"Since when do you hang with wolves?" He asks irritated.

"If you didn't notice I'm mated to one." I say making him look at me surprised and hurt for just a second before saying a small 'oh'.

"We're far enough from them. Why did you need to see me so bad?" I asked.

"We need your help." He said and I look at him confused.

"Ok? For what?" I asked crossing my arms and actually taking a look at him. He looks as attractive as he always did, his muscles still the same and his dirty blond hair long and tosed back as always physically he could never look tired but his eyes showed he was. Those red eyes I had fallen in love with.

"Victor fell in love.." He says making a smile to come to my lips.

"That's amazing right?" I asked not understanding the problem.

"He fell in love with a human." He says making my eyes widen.

"Wait didn't he hate them?" I ask and he sighs.

"Long story short he met this girl, she was different and they fell in love.. she got pregnant." He says making me blink.

"Ok you're going way to fast here.. how did she get pregnant? I though vampires couldn't have kids." I say.

"Apparently only vampires who are woman can't.. Anyway the baby was born and the mother was supposed to die but Victor turned her to one of us instead. The baby is growing fast and we're scared that it may die.. and on top of that the Veteris (I actually had to look on a translater how Old was said in Latin for this.) are after us because they think we turned a kid." He says.

"But wait why do you need my help?" I ask him.

"Turning a kid is a death sentence.. and they won't listen to us so we need as much people as posible to be on our side.. we need someone who will fight by our side if needed and you know Elijah has had an obsession with you ever since he found out about you.. He'll listen to you most." He says looking in my eyes.

"Brian I can't just drop everything and go with you right away specially now that I'm with Shawn. He gets so mad if one of his pack members look at me he will certainly not allow me to go with you.. and he will ask how I know you and I will have to answer that question truthfully. There's no way he's gonna let me go." I say.

"Since when do you let your life be controlled by someone else?" He asks making me glare at him.

"Since the moment I mated with him I belong to him Brian. I can't exactly go against that." I say feeling my eyes changing to the same blood red eyes he has showing my rage.

"Yeah lucky you huh? You didn't mate with me but you mated with a wolf?" He says getting mad and I shake my head.

"You and I knew we weren't meant to be that being the reason why we never went further than making out!" I almost yell and I'm more than sure my eyes were red by now.

"The hell is going on here why am I so mad?!" Shawn came and when he saw my eyes he took a step back and look at Brian.

"What the hell did you do to make her this mad?!" He asked and Brian scoffed.

"Get out." I say to Brian and he looks at me.

"Look I know you're mad, so I'll leave.. but I know you'll do the right thing here." He said letting out a sigh making me huff at him.

"You're already acting like them." He says before leaving and I close my eyes try to control my breathing when Shawn came to me and hugged me as I hugged back calming down as I did.

"How do you know a vampire?" He asks and I bite my lip.

"We dated for a while." I say and he pulls back from the hug holding my shoulders with his hands.

"You dated? Why was he here?" He asked.

"Yes.. he was looking for help. Something bad is going on with his family and he needs my help." I say.

"Why?" He asks.

"His brother fell in love with a human and she got pregnant and is still alive because they turned her before she died completely.. The Veteris are after them because they think they turned a child but it was instead born.. it's something no one has ever seen happen before.. they need people as witnesses for this and he seems more than sure that if I'm one of them The Veteris will listen because their leader has had an obsession because of what I am.. I got mad because he was judging me.. and you." I say sighing at the end and Shawn nods slowly.

"Do you want to help him?" He asks and I nod slowly.

"They were a really big part of my life." I say and Shawn nods.

"Then you'll help him.. but I'm coming with you." He says hugging me.

"Shawn you have things to do and your music and-" He cuts me off.

"I only care about you and I'm not gonna keep you here if you wanna go help but I'm telling you I'm coming with you and I'll have some of the pack come with us for extra protection if its needed." He says.

"Shawn that's too much." I say and he shakes his head.

"I'll always stand with you no matter what.. plus it's not like I'm gonna let you go back to your ex alone." He says making me laugh.

"Fine.. thank you." I say making him smile.

"Anything for you." Shawn said kissing me.
